"mama!" y/d/n yelled, "i'm coming!" i yelled back, i walked up the stairs and into the bathroom at the top of the stairs

"yes honey?"i said to her, "can you help me finish my eyeliner?" the delicate girl said

i nodded my head, she sat down. "are you excited for your date?" i said to y/d/n

"i'm so excited! idk what dad is gonna say or react tho" she said to me with her smile disappearing

"well whatever, you look amazing!" i said finishing her eyeliner, making her smile

y/d/n's eyeliner:

"mama!" i heard my beautiful daughter yell, i saw y/n go up stairs while i sat on the couch

after around 30 minutes, they both came down...

my dad looked up while my mom stood by the island in our kitchen.

"where are you going at 7:00 on a friday night?" my dad said to me as he stood up

i looked down, while playing with the bracelets on my wrist "out." i said in a very quite voice

"mmm, and who are going out with exactly?" he said to me, i looked over at my mom, who nodded her head to tell him the truth

i looked at my dad "with a boy i met at my school." i said in a proud voice

"nope, go upstairs in change. your to young to date." he said to me with a finger pointed to the hallway with stairs as he sat down again

"no." i said, "i'm sorry ?" he said, he stood up again

"i'm not changing, dad you have to trust ne." i said trying to get him to let me out

"y/d/n i do trust you, i don't trust him." my dad said sternly

"vincent, let y/d/n go out. she is fully capable of talking care of her self for a couple of hours." my mom said

"she's gonna make the same mistake, we did!" he said making my mom gasp

i gasped and said "why don't you go and calm down outside while me and y/d/n have a chat"

i looked down at my phone, trying to just get out of here. i saw a text from him saying that he's here

"mama, he's here i'm gonna go. i love you" i said in a soft voice

"i love you too, have fun. text me if you need anything" she said as she kissed my head

i just looked at my dad and walked out the door.

after y/d/n left i said to vinnie "when she comes home, you better apologize. vinnie i know you are over protective of her but her going on dates we're gonna happen sooner or later"

"i know but you know how boys are lately, i don't want that to happen to her"vinnie said to me

"just talk to her, she'll understand." i said to him while walking into the kitchen

i ran inside my house with a huge smile on my face, i saw my dad sitting in the couch on a call and ran upstairs to tell my mom everything

i saw y/d/n run upstairs to my wife

after maybe 10 minutes i decided to go upstairs to go talk her, i walked down the hallway, up the stairs and walked in to y/n and i's shared room.

there they were, y/n looked up "i'll leave you too" she said as she walked out the room.

i sat on the bed next to y/d/n, she looked down "how was your date?"i said

"umm good ig" her soft voice spoke, with her head down

"i want to talk to you, i was in the wrong and i need to learn that you are growing up more, but thing is you also need to learn the boy, girl whoever's intentions fast because some people's intentions are bad" i said

"thank you dad" she said to me

"your welcome, ok now tell me about this boy?? how was the date?" i said to her as she smiled at me

she talked and talked about her date and how she doesn't know if she likes him or not
