i woke up in the morning, i didn't feel y/n next to me

i opened my rubbed eyes, and stretched my arms out. i looked at the table next to me and her phone was still there

i walked down stairs to see the cutest thing ever

y/n was sleeping on the couch with kyndra, layla sleeping next to her while gus was watching a show

"good morning gus." i said quietly, he waved back

i sat next to him, "did you go to sleep?" i asked knowing he has a lack of sleep

"no, i tried to sleep but idk i couldn't sorry." he said to me

"you don't need to be sorry, when did you guys come out here?" i asked wondering

"it was around 10. kyndra couldn't sleep and i was sitting out here watching scooby doo, so she watched it with me for about 30 minutes, then mom and layla came downstairs because layla had a bad dream. so we all watched it together, then i told kyndra to go to sleep with mom and layla so here we are." he explained

i nodded my head "how's school gus?" i asked trying to make a conversation with gus.

ever since gus was little he was always shy, so it hard for him to make friends and to carry a normal conversation going

"uhh it's fine, i have 6 F's out of my 8 classes." gus said "gus why do you have on the other 2?" i asked him

"1 A and 1 B" he said to me, "and why do you have 6 F's?" i asked him

"idk, i try my best. i really do, i guess i'm just dumb. idk how i'm related to you and mom, because i'm stupid and i make stupid decisions. you and mom are smart and you guys make smart decisions." gus said looking down

"you are very smart person gus, you just need to try more. you said you are trying in school and i believe you." i said

"hi daddy!" kyndra yelled

"shh kyndra, your gonna wake up mom and layla!" gus whisper yelled

"daddy?" layla said as she stretched "hi baby." i said back

"hi vin!" y/n said as she woke up

"it's perfect! the whole family is here!" gus said

"it is perfect isn't it?" i said to gus
