Pearl, look out!!
(Garnet pushes Pearl aside, saving her.)
*inadvertently drops her phone* GARNET!!!
(However, Garnet ends up getting slashed through by the scythe, causing her to poof instantly.)
NOOO!!!
(Pearl watches in shock as both of Garnet's gemstones fall to the ground.)
(Pearl glares angrily at the Gem, who has a pink complexion, magenta eyes, a small pointy nose, and cerise hair that is styled into a pair of spiky pigtails and, for some strange reason, her clothing consists of a green-colored top, puffy pointed dark green sleeves, puffy dark green shorts, dark green wrist-length gloves, white stockings, and a pair of dark green knee-high pointy boots. Her gemstone is located in the center of her chest, just like an X symbol.)
Wait a minute, you again?! Why did you do that?!
Who knows? I don't, of course. *chuckles* Bullshit, I obviously do.
What the hell has gotten into you?! Don't you remember that we were on good terms?!
*bursts into laughter* Me, on good terms with a Pearl and a bunch of off colors!? That sounds really ridiculous! *laughs*
You really don't remember, huh? No way, don't tell me you were-
*interrupts* That's enough, little Pearl! End of the line for you! *jumps into the air*
Wai-
(Pearl tries to summon her spear, but fails, as the mysterious Gem slashes through her physical form, poofing her instantly. Pearl's gemstone falls to the ground next to her phone.)
Wow, this was easier than I thought. *picks up Garnet's gemstones* According to the report provided to me, the square-headed fusion is the Gem who can see into different futures, or something like that I think I read. Good thing I got rid of her, I wonder if she was already aware of my arrival on Earth. Well, that doesn't matter anymore. *picks up Pearl's gemstone too* I still have a long way to go, but at least I got my hands on the five priority Gems... wait, six? Anyway, I just hope I've brought enough "Gem Containers."

(The Gem stretches her arm into the bushes and pulls out a green cylindrical gem device, opens it and many familiar gems can be seen stored in it, such as Lapis, Peridot, Amethyst, Bismuth, among others. This device apparently is just like bubbles, it prevents a Gem from regenerating after retreating to her gemstone. The Gem stores Garnet's and Pearl's gemstones in the Gem Container.)
At this rate it'll take me a couple of days to complete this mission... Well, I'll only report my progress for the time being. *leaps back into the bushes*
[At the same time.]
(Steven arrives at the entrance of Funland and happens to cross paths with Mr. Smiley, who looks quite worried.)
Yo, Mr. Smiley!
Steven, long time no see! How's it going?
Fine, how are you?
I'm so worried, the Gems that work here disappeared a few moments ago. They went who knows where, they didn't even tell me and left all the work to me. By the way, Steven, have you by any chance seen them?
Nope. Maybe they went to Little Homeworld.
No way! It'll take me forever to get there. Well, I guess I'll have to close up early today.
Really? What a shame. Well, I'll just go relax at home then. *leaves*
[Time skip - Three days later.]
(Steven wakes up in the morning from the buzzing of his Cookie Cat alarm clock. He begins his morning routine, such as brushing his teeth, washing his face, and cleaning his ears.)
[After a while.]
Ok, a snack from the Big Donut won't hurt me right now.
(Calmly and happily, Steven walks over to the Big Donut while humming and looking around. Once he gets to the Big Donut, he notices that the shop is closed.)

What? *peeks through the glass door of the shop* Why is the Big Donut closed? *suddenly, he spots someone in a suit in the distance* Oh, that's Buck. *yells* Hey, Buck!!
Huh? *turns to Steven* You?
*walks up to Buck* Do you know why the Big Donut is closed? By the way, why are you dressed so fancy?
Now I understand why you never showed up.
What are you talking about?
I've been waiting for you to get to the hospital to heal my father like you promised.
*thinks to himself* Dang, I completely forgot about that. *aloud* But I can still go heal him!
He died yesterday, today will be his funeral.
*shocked* A-A-Are you serious!?!
I thought you cared about the others, but now I see you don't. You wouldn't have remembered if it wasn't because you wanted something from the Big Donut, would you? I don't want to see you at the funeral, okay? *walks off*
But I don't- *shouts* Hey, I can bring him back... Oh, he's gone. *walks away* I can't believe Mr. Dewey is dead. I was able to save him, but- *suddenly bumps into the same old lady from a few days ago* I'm sorry, ma'am! Oh, it's you. I see you got your cat back.
Yes, but not thanks to you. A boy younger than you, strange looking, and speaking in a strange language, climbed the tree and saved my cat. But unfortunately he broke his leg getting down from the tree. *waves* Bye, I'm busy. *leaves*
A boy younger than me, strange looking, and speaking in a strange language? *gasps in shock* Wouldn't he be talking about Onion?! I'd better go to his house and see if he's okay!
[A few moments later.]
(Steven arrives at Onion's house and is greeted by Vidalia.)
Hi, Vidalia, I heard that Onion broke his leg, is that true?
Yeah, that kid's a little clumsy sometimes.
Can I come in to see him?
Sure. He's in his room right now, I'm sure he'll be happy to see you. Come on in.
Thanks.
(Vidalia lets Steven into her house, and he goes upstairs to Onion's room.)
*walks into Onion's room* Onion, my old friend, long time no see! How's it going?
(Onion looks at his broken leg in a cast.)
Yeah, I know it's a stupid question. But guess what, I'm here to heal your broken leg!
...
Don't fret, I've just got to...
(Steven licks the palm of his hand.)
This may be gross, but I think you're used to worse, right?
(Steven put his hand on Onion's leg.)
That's it. You should be all right now. C'mon, jump.
(Onion jumps off the bed and falls on his leg, breaking it even more, which causes him great pain and makes him cry.)
*confused* What the-?! Why didn't it work?!
*hears Onion crying and runs into his room* What happened here?! Onion, what did you do!? Look at your leg, it's worse now! *to Steven* You didn't have anything to do with this, did you?!
I-I-I didn't... uh, I just...
(Not knowing what to do or what to say, Steven panics and simply runs out of there to his house.)
Why is all this happening to me!?!

Shadowcroft Academy for Dungeons: Year One
Build a Dungeon. Slay Heroes. Survive Finals. Wounded Army vet Logan Murray thought mimics were the stuff of board games and dungeon manuals… right up until one ate him. In a flash of snapping teeth, Logan suddenly finds himself on the doorstep to another world. He’s been unwittingly recruited into the Shadowcroft Academy for Dungeons—the most prestigious interdimensional school dedicated to training the monstrous guardians who protect the Tree of Souls from so-called heroes. Heroes who would destroy the universe if it meant a shot at advancement. Unfortunately, as a bottom-tier cultivator with a laughably weak core, Logan’s dungeon options aren’t exactly stellar, and he finds himself reincarnated as a lowly fungaloid, a three-foot-tall mass of spongy mushroom with fewer skills than a typical sewer rat. If he’s going to survive the grueling challenges the academy has in store, he’ll need to ace the odd assortment of classes—Fiendish Fabrication, Dungeon Feng Shui, the Ethics of Murder 101—and learn how to turn his unusual guardian form into an asset instead of a liability. And that’s only if the gargoyle professor doesn’t demote him to a doomed wandering monster first…

Maitbudi
Fermboi was a man of one ideal: make the weak strong. When his rebellion against the king proved futile, he was given another chance at life. This time, he sought to do nothing after realizing the hopelessness of it all. Aventina wanted to do nothing more than to follow her father’s footsteps. On a retaliation raid against her tribe’s enemies, her brothers perished. Spared by a leader of her enemies, she returned home to find herself the chief of her tribe. Bolahulag, half-civilized and half-barbarian, half-lowborn and half-royal. Raised in his mother’s civilized tent in a sea of barbaric shelters, Bolahulag was hesitant to follow his paternal way of life. After a battle between a civilized king and his father, Bolahulag was sent as hostage to learn the economy and military of the nation his father defeated. Derai knew nothing more than being an orphan, but when a merchant took her in, the world she thought impossible soon became a reality. Monghe, stuck in a school exemplifying strength for most of his life, began to understand what he needed to do in order to be strong instead of weak. Story is mostly about nothing. Fermboi does most of the nothing. Aventina does most of the military things. Bolahulag does a balance of economy and military. Derai focuses on economy. Monghe spitfires what it means to be a typical hero. Hopefully this is enough to give a general idea to people who don’t like going blind aside from the work being purportedly “good.” Who am I kidding, my writing is terrible. I hope it improves though.
