TODAY IS FINALLY THE DAY!!!

I'm getting engaged to VINNIE HACKER! Wow, I sound like a crazy fangirl. I guess I am, in a way. I wore down Vinnie and got engaged to him. Just kidding.

I'm also finally 21, and Vinnie is still 25. But he'll be 26 in a few months.

Jessa, my sister and I have reached the banquet hall. Jessa is wearing a light pink gharara and Mani is wearing a blue anarkali.

When I reach there, I see Mia, Kayla and Vina. Mia is wearing a purple salwar, Kayla is wearing a green salwar, and Vina is wearing a mauve anarkali. I personally bought these for them, because I love them that much. And they look stunning. We wanted to keep the engagement low-key for now. My family, close cousins, and best friends have been invited.

But for the wedding, that's when things get real. All of my family is going. Crazy, right? But that's just Indian weddings for you.

So for now we're not gonna wear anything too jazzy. Vinnie's just wearing a tuxedo, but I will get him in a kurta or achkan one day. I bought quite a lot of each for him.

But Vinnie has reached here too, and oh my lord does he look handsome. His hair is tassled and blonde and amazing.

"Ansh! Baby, you're here!" Vinnie hugs me tightly. We don't want to kiss because we're in front of family, and I don't want my dad to kill Vinnie before Vinnie and I get married.

"Yes, that I am. And why are you here again?" He laughs at my joke.

"I don't know, I heard that some pretty chick was gonna be here. Do you know where she is?" I slap him playfully and laugh at his reaction.

My friends run up to me and hug me tightly. "Ansh, can you believe you guys are getting engaged? I'm so excited, this is amazing!" says Kayla.

"We really are. It's crazy how in 7 years, you're getting married to the love of your life, who started out as TikTok's hearthrob. And now, look at you guys!" says Vina.

"I know, it's insane. I'm just so grateful to have Vinnie in my life, and that I'm marrying him."

"I love you Ansh."

"I love you too." I hear some sniffling and look at Mia and the others. I roll my eyes at them.

"Seriously guys? C'mon, we talked about this. Now you're gonna make me cry!"

"Well, gee Ansh. You're getting married and what you guys are all saying is making us emotional, okay, so deal with it," says Mia. I laugh at her words, and she wipes at her eyes.

"Well, I was promised food and getting to sit and watch you guys dance. So let's go!"

When an hour's passed and all the guests have arrived, we start the dancing. My friends go up first, and they're dancing really good. My family and everyone goes up, and eventually we all crowd around and dance. I'm not really much of a dancer, but for Vinnie, maybe I'll shake some ass. I'm kidding!

But we have to dance appropriately. I don't want my mother to yell at me. But me and Vinnie just dance awkwardly while my other friends dance as if there's no tomorrow.

Tonight was so fun, and I never want it to end. But hey, we have a while more to go until I'm actually Mrs. Hacker. Ansh Hacker. I cannot wait until that wonderful day.
