"And you thought it would be okay to let him go?" Mira asked Savvy, who sat surprisingly calm.

Savvy gave her a bitter smile and said, "He didn't give me a choice."

"I hate him so much! He is such a stupid." Mira vented her anger.

"Thankyou for not saying anything to Sharon"

"I was on the verge.. but thankgod Sharon dragged you out that apartment."

"You are moving back, right?"

Savvy nodded her head in reply.

Savannah sighed deeply, noticing how tired savvy looked even when thinking about him.. Mira immediately changed the subject. "Where is Sharon?"

"Sharon went to her husband's place... she must be back in a hour or so." Savvy answered.

"Ex husband," Mira corrected her.

Savvy shrugged in reply. "Do you know why the got a divorce in the first place?" Mira asked savvy.

Savvy knew parts of Sharon's life before the divorce. But she wasn't going to talk about her personal life with anyone not even with her best friend.

"You know once... Sharon told me that her husband fell out of love...that is why they had a divorce" Mira said and continued "But you know when I saw him, I felt that he was totally in love with her. The way he looks at her says everything."

"When did you see them together? "

"The other day I saw them near town's square.. may be they are coming to your place." Mira said.

The ring of the door bell indicated the entry of a customer and Mira squeezed savannah's hand and went to attend the customer.

Savannah wondered what Sharon's plan was and prayed that what ever she is doing, do her good not only for her relationship sake but also for her Children.

Sharon stood along with Lily watching bunch of kids playing.

"What now?" Lily asked breaking the silence.

Sharon was quite for so long, Lily turned to leave when Sharon spoke.

"Remember when we were 7 and I was learning how to ride a bicycle? "

Lily frowned at her but she did remember what happened. "You rode straight Mr.Bart's lawn. He was so mad at you."

Sharon smiled at that memory, "I was so scared that I ran away..."

"And he didn't understand who did it.. but you left your cycle."

Sharon laughed aloud at that memory. Lily didn't laugh but had a small smile on her face.

"We were so happy. We had each other..." it felt very difficult to say that "What happened to us? Why.... why did you backstab me?" Lily face was grim but she didn't say anything yet.

"I wondered so many times.... what you both did to me, why? I could never reason your deed." She asked.

"You were my best friend.. we grew up together... if anyone would have told me I would have laughed on her face, but when I saw you both that morning I was devastated by what you both did to me. Why did you do sleep with my husband Lily? Why did you have to shatter my married life?" Sharon fired. It was about time she knew why Lily did what she did.

Silent tears were flowing down Sharon's face as silence etched between them.

"I hated you.." Lily started. Sharon couldn't understand her hatred. "Why?" She chocked.

"What do you mean why? You had everything that is mine. You were the reason why people gave me second preference. I hate you.. You were just a pity case of my family. You were never grateful for the things you got because of me. I gave you the opportunity to shine. I gave you the spot light but you always posed as if you got it on your own. Everything you had in your life back then was because of me. The college. Your Boyfriend everything." and that's it Sharon lost her cool.

"Excuse me?! I was never your pity case, Lillian. I am a person of my own. All the stuff you are talking about was just pure sheer of jealousy. and from where did Chris come in all this?"

" Oh don't act innocent Sharon, you knew 'I loved him. ... even before you both started going out."

"What are you talking?" Sharon asked confused.

"I Love him so much... I as usual put you in front of me back then. Did you ever care about me? I was completely heartbroken when you claimed my man to be yours."

"I have no idea what you are talking about Lillian."

"How would you....?!" Lily scoffed.

Sharon couldn't understand what the hell she was saying.

"And when I got a moment with Chris... I needed it. I wanted it." She said turning her head not facing Sharon.

"Did you not once think about beautiful family you shattered? Did you not even care about April ?" Sharon fired.

Sharon took deep breath's to control her emotions. Lillian looked her way and continued " I thought he would me mine after that. But that was not the clear case. Even after you left he was so in love with you that he didn't want to be anyone's else." Lily said as if she couldn't wrap her head around why he loves her so much.

"Lillian.. how could you break my marriage?"

"Oh believe me I'm not the one who broke your marriage , don't peg it on me. It was because of you, your marriage fell apart. If you had sticked around with him and if you had a proper conversation with me and with him. You would have probably known that Nothing happened that night."Lily concluded.

Sharon's eyes widened "what?" She asked shocked.

"Chris was pretty drunk when we started but even in that state he called out your name and I couldnt take it. I didn't say anything to correct him when he thought we have done it. I was about to tell you everything but you kind of saw us that morning.... And then the accident took place. I searched for you for few months but when I didn't find you.... I thought maybe this was meant to happen. Now I that you were out of the picture I have a shot with Chris."

"Why tell me now?" Sharon asked.

"Because..." lily's eyes misted " How hard I try he doesn't look at me the way he looks at you."

"Four years Lillian!! Four years I've been away. I didn't see my child. I couldn't tell Chris about Chase. All this just because you were so selfish and wanted to ruin my life.?" Sharon rage knew no bounds. She wanted to hit Lily so hard.

"I hate you Lillian. Get out. Get out of my life and my children's life. I would never forgive you for what you did. I could never..." she broke down.

"I know you have listened to what Chris told me just a few minutes before you came.... he loves you Sharon but I still strongly believe you don't deserve him. I would get out of your lives Sharon. But remember one thing I'm saying- you brought this upon yourself and you don't deserve someone so loving and dedicated as Chris" with that Lily left Sharon with the truth.

Chris was now starting to wonder if something happened. It's been a hour or so and there was no sign of Sharon and Lily. He was pacing on Sharon's front porch. While Chase followed his movements and April sat in a chair sipping her orange juice.

"What are we doing daddy?" His daughter asked bored.

"We are waiting for your mommy." He said stopping for a second and continuing again.

"My head feels dizzy watching you Daddy " she said again.

Chris stopped pacing to answer her but Chase ran straight into him. He scooped his son into his arms. "Careful Chase. What are you even doing?" He asked the little lad.

"He is imitating you Daddy." April said.

"You doing what Daddy is doing Chase." He asked and his nodded his head giggling.

"Why are we waiting for Sharon?" April asked.

"Chase go inside and see what momo is doing for me." He said, soon his son ran inside. He looked at his daughter and said, "You! Ms. Beanie.. you called Sharon mother remember that?" He asked.

April gave him a surprised look and said," I did?"

Chris chuckled at her before replying "You did And I'm sure you are aware."

"What did she say?"

"She was so happy." He said remembering the 'she called me mommy look she gave him.'

"So should I continue to call her mommy, Daddy?" She asked.

"She would be so happy if you continue." He said.

"I want to see her happy, Daddy."

"So that means you are calling her Mommy?" He asked.

April nodded her head in a Yes. She want her mother. She want her mom to be happy. Always keep smiling... like her.

Chris was sent in searching for Sharon when she was not back.Even Savvy called to ask what is going on.

He went in the same direction the ladies took off. He couldn't find Sharon anywhere. Now he was really worried.

'Where are they? '

Chris suddenly thought of a place and he was sure she might be there.

Sharon sat infront of caleb's grave running her hand through the stone. Lily's words haunted her 'It's because of you, your marriage fell apart. If you had sticked around with him and if you had a proper conversation with me and with him.' Sharon breath's turned heavy.

She was right. Sharon brought this upon herself. If only she waited to listen her husband's confession or atleast asked Lily Why?

But she didn't! She ran away like a scared crow. Abandoned her baby. And Raised other without a father. Her mind reeled back to the night of the accident of only she didn't take a rash decision that night maybe her triplets would have been safe. In past when ever she dwelled upon the same thought she always told herself that she did what she had to do... she had to leave. She can't stay with him. But now that she knew nothing happened the other night she couldn't blame him. She saw them kissing that morning but she was not sure id what to believe anymore. She was scared to go near Chris and ask him.

'Im so stupid. I'm so stupid' her brain kept on repeating. Four years.

Sharon couldn't stop her tears.

"I knew I would find you here", Chris's Voice startled Sharon.

Sharon couldn't bring herself to turn around and face him.

"Are you okay?" He asked coming near her.

Sharon pressed her lips together so that she couldn't make a sound.

"Sharon..." he turned her towards him. One look at her face and he could tell she was reminiscing the past.

"Sharon... I know I screwed up very badly. I'm so sorry for having broken your trust.." he started to apologise but Sharon was literally shaking with all that crying.

"What happend? What did lily say?...Talk to me...Sher..Sharon."

"I'm so sorry Chris. I'm so sorry." She said.

"Sharon what happened?" He asked shaking her a little.

"Lily told me 'You did not sleep with her that night.'"

"What?" Chris asked shocked.

"It's all my fault I should have listened to what you had to say."

Chris felt shocked, betrayed and relieved in some weird sense.

"It's all my fault..." Sharon's words brought him back again. He pushed this new information aside to let Sharon get hold of herself.

"Sharon's it's not only your fault.. it's mine... it's lily's. But mostly it's mine.. I should have left the farm house the moment she advanced at me. It's my fault for not finding you sooner. It's my fault you had to doubt me".
