Chris felt the same seeing Sharon lying on the road. It all happened so fast but his mind played the ugly scene in front of him slowly. He knew it before it happened, he somehow saw that coming yet couldn't do anything because it happened the very next second he realized it's going to happen.

"Mr.Vanderwood all your meetings are scheduled," Laura said giving him a file.

"Thank-you Laura. I don't know what I would do with out you." He said giving her a kind smile.

"Why? You are welcome sir. I'm just doing my duty and by the way I wasn't there when you started the company and you were just fine." She said smiling back at him.

Chris shook his head. Laura was one of the most trusted and very first employee of 'Sherry Enterprises' .

"Mr.Vanderwood, we finally get to meet you," one of the man sitting in the conference room said.

"Sorry, Mr.Sanders I was on a little vacation."

"Hope we are not interrupting," the man besides Sanders said.

Chris shook his head a little. It was time to come back anyway.

"So gentlemen without any further ado let's start our meeting."

Martha was waiting for Chris in his office. She knew he came back.

"No. I don't want any delay..." Chris was speaking to an agent when we entered his Cabin and saw his mother sitting on the couch. "Yes. Make sure its done on time." He said cutting the call.

"What do you want?" He asked her.

Martha gulped and her eyes already watered , she looked tired. "I am sorry"

Chris eyes softened for a second, " And?"

"How is April? Hadn't seen her for two months now. " She asked.

"Alive." He spat.

"Chris,I said I am sorry."

"You are sorry, Mom? Sorry doesn't bring my son back. Sorry doesn't bring me a chance to hold him in my arms."

Martha held her head in her hands. "I'm sorry so sorry son."

"You are? Good. Because i could never forgive you mom. Never. If you have nothing else to say please leave."

Martha nodded her head after wiping her face, "I am going to stay with my brother. "

Chris turned his head from her. Martha pursed her lips in thin line to keep herself from breaking down again.

"Just.." Chris's voice stopped her when she was almost out of the door. "Take care."

Martha nodded her head few tears rolling down her cheeks.

Chris loosened his tie sighing out loudly. He removed his coat and placed it on the stand.

After such a long day he needs to talk to Sharon. He took his phone out to call her.

"Savvy... Are you sure?" Sharon asked Savannah again.

Savannah gave a small smile and nodded her head.

"You should go if that's what you want Savvy." Momo said taking a sip from her glass.

"Thank-you Momo, how lucky I must have been to have you in my life." She said.

"Oho shut up." Momo said waving her hand.

"No. Really. Thank-you for everything," she said.

Sharon had a small smile on her face, Momo was really like a god sent angel to look after Savvy and Sharon.

"You girls have filled my last days with lots of love. Care." Momo said.

Tears filled her eyes She lived long enough to see the love of her life, her children die."Thank-you you both." She said placing a hand on both Sharon's and Savvy's hand.

Sharon was sitting near the leg of the couch placed her head on Momo's lap. "What would have I done without you? How could I have gone through everything?"

Momo just smiled running a hand through her hair.

Savvy who was sitting beside Momo placed her head on Momo's shoulder. "We love you Momo."

"Can't you come with me?" Sharon asked.

"Why are you girls getting all emotional suddenly? You could always come visit me and I'm sure Joe would take good care of me and didn't you tell Mira was shifting into the same house Chris was staying in with her fiance, she would definitely give you updates about me."

Both Sharon and Savvy sighed, Sharon's phone started ringing somewhat in the kitchen. " Go pick it up must be your Ex-husband"Momo said throwing a wink at Savvy. Savvy chuckled while Sharon scoffed at her.

Sharon ran towards the sound. She didn't want to miss the call.

"Hello?" She said little out of breath.

"Hello. What happened why are you panting? " He said. His voice suddenly filling Sharon with warmth.

"I came running, I didn't want to miss your call." She said, "how did your meeting go?"

"It was okay.. I still have two meetings lined up." He complained.

"Is something wrong?" She asked.

"Why? Why do you ask?"

"I don't know. You sound tired...sad."

Chris sighed, "My mom came to visit."

"Oh."

"She came to say sorry."

Sharon nodded her head but forgot he couldn't see her.

"She came to say that she is going to stay with my uncle"

"Hmm... where you mean to her?"

"Huh?!"

"We're you rude?"

"What if I was? I hate her." He said, even to his own ears that didn't sound convincing.

"Do you really?" She asked in a slow voice.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean you don't really hate her." Chris was quite.

"I was just talking to momo and I realised I was lucky enough to have her help me take care of chase and your mom did the same she helped you look after April these four years."

"Yes but she was the reason we tore apart. " He said running a hand through his hair.

"No.. she wasn't. We were. You can't blame her."

"She was the reason I couldn't see Caleb" he said his voice grim. Sharon didn't have a answer for that.

She sighed," One day you will have to forgive her Chris."

"I will but today isn't that day."

"Well anyway did you eat anything?"

"No. Not yet"

"Count from one to three" Sharon said.

"What?"

"Count"

"One..two.. three.." he counted at correct at three there was knock on the door.

"Sharon hold on a second there is someone at the door." He said before opening the door.

Laura was standing there with a take away cover in her hand.

"What is this?" He asked.

"I asked Laura to get you your food." Sharon said.

"You did?" He asked surprised.

"I did."

"Well Thank-you Laura. Did you had anything?" He asked her.

Laura nodded her head before going back to her cabin.

"Where did you get Laura's number?" He asked amused.

"Oho.. didn't you give your daughter a phone. " She asked sarcastically.

Chris chuckled. "Seriously Chris. She is six years old and she have her own phone."

"She might need it to contact me."

"Why do you think I am there? Don't I have a phone?"

"Sharon that was before. Anyway what are they both doing?"

"They are sleeping obviously. They both had way too much fun today."

Chris chuckled, " What did they do..? Tell me about it?"

Sharon went on telling him what Chase and April were up to today from Chase colouring April, from April getting wet in the garden from the pipe there. Chase and April playing leap a frog.

"I'm glad they are having fun." He said after sometime.

"Me too and they miss their Dad."

"Tell them Daddy will come soon."

"Hmm.."

"Well .. Sharon. I have to go now. Will call you later?".

"Oh yea..talk to you later."

"I love you"

"I love you..I'll wait for you." Was all she said.

"You and Chase are coming with us?" April asked grinning.

"We are." Sharon said smiling at her.

"Chase, you and Mommy are coming with us." April said shaking his hands vigorously.

They were sitting in the waiting area in the airport, waiting for Chris.

"Really mommy?" Chase asked. He looked excited.

"Yes baby." She said looking around.

"Mommy I first saw you in the airport" April said her eyes widening.

Sharon looked confused for a second but soon realized what April was saying, the time Sharon saw April When she came to give send off to Jane. " Ah... yeah."

"I didn't know you were my Mommy that time." She said with a small smile. Sharon placed her hand on April's shoulder. "I'm sorry, I couldn't come to you." She said.

"It's okay Mommy. Just don't leave me again."

"I promise beanie. I promise."

"Mommy look Daddy is here. Daddy. Daddy" Chase began to wave his hand.

Chris looked up at them. He waved his hand. Both April and Chase jumped into his arms.

"Hey... missed me?" He asked.

"Yes,Daddy." They both chorused.

Sharon stood there smiling at them. "You come near the entrance with the kids, I'll go bring the car."

"Sharon.."

"Huh?" She turned back.

"Give me a hug"

Sharon hugged him, " I am so glad my wait is finally over." He whispered in his ears.

Sharon placed a small kiss on his cheek, "so am I,love."

"Stay with Daddy" she said it to her kids.

Sharon started walking towards car parking and she turned around to see Chris juggling his luggage and their kids. She scratched her neck for roaming around like a love sick puppy.

Suddenly she heard a horn blasting and turned to her side to see a car coming towards her in speed.

Sharon stood there numb and as she rolled down on the ground. As she lay on cold hard ground realising it has been a very ugly dé javu. She couldn't feel her body and she was slipping consciousness and one thing she saw was her Ex husband and Babies smiling at her, with a faint smile on her face she closed her eyes.

It felt as if someone knocked the life out of him. It took him a few seconds to actually move his feet. It happened so fast yet it happened so slow.

"Sha... Sharon... " he screamed as he rushed towards her. "Sharon.."

"Sharon.. open your eyes Sharon..." he said. "Sharon... Sharon"

Sharon opened her eyes and got blinded with the light around her.

She was in a playground and a boy was playing near the slide. "Chase... baby..." she called.

This boy looked like Chase but on a closer look it wasn't Chase.

"Mommy" he called Sharon.

Sharon looked confused "Baby..Cha... Ca...Ca..Caleb"

"Mommy" the little boy called her again.

"Caleb" she called as she ran towards the kid.

"Mommy, Catch me" the boy giggled running away.

"Caleb, Wait"

"Come Mommy"

"Caleb.... "

"Mommy"

Sharon ran behind him to catch him. She fell on her knees. Her breath falling short.

"Mommy Are you okay? "

"Caleb" she took the boy into her arms. "Baby... I missed you"

The little boy giggled.

"Mommy, don't cry. I am happy. I am playing here. I look after you. My friends say I have to cross the other side mommy. But I Am scared Mommy. I am scared Because you don't stop crying. Mommy every other night you cry. I have to see you Happy before I could cross mommy. "

Sharon cried not letting go him.

"Mommy please..."

"mommy please..."

Sharon slowly pulled him away from her.

"I want to go mommy" he said.

Sharon knew it was her dream but it still felt very real. "I love you baby... Daddy love you.." she said. "Go."

The boy placed a small kiss on her forehead. "Thank-you Mommy. I love you too"

Her son walked into the blinding light and everything around her brightened as she lost conscious.

Chris hated sitting in a waiting rooms in hospital. His mind played the same scene when Sharon was about to get hit by the car. Sharon was saved by little inches. But she fell on the ground hard knocking her head out.

"How is she? Can I see her?" He asked the doctor.

"Mr.Vanderwood, She is okay. She hit her head to the pavement which made her lose her unconsciousness. Don't worry. Everything else is perfectly fine. She should waking up pretty soon. We will shift her into the patient ward where you could see her."

Chris nodded his head. "Thank-you Doctor."

"Take care"

Chris had to call Savannah to let everyone at home know that Sharon is fine. Savannah took the inconsolable kids home.

Chris breathed in heavily. How much he despised last two hours god only knows.

Chris took Sharon's hand into his. Just 2 hours back weren't they talking how glad each of them was. He placed a small kiss on his hand.

Sharon opened her eyes to find herself in a different surrounding.

"Sharon... Sharon... Can you hear me?"

"Yes Chris..I can" her hand involuntary went to her head where it was Paining.

"What happened?"

"What happened? You almost got hit by a car. You hit your head on the ground so you dropped unconscious. You know how scared I was?"

Sharon just gave a small smile, " I am okay. I am fine. Nothing happened."

Chris just wrapped his arms around her and placed a kiss on her head.

They stayed like that for few minutes.

"Chris?"

"Hmm"

"I saw Caleb."

"Caleb.?"

"Our son Caleb. I saw him. He called me mommy."

"What did he say?" Chris asked with a gentle smile.

"He said he loves us Chris , that he is looking at us and he is very happy."

Chris eyes turned glassy, "He didn't want us to be sad Chris."

Chris took a moment for himself before he nodded his head.

"You should rest. "He said tucking a stray hair behind her ear.

"Chris be with me" Sharon mumbled.

"Always." he said.
