After the meeting with Daunte and he told us to leave, he stops me. "Oliver, Stay?" I turn back towards him and nods. I sit down, he does the same and then he asks me,

"What's been going on?" I look at him confused. "What do you mean?" I ask.

He breaths in. "Oliver, I might be your boss but I'm also your friend and I have seen that you been lacking on your attacks lately. Want to tell me, what's going on?"

Its true, I have been slacking and off my game because I been worried about Keyona and her knowing about the mafia shit. I havent mentioned it to Daunte because I know he wont like it. But I guess I have to tell him the truth. I take a deep breath, "It's my sister. She hasn't spoken to me in a month because..... because she found-" I was cut off with my phone ringing. I look at it and answers it quickly seeing Nova name pop up.

"Hello?" I said.

"Oliver, something happened!" She starts crying on the phone.

"Whats going on? Are you okay?" I swear if Leo did anything to her, I'll kill him.

"Its not me. Key-Keyona." She stuttered and couldnt stop crying.

When she said Keyona name, I jumps out my seat and ran out the door.

"Keyona what? Nova ANSWER ME! WHAT HAPPEN TO MY SISTER!" I yelled.

"I-I I Dont K-know." She said and then I heard a the phone drop but a few seconds later, I heard someone pick it up and it was a guy.

"Hello?" He said.

"WHO IS THIS? WHERE IS MY SISTER?!" I yelled at him.

The guy starts talking. "I dont know. I was walking back from the market. When I heard someone yelling help in the ice-cream shop. I came in and seen the girl you just talked to, holding another girl. The girl is passed out and bleeding. I dont know where since theres alot of blood on her pants and stomach. I checked for a pulse and I feel one. I called for help and the ambulance should be here any second."

As soon as I was about to speak, I head a lot of footsteps and movement in the back.

"Whats going on!" I yelled through the phone.

"The medic is here and they are checking on both of the girls. The one you talk to isn't doing well but they are taking the other on a stretcher to the hospital I think." He says.

"Can you please go ask one of them, please?" I beg. I hear a quiet okay, hold on before him talking to someone.

Someone gets on the phone but it's someone else this time.

"Hello, Sir?"

"Yeah. I'm here."

"The guy you were talking to said you know the two young ladies. Is that true." He asks.

"Yes I do. The one that was passed out and bleeding is my sister Kevion Martinez and the one that was with her is my cousin Nova Carter." I said. "I need to know what's going on and what hospital are you taking them!" I yelled at him.

"We don't know what's going on right now. All we know is that your sister lost a lot of blood and is currently unconscious We are taking her to the nearest hospital which is St.Clairs. If you go through the emergency room, and ask for her, Im sure the nurse will be able to help and give you more info." He said and I give him a quick thanks and hang up.

I call Josie and then Leo and by the time Im dont talking to them, I arrived at the hospital and ran towards the desk asking for my sister.

"My sister Keyona Martinez was just brought in by ambulance. Where is the doctor?!" I asked in a worried tone.

She typed on the computer and read something before she looked at me. "It looks like she is currently in surgery, if you want to wait in the waiting room, a doctor will be out to talk to you soon." I nod at her and head to the waiting room. I sit in the chair with my head in my hands and I feel tears coming down.

"Oliver?" I look up and see Josie and Leo standing there. Leo runs up to me and wraps his arms around me and that was it, I broke down.

"What happened?" He asked an I couldnt answer. I sit and cry in his arms. "Its all my fault. She hates me and I havent been there for her."

"Hey its not your fault or anybody else fault." A few minutes later I hear Josie tell Leo that she was in surgery.

After a while in walks in Santi, Leo, Ric, Kevion and few other people. Leo lets me go and Josies hugs me. I look up and see him running to Nova and wraps his arms around her and thats when I see her break. I have seen Nova cry but never this hard. She trying to explain but she cant.

"I-I dont know what happened. I-I walk-ed in an an she was just laying th-there. Its all my f-fault. I woke up l-late. I wasnt th-there." She falls to her knees and Leo tells her the same thing he told me a half an hour ago. "No, its not your fault. Things happened and we cant control it. Stop blaming yourself. Im sure a doctor will be out here any minute, telling us she will be fine." He says, trying to calm her down. I cant let her blame herself. I kiss Josie on her head before I let her go and walk towards Nova.

I tap Leo shoulder and he lets her go and I pull her into me. I rub her head and she looks up at me. She looked shocked and started apologizing.

"Im soo-sooo sorry. Im so sorry, Oliver." She clung to me tightly.

"Hey.... Shh.....Hey Nova, its not your fault. She will be fine." I tell her, because its not. I will not let her take the blame when I know its my fault. I shouldnt have let her out my sight and I shouldnt have lied to her face.

We all sat there for hours, me pacing back and forths around the waiting room. Its been hours and a doctor still havent came out.

"Whats taking so fucking long!" Josie gets up and hugs me. "They wil come soon and let you know whats going on. Sit down." She grabs my hand and leads me to an empty chair next to her. I sit down an wait about 30 more minutes before a doctor finally arrives.

"Family for Keyona Martinez." We all quickly hopped up and I ran to the doctor. "Im her brother. Is she okay?"

He takes a deep breath. "I cant tell you everything but I can tell you that she lost alot of blood so thats what caused her to pass out. We were able to stop the bleeding and she is now resting. Ill take you to her if you would like but only two people at a time are allowed."

I nod my head and look at Kevion who is just sitting there there an havent said nothing. I know his heart is broken. This is his twin. He looks at me for a second and then looks at nova and points to her. I nod at him and look at Nova. "Lets go Nova." She gets up quickly, grabbing my hand and we follow the doctor.

We walked down the hall through some double doors and stop at red door. The doc opens the door and I walk in first, but quickly stop in my tracks when my eyes land on her.

She laying there, in a hospital bed, her face is pale and she look so tiny. I cant look at her like this, I have to get out of there. I leave the room and run out towards the waiting room and pass everybody. I hear people yelling my name but I cant. I walk outside the doors and see Leo on the phone. He sees me and hangs ups. I dont go towards him, I go the opposite way and hop in my car and drive to somewhere she loves. I drive to the cave.

I speed pass cars and over the limit. I dont care, I need to go somewhere else besides that room.

Once I arrive, I walk in and drop to my knees.

"Im so sorry Keyona. I dont understand what happened and why I lied but i promise i will tell you everything when you wake up. Im sorry I couldnt stay, I couldnt see you like that. Its all my fault."

I dont know how long I was there for but I do know It was for a long time.

After the doctor took Nova and Leo to Keyonas room, I told everyone I need to make a call and left out the waiting room and out the sliding doors, stepping outside. I pull out my phone and dialed Daunte number.

He answers on the first ring. "Is she okay?!" He quickly asks. "Is she hurt? Was she shot, beaten?" He kept asking questions.

"Danute, shut up will you and I will fucking tell you." I yell at him through the phone. I understand he my boss and worried but I cant fucking answer him if he doesnt shut up and listen. But he does and I explain to him what the doc said.

"So Nova is fine, it was Keyona who was hurt. Nova found her unconscious and bleeding. We dont know what happened, all we know is that she lost alot of blood and had to have surgery. We dont know what kind because the doctor wont tell us, but all I know is that she will be out for a few days most likely since she lost alot of blood."

It was silent for awhile until he spoke. "Have you seen her yet?"

"I havent. Doctor said only two at a time. Nova and Oliver went in just a bit ago, I was going to go next and see-" I stopped talking when I seen Oliver running towards his car.

"OLIVER!....OLIVER!" I yelled but he just drove off.

"Whats happening?" I hear Daunte say.

"I dont know. Oliver just drove off. I think he couldnt take seeing her like that or something. Im going to try and call him and if he dont answer im going to let him be. But I need to check on Nova, she blaming herself because she woke up late this morning." I told him.

"Make sure you let me know when everyone is gone so I can see her, please Leo?" He begs.

"Yeah of course. I got to go. My girl needs me." I hung up and called Oliver but it went straight to voicemail. I placed my phone back in my pocket and walked back in to see everyone gathering their things.

I see Santi and stop him, "Where is everyone going?"

"Everyone already went and seen her. Theres only about 15 minutes left of visiting hour. Nova wont leave her side." We talked for another minute and he told me how to get back to her room.

I walked in and Nova was laying with her head on the bed next to Keyona legs and her holding her hand. I cant see Nova like this.

This morning when she told me she loved me, I wanted to tell her it back but she left. I wanted to chase her but I didnt and Im glad I didnt because any second or minute later, something worse could of happened to Keyona.

Nova has brighten my life up. The moment I first saw her at the airport, I knew she had to be mine. The way her eyes shined bright when she smile or the way she warmed my body by a single touch. But seeing her like this, her eyes dont shine and her touch feel like is dying. I know she blames herself but its not her fault and If I have to keep reminding her until Keyona wakes up and tells her then I will.

I sit in the hallway and wait for her her to come out. A few minutes later she does.

"Im ready to go Leo, but you have to bring me right back here in the morning, please?" She begged me. I get up and grab her waist and pull her to me. Her head lands on my chest. "Okay baby. Lets go home."

We head out and get in the car. Its silent for a while.

"Did you call him?" She asked and I look at her for a second.

"Who babe?" I grab her hand. "Dante." She says. We pull up to a red light and I stop the car. I look at her and she is staring out the window.

"You know she misses him." I take a deep breath. "Yeah, I did, because he loves her. Even though he doesnt know it yet. He misses her too."
