Sharon always loved how well she fit in his arms. Chris body was just as warm as she remembered it to be. 'Oh...! How she missed the warmth'. Her eyes widened immediately at that thought. Her senses returned to her as she registered what was happening.

She placed her hands on his chest and gave a hard shove. Both of them were breathing hard, Chris had back of his Palm pressed to his lips. Sharon had her lips pressed in thin line as she muttered "Stay away from me". She said walking ahead.

Chris was glad she didn't use violence like last time. He pushed his hands into the pocket of his jeans and walked behind her enjoying her back view.

Sharon could feel his eyes on her and she gulped again. She stopped suddenly causing him to bump in to her. "Walk beside me" she said sternly.

Chris looked as if a deer caught, 'God.. why did he look so cute?' 'Sharon get hold of yourself!! What the hell are you going on thinking about? You hate him,remember.Must have been the kiss. Yes the kiss" she talked with herself.

"I was okay." He said shrugging his shoulders .

"I know" She said curtly.

"Thanks for the necklace. Beanie is in love with it." He said after few minutes of silent strides.

"I'm glad she likes it." Sharon replied twisting her fingers.

"Come on out with it, " Chris said observing Sharon.

Sharon's brows raised in a question. "I know you want to ask something, ask." He said.

"Its just.... that... Did April say anything? Did she talk about me? Does she hate me?"

"Sharon...Breath. Yes, she talked about you and she likes you a lot already... you should just give her sometime to come around. Just keep giving her your love. There is nothing a mother's love can't win."

Sharon felt she saw a tinge of sadness in his last line. "Is your mom doing okay?"

Chris looked surprised that she would asked about her. "I think so." He said shrugging.

Sharon frowned but didn't say anything. It was quite a walk to Savannah's Flat. By God's grace Chris could keep his thoughts to himself.

Sharon rang the doorbell but there was no response. "Savvy.. Savvy.." she knocked on the door.

Sharon looked around a little, tried to peek through Windows but nothing was seen. "Savvy.... Savannah, open the door."

"I think no one's home." Chris said trying to twist the knob.

Sharon shook her head in a no and pointed to the open door in the balcony the other side. "Savvy... open the door or I'll have it broken." Sharon threatened but still there was no reply .

Chris raised an eyebrow at her. "I don't think she is in there. May be she left the door open." He reasoned.

"You think so?" Sharon asked looking around for a way to get into the balcony.

Savannah's flat was at the right corner of the building. There fore the balcony was just few steps on the other side of corridor.

If just Sharon could make it those few steps.

Sharon removed her sandals and jumped on the wall to climb into the balcony.

Chris panicked immediately seeing on the thin corridor wall on 4th floor. "What are you doing?" He asked his hands holding her arms tightly and trying to get her down.

"Do not fret. I'm trying to get to the balcony now leave me and let me concentrate so I won't slip." She said frowning at him.

"Are you crazy? What if you fall?" Chris asked looking down.

"I won't and why do you care?" She asked annoyed.

"Why do I care? You ask me why do I care?" Chris asked in rage.

"Nothing is going to happen. It's just few steps away." She said trying to break his grip .

Chris breathed out heavily and let her to slowly. "Then I'll go and open the door for you."

"You sure?" Sharon asked Chris while he nodded his head in yes.

Sharon shrugged her shoulders and climbed down. It felt as if she was too reluctant in letting Chris try. It also felt as if she would be glad to push him. Chris gulped as he placed his first step on. "I can't believe I'm doing this.. if anything happens to me would you please tell my Children how much I love them." Chris said as he placed his next step.

Sharon scoffed, "Don't over react. It's just few more steps. If you were that scared you could have let me to do it myself."

"I'm not scared " he said.

"Sure you are not." She said teasing .

"Sharon.... I'm not scared" he said turning his head causing him to miss his step.

"Careful" Sharon called out immediately. Fortunately he was holding the sledge above. "Now just stop talking and be careful with your steps."

It took another two minutes for Chris to safely landed in savvy's balcony. He breathed heavily.

"Now go in and open the door for me." She said to him.

Chris could tell by the atmosphere in the flat that no one moved in the flat for atleast two days. There was dust on the floor.

"Open the bloody door Vanderwood" Sharon shouted from outside.

Chris rushed through the hall when he saw Savannah lying in the floor. "Savvy.... Savannah.... wake up." He said.

"Chris.... is she in there? Savvy..." Sharon called. Chris rushed and opened the door. " I think she fainted."

"Go get some water " She said as she ran towards her cousin, "Savvy... Savvy ...."

"How is she?" Sharon asked as soon as Joe came out examining Savannah.

"She is Fine. I gave her some glucose."

"What in the bloody hell has happened to my grand daughter." Momo wailed a little.

"Momo, she is Fine." Joe reassured.

"I'll talk to her momo. " Sharon said giving Momo a small smile.

"Mommy, aunt Savvy stay?" Chase asked excitedly.

"She is." Sharon replied.

"Who is aunt Savvy?" April asked crunching in her choco chip.

"She is my cousin." Sharon said smiling at her.

"Cousin... " April repeated.

"Aunt Savvy will play with us." Chase told April excitedly.

"Chase not to today" Sharon told.

"Sharon..." Chris called.

"Hmm?"

"If you don't mind can I take Chase out to supermarket with April?" He asked.

Sharon gave excited Chase a look, it would be easy to talk to Savvy once the kids are out of the house.

"You can but please be careful."

"Daddy.... we are going out?" Chase asked.

"Go wear your shoes kid" Chris said ruffling his hair.

"You won't come?" April asked Sharon. Sharon smiled brightly at her daughter "No.. I cant" We will go someother time.

"Savvy, tell me what happened ? Maybe, I can help you." Sharon begged Savannah for the umpteenth time.

Savvy kept on crying but didn't utter a word.

"Savannah... you are scaring me.Where have you been from past two days? Why are you crying?" Momo asked.

Savannah placed her head on Momo's lap and continued with her silent tears.

"Sharon go get Savvy a glass of water please." Momo asked.

Sharon quickly filled glass of water and was about to go back when she saw that Chris forgot his phone and it has been ringing continuously.

She looked at the caller I.d It was someone called Laura calling. She cut the call and put the phone on silent.

She gave Momo glass of water who was trying very hard to let Savvy drink some.

Chris phone started ringing again. Sharon excused herself from the room quitely. Why did he not take his phone? And who is going on calling? Sharon thought.

She took a deep breathe and swiped yes to answer the call but before she could say anything the voice from the other side said," Chris....What happened to Lily? Why is she not lifting my phone call.?"

Sharon knew that voice it was lily's mother. Her favourite aunt. Sharon had to bite her lip to stop herself from speaking. She didn't want her aunt think she was the reason for the rift between Lillian and Chris. She cut the call immediately.

Now that Chris wants Chase on his life did he really reject Lily and what does the kiss meant for him? Does he wish to claim his position in her heart? But all Sharon has in her heart are questions... questions... She should only answer... Does she wants to forgive Chris for what he had done.? If she does... is she ready to forgive him? Sharon shook her head and pushed all the questions aside. She could think about it later also, for now Savvy is her priority. Sharon sighed heavily before joining Momo and Savannah. This time she left Chris phone on the kitchen counter.

"Daddy I want to ride the trolley." April said as soon as they the entered the supermarket.

Chris was carrying Chase and April was walking beside him. As soon as he took a trolley he placed Chase in the baby away of the shopping trolley soon he helped April too in the big seat.

"Daddy lets go fast" April clapped excitedly which Chase soon followed. Chris chuckled at the pair while he raced in the empty aisles of the supermarket.

"Wouii..wouii..." Chase made sounds. While April stuck to "Yaay..."

"Sir... Excuse me sir. You are not allowed to do it. " a sales girl ran behind Chris. Chris pushed the trolley faster and took a sharp turn carefully, escaping the sales girl.

"Daddy..." Chase called.

"Sush !" Chris placed his fingers on Chase lips while looking around to know if they were safe.. April giggled.

"Daddy candy! " Chase said against his fingers. They were different kinds of candy in the aisle and Chris let his loss pick different Candy. After a long debate the siblings decided to take two of each variety.

After shopping little bits and pieces of snacks for the his kids. They raced again in the aisles . They kind of Challenged other dad who was also racing with his children, so it turned a bit serious. And the race started. However, it's something that Chris won but they kind of created a havoc around and atlast have been kicked out of the store.

"They asked Daddy to get out." Chris complained to his kids as if he cant believe it. April has been laughing so loud while Chase though he sort of didn't understand the reason laughed along with his sister.

"That was fun." April said catching her breath.

"Daddy Again!" Chase asked causing Chris to laugh out loud.

Chris looked at Chase and then April and asked , "Who wants ice cream?"
