It was so dark. I started walking and feeling for my surroundings. As I was walking, I wind up falling into emptiness. I tried to use my wings, but I couldn't feel anything on my back. It felt like an eon before I landed on something.

I got on my hands and knees and the ground felt soft. I looked around and saw that I was on a couch. "Oh Rody, are you ready for our date night," a familiar voice said. I turned and saw that it was Bernice. She was wearing a strangle looking dress and was clinging to his arm.

He seemed so happy. "I'm glad that you're my mate baby," Rodyn said with a smirk. I don't know why, but deep down this was hurting me. I saw how they were enjoying each other's company. They walked over to the kitchen and starting making something delicious.

"Darling what's that?" Bernice asked as she was pointing at me. Rodyn faced me and his eyes squinted. I squeaked and started running towards the end of the couch. "Don't worry baby, it's only a bug," Rodyn said as he headed towards me.

I kept running when I felt something pinch the collar of my dress. I looked behind me and saw Rodyn's arm in the distance. I started struggling and ended up falling on the floor. I rubbed my back and looked up. What I saw next horrified me.

I saw the bottom of Rodyn's shoe hovering over me. "No, Rodyn, don't, please, " I cried as I started running away from him. I saw his foot coming down and everything went black. "Alina wake up, Alina"

I started opening my eyes and I was staring at two huge blue ones. I squeaked and started moving backwards. I would of fell when one of Rodyn's fingers pinned me down. I didn't even realize that I was on his hand.

"," Rodyn cooed as he started rubbing my head. Surprisingly, I felt calmer and safer. A minute passed by and Rodyn managed to sit up in bed. He lifted me up to his face which made me flinch. He shushed me again and gave me soft kisses on my head.

"," he asked me with concern in his eyes. I nodded and him a smile. "," he said with a smirk. He removed the covers and got out of bed. Rodyn walked to his dresser and deposited me onto it.

I saw him rummage through the draws and pulled out some clothes. He looked at me and said, "". I nodded and saw him go into the bathroom. I looked through my pile of clothes and found the perfect outfit to wear.

When I finished putting on my dress, I started thinking about the dream I had from last night. I still wonder why Rodyn wasn't a mate to Bernice and questioning Rodyn being my mate. "," Rodyn said. I didn't and even notice his presents.

"Thank you", I said while keeping my head down. I heard him sigh and felt his fingers wrap around me. ","Rodyn said as he put me into his chest pocket. We left the room and started walking down the hall.

It didn't take too long for us to reach the dinning room. I could smell some fruit and wheat which caused my mouth to water. Before I know it, I felt two fingers pinch my waist. Rodyn pulled me out of his chest pocket and set me down on the table.

I saw that the table was filled with large amounts of food and a variety of it. "," Rodyn said as he gave me a nudge with his index finger. I walked over to a bowl that had small slices of fruit in it. I tried to jump and grab the end of the bowl, but I couldn't reach it.

I felt something cold hit the back of my legs and caused me to fall backwards onto a cold surface. I was soon hoisted up into the air and above the bowl of sliced fruit. The thing I was sitting on tilted which caused me to fall into the bowl.

I looked up and saw that the thing I was sitting on was a spoon. "," Rodyn said. I nodded and grabbed a piece on an apple. As I bit into it I realized something. I was watching Rodyn eat and thought, Why do I feel so attracted to him?
