"Chase where are you?"

"Chase..." Sharon woke up with her heart pounding and sweat dripping from her forehead.

She breathed heavily in and out. Looked around. She was still in her room and Chase was tucked beside her. She placed her hand on his head and gave him a small sloppy kiss. Sharon was still restless. She was having the same dream for fifth time in past two months. She just could't digest the fact that she might have to loose her baby, she already lost two of her babies. Sharon always blamed that dreadful day.

She was brushing her hair aside when her alarm started buzzing. She switch her alarm off getting ready for daily chore. She had to go to airport to see Jane off also.

Sharon quickly washed her face, pulled all her hair into a messy bun and checked on Chase who was still sound asleep, good thing she thought.

She also checked on Momo who was passed out on the sofa still in the very last place she saw her. Sharon sighed invain.

She wanted to bake some cookies for Jane as a small gift. Jane was Joseph's sister and was a very regular customer of hers untill she moved to NewYork last summer. Jane was a magazine editor and was very good at her job. Both the siblings were very well know for their warm smile, helping nature in the small town.

Sharon set the tray in the oven when she heard a big crash. 'Oh shit' she thought and rushed to bed room. Chase has this habbit of rolling of the bed, even though Sharon creates a puddle he kicks them and then tumbled down. At first she was so scared and didn't know what to do. Only good thing from that was that Chase never used to cry. He just used to scratch his head and give her sheepish lazy early morning smiles.

Like every other day Chase is sitting in the floor scratching his head.

"Baby... you are alright?" She asked picking him into her arms.

"Yea.." he said lazily, snuggling into her neck.

"Good morning then sweety" she said peeling him of her.

"Hmm..." he grunted.

"Chase.. what do you say?"

"Good morning mommy" he kissed her cheeks.

"Very good.. come let's brush your teeth and clean up, so you could have some cookies."

"Cookies you made some, mommy?"

He asked excited.

"Yup"

"Mommy... I want some cookies" he said jumping around. Sharon chuckled at his enthusiasm "Come I will give your brush"

It was 9:30 am and as usual Sharon was running around. She gave Chase a nice bath and as well as his breakfast. She prepared Momo some bread cookies and syrup. She packed few for Jane and few for Joe as well.

A typical day at the Daies Mansion. Sharon was brushing her blonde hair which was being very difficult. At the times like this she was glad she cut her long hair. She used to have a really long hair till her hips but now she chopped it of. Now it's just till the middle of her spine and she likes it.

"Mommy... Can I go to Mrs.kinlys ?" Chase asked running into the bedroom with his newest obsession 'His New toy'.

"Mrs.kingsley Chase.... and yes Chase you may go. May be in the evening when i come back"

"Mommy No..Now!" Chase demanded.

Sharon narrowed at her eyes at the Three year old... such a demanding kid she thought. Reminds her of so much of Chris. It's true that Chase looks nothing like Chris, he have got Sharon's blonde hair, almost everything... except those blue eyes. But all his habits are similar to Chris. Sometimes she wonders that how might have Chase be so similar to Chris.

She remembers April doing the same acting like Chris, but what April does is seeing Chris from the time she was born. But with Chase who have not seen Chris.... it's like a true hereditary.

"Mommy. .." Chase whines.

"No.. Chase baby... Who would drop you back? I'm sure Mrs.kingsley is busy, Momo can't come, and Mommy is..." she said glancing back to the watch "already late." She said giving upon her hair and pulling it into a loose messy bun.

Chase was sulking in one of the Corner playing with his toy and ignoring Sharon completely.

"Chase be a good boy, I promise I will take you to Mrs.Kingsley later." Sharon bargained.

Chase didn't move from his spot.

"Sharon you go... you are already late... Chase and I.. we both will watch a movie today so that when you come home later, you can go see Bash. Is that okay Chase.?" Momo asked.

Chase just nodded his head but his eyes were lit up with excitement.

"Which movie do you wanna watch boy ?"

"The one with the fish...and lots of other fishes" he said excitedly.

"Sharon... what's the movie with Fishes in it?"

"Finding nemo... momo" She said chuckling at the little rhyme.

"Yes... that one" Chase shouted clapping his hands.

Soon enough Chase - Momo were so involved in the movie that they didn't even notice Sharon leaving.

"Thankyou for shopping here. Please visit us again" Sharon said handling the bag to the customer.

"Savvy.. where is Mira?" Sharon asked her 19 year old employee who was busy dusting some frames.

"Storage room"

"Whats taking her so long?"

"No idea boss. She seemed kind of upset from morning"

"Upset?" Sharon frowned "Just keep a eye on the shop I would go check on her"

The storage room was dark, it was not lit by any bulb.. Sharon wondered if the bulbs are not working.

"Mira.... " she called out.

Sharon heard a quick shuffling and Mira's wavering Hummed response. She quickly turned on the lights. Mira was sitting on the small carton box and tears flowing down her cheek.

"Mira..., what happened? Why are you crying?"She asked concerned.

"Nothing" Mira...replied wiping the tears running down.

"I will not pry Mira.... but you do know you could talk to me about anything right?"

Mira was silent for few seconds before she started speaking "Its just Tony and I we had a big fight" Tony was Mira's three year long boyfriend.

"He didn't come home after our fight."

She said sniffling. Sharon was running her back in support.

"Did you call?"She asked.

"No.. I'm scared he would say it's over."

"How would you know? Talk to him."

"I'm scared... what if...what if..."

"Mira don't do this to yourself. You are stronger then this. Your life will not end just because someone you love left you. I'm sure it must be a misunderstanding. Just talk to him. If this is not working between you guys.

Its better to walk out of such relationship." Mira sniffled in response.

"Do I sound like a mad divorce woman who doesn't want to see others happy?" She asked once Mira calmed down. Mira gave a small laugh.

"Do you still believe in love after what happened?" Mira asked. No one knew the exact reason why Sharon divorced her husband except Momo but what they all know was he broke her heart.

"I do" Sharon said in a small voice.

"How?"

"My love for my husband was never fake. I loved him with everything I have got. But he was the one who fell out of love... I was heart broken for sure. But I believe someone would come along the way to tend the broken hearts. In my case it was Chase. For him i had to tend my broken heart and since then I'm loving him with all I got."

"You are so brave Sharon" she said.

"Brave?"

"Yes... Brave enough to raise a kid alone and providing for him."

Sharon just have her a warm smile "Now go wash your face and go call Tony."

Just then there was a knock on the door. "Hey Mira..Tony is here to see you." Savvy popped her head in.

"Okay... go talk to him " Sharon said.

"And Hey Sharon...if you don't start like..." Savvy said looking at her imaginary wrist watch" ... now you would probably miss Jane"

"Oh shit." Sharon said rushing to get her bag and checking the cookies.

"Will be back in a hour or two. Take care off my shop ,do not burn it of."

Savvy just scowled at her.

April was getting bored waiting for Lily. They reached their destination Ohio. A small town away from the busy hustle of Newyork city. April read about different trecking places.. different beautiful resorts and about the worlds largest light show which was organized in the city. She was super excited about it. April was waiting for Lily in the waiting area, apparently Lily's luggage got exchanged and she was busy shouting at the airways staff and management.

April glanced around looking at other people who came to receive. She saw a mother and daughter duo receiving a man..may be the father.She thought.

April turned her head from that happy scene. She was now irritated from all the waiting.

She called up her dad but his phone was switched off 'May be he is in the plane' she thought.

April sighed and went in search of Lily dragging her little suitcase. April saw a woman running frantically looking all around. It was the departure zone 'May be she is late for her flight'.

April felt as if the woman was very familiar though this is the first time she was seeing that woman but still she felt oddly familiar.

"Sharon" someone called the woman.

That woman stopped in her tracks and turned towards them. April wanted to sit and watch the woman, if Lily is done... She would come and find her.

April sat herself comfortably in one of the chair and was looking at the woman.

Sharon huffed in annoyance. She had to run to find Jane and Joe but she couldn't spot them.

"Sharon" Jane called.

Sharon smiled as soon as she located the siblings. Finally she thought.

Jane was a 5'2 short brunette. Sharon always enjoyed her humour.

"Finally" Jane said pulling Sharon into hug.

"I can't believe it's two months already"she said.

"Me neither" Jane replied.

"She is been here for long now" Joe supplied.

"Oh shut up, You." Jade said hitting him on his head. That was funny because she had to Jump in order to hit him.

"Evil woman" Joe scowled.

Sharon laughed at the duo they were always like that. Sharon pulled out the little box of cookies she packed nearly for Jane.

"Here I brought this for you"

"Are these your famous chocochip cookies?" She asked excited like a kid in the Christmas morning.

"They are" Sharon replied smiling enjoying her reaction.

"Is it me or that little girl over there is staring at us." Joe asked.

Both women turned around to look at the girl he was talking about.

Sharon felt a small tug in her heart immediately. She looks like April...her April.

'Oh Sharon you feel the same when ever you see a little girl around April's age.' Her brain scolded.

Sharon smiled warmly at the girl. The little girls eyes widened for a second for being caught.But after a second she smiled back.

"All the passengers for the Flight number 3BIC40 are asked to proceed towards the gate 3"

"That's my cue to go..Thankyou Sharon for coming to see me off. Convey my love to Chase and Momo" Jane said.

"Bye. See you again" Sharon said hugging her.

Sharon turned around to see the girl again but the little girl was going away with a tall, slender woman. May be her mother.

Sharon sighed heavily.

"What happened?" Joe asked.

Nothing Sharon mumbled. She turned back once again.

"Come I'll drop you" How asked tugging Sharon.

"What do you mean? You can't find him" Sharon shouted through her phone.

"Where did he go?" She asked again. Momo called her to inform her that Chase has been missing for half an hour now.

"What happened?" Savvy asked alerted.

"Momo can't find where Chase is... I am going home." Sharon said her panic increasing.

"I'm coming with you" savvy said.

"Close the shop and come."

Sharon didn't Stand there to listen her reply. She ran towards the nearest bus stop. Those twenty minutes of bus ride was the worst twenty minutes.

Sharon ran like flying Sikh inside her home "Did you find him?"

"No.. but Elliot said he saw him playing in the park."

Sharon didn't wait for Momo to complete. She ran towards the direction of the park. It was around 5:30 in the evening.The sun was coming down.The sky was filled with Orange colour. The birds were returning back to their nests.

Her heart pounding in her mouth. Anticipation was killing her. Where was Chase.?

"Chase"

"Chase.... where are you ?"

"Chase.." Sweat was dripping down her forehead. She remembered the same thing happening in her dream "Chase.." She called again.

She was frantically searching around.

"Chas.." She called but quit calling when she saw her baby sleeping on one of the bench, his new toy in his hand, his thumb inside his mouth, his head on the belly of the gigantic dog of Mrs.Kingsley, Bash.

"Chase.." She called out slowly. Tears flowing down her cheeks. She breathed in deeply when she saw her baby peacefully sleeping. All her fear, irritation, anger was all gone. She scooped him into her arms.

She placed butterfly kisses all over her face. She hugged him tight.

"Sharon" a deep rough voice called her. A voice Sharon can never forget in her whole life.

She turned around with Chase sleeping in her arms.

The one person she never wanted see again.

He was standing there with dark ruffled hair. First two buttons of his shirt unbuttoned. A stubble beard.

And those blue eyes....
