My baby girl rests in my arms. Vinnie lays down besides me, and I see him sleeping. You would think that he gave birth.
Yesterday she was born. April 16th, 2029. Both of us share an April birthday, and it makes me happy that we do. We decided on a name for our beautiful daughter.
Aura Alisha Hacker. She is already just like her dad, sleeping soundly. I kiss both of their foreheads and smile when I see all of us together, a happy family. When I first gave birth to her, all I could feel was pain. But now that Aura rests in my arms, I forget all about it.
"I love you so, so much Aura. Your mom and dad love you so much. We will always protect you." I kiss her forehead, and I watch her sleep. Tomorrow we will be able to bring her home. Vinnie and I have been making up a nursery for Aura over the past few months. And now Aura's here. Vinnie wakes up suddenly, and sees my eyes.
"Ansh, you look so tired! C'mon I'll let you rest. I'll watch Aura, and there's a million nurses. Get some rest. I love you." I kiss his lips, and I close my eyes. I fall asleep, and relax.

This is our first time at home with Aura. My sister, family and friends have come over. They talk to Aura, and they say how cute she is. Vinnie tries to haul some people away, because she's crying. My sister helps me calm her down, and she does. Aura falls asleep.
As I look around, I see that Aura will have so much aunts and uncles. I watch Aura as she sleeps, and I feel myself about to fall asleep as well. Vinnie comes over to me, and kisses my forehead. I fall asleep on the couch. After I gave birth, I've been so tired. I just want to sleep. But I'm scared for Aura, even though I know that Vinnie will watch her. But for now, I will rest. I have another peaceful nap, without having anyone bothering me.

Now, we have our beautiful family. After almost 4 years of being with Vinnie, we're married and we have our baby. Soon I'll be graduating college. Vinnie already has his music career, but I will work to become a nurse. But, I will just rest and sleep just for now.
