As I sit here in this conference room, waiting for a meeting to start that Daunte called for this morning, Im trying to focus but it justs running 100mph about whats been going on lately. Its been days since I seen Keyona and Kevion. Daunte have been having me work alot and its cutting into my time with them. But I get it, we have someone trying to backstab us and we cant have that. Kevion has been to himself and hanging out with some of the mafia guys at the club. Of course, I told them that he dont know and they better not mention anything to him or they will have to deal with me.

I know I should just tell them but I cant. Josie tells me that I need to because it will just cause us problems later on and possibly hurt our sibling relationship, which I know shes right about but I still cant tell them.

Keyona and Nova has fully moved in with Josie and Kevion has moved into my guest room, that is now his. I dont know what it is but when I do have time to spare with Keyona, she just gives me this cold shoulder. Not like a angry one but a hurt one and I dont understand why. I dont know what has caused her to shut me out but its hurting me. She my princess and we never had any bad blood between us and I know when she acts like this, something is really bothering her.

I feel a hand on my shoulder and it made me jump slightly. I turn around and see Sofia.

"You okay?" She asks. I nod my head, "Just a lot on my mind." She smiled and then looked toward the double doors when she heard a click and doors opening. In walks Daunte, Santi, Leo, Matteo and a few other men.

Daunte head straight toward the head seat where Santi sat to his left, followed by me then Sofia and then Andy. Mateo sat to his right with Leo next to him and followed by Steve and Walter. There was also a few of his loyal men standing around.

He clears his throat. "So it seems like Rodriguez have been betraying us. We literally just agreed to a deal and he already thinks he can fuck us over. He doesn't think we know and I want to keep it that way."

"What you think?" Matteo asked.

"Give him exactly what he wants." Daunte said.

We started talking about the plan and throwing different ideas out. After about three hours and a successful plan, that we all agreed on, he told us to get out.

We all got up, leaving.

"Oliver?" I stopped in my tracks and turn towards him.

"Yes Boss?"

"How is your sister?" I looked at him for a second. Why the fuck would he be asking how my sister is? He ain't never met her.

"Excuse me?" I asked confused.

"How is your sister?" He asked calmly but if I was confused, it sounded like he had a little worried tone in your voice.

"I don't know what you mean." I told him.

He looked at me for a second. "Leo said Nova told him she has been acting weird lately."

I looked at him for a second. So it was Leo who brung him up the idea to ask about my sister.

"She been giving me the cold shoulder and I don't know what's it about but something has been bothering her. I want to asked But I'm not going to. She will talk to me when she is ready. " I said.

He nodded his head. Looking down at the papers in front of him. "Do you need some time off?"

I looked at him for a second.

"To deal with the issue with your sister?" He said. I nodded my head. Even though he can't see me.

"Maybe in a few days since she won't have no time off until next week." I said as his eyes moved from the papers and looked at me.

"She found a job?" He asked and I looked at him confused for a second before I nodded my head.

"Yeah at this little ice cream shop in the market. She likes it and said the old man that owns it, wife died and been having a hard time so she decided to help out there." I explained.

My sister always wore her heart on her sleeve. She always puts others before herself. She still cares for others even when they disappointed or hurt her.

"Cool. Just let me know when you want time off. Just make sure it's not during the meets up or deals. Understand?" He says and I nod my head.

"You may leave." After he said that, I turned and walked out the doors. I start heading back to my car when I see Matteo and Leo arguing.

"Why would you not want to go visit her grave? It's your anniversary!" Leo yelled.

"Leo, me and Maria have plans to go to an event that day."

"Maria, Maria, Maria. That's all you worry about! Maria, LaMina and Sofia! What about me?!" He said with his fists balled up.

"Leo, what are you talking about?! I've always been there for you! Nothing has changed!" Matteo said, trying to pull Leo into a hug but Leo pushed him away.

"Everything has changed! Maria may have raised me since I was 10 but she isn't my real mom! I think you keep forgetting that!" Leo said, angrily.

"You have no right to talk about her like that! She took care of you, she is your mother! You will show her some respect! Now tell me where is this all coming from, son." He asked Leo.

Leo just shook his head. "I haven't been your child in a long time. You only paid attention to your 'girls'. You got remarried and forgot all about the only one who should truly matter. You promised me that you would never let anybody stop you from seeing her. You promised me when you got married. Now look, you are ditching from seeing my mother with me because Maria wants you to go to an event with her. I may have not remember her that much since she died when I was just a child, but I will never let anybody change me. Unlike you." He spotted at his father.

"This is just the first time I won't be able to see her." Matteo said.

"Ninth." Leo said.

"What? Matteo asked.

"This will be the ninth time you missed out on seeing her." He said quietly. With his fists balled up. Matteo looked at him for a second.

"That's not true." Matteo said with a deep breath.

"Yes it is. I remember every single time you canceled. I have only asked for one thing. One single thing. I don't ask you for money, I don't ask you to pay my bills or anything. I have only asked you to come see her with me on your anniversary with her, my birthday and her birthday. That all." He said.

"I have went with you every time Leo!!!" Matteo yelled at him.

"Let me remind you then. You canceled on me when I wanted to go for my birthday last year because the time I wanted to go, Maria had a lunch planned for y'all with her friends and their husbands. Or the time, you forgot about her birthday because Sofia was going to her prom and you wanted to be with her and Maria all day, making sure she got everything her little heart desired. Ohhh, and lets not forget that time when I asked you a week ahead and you end up canceling on me because Maria wanted to go to Paris for a fashion show. Or the time-"

Matteo raised his hands up with a frown. "I get it. I get it. I'm sorry Leo. It's just I can't today because..." he trails off.

"Because Maria and you have an event to attend." He took a deep breath. "You know what, I don't give a fuck anymore. Just like you don't. I'm going to go to the house and grab the rest of my shit." He tried to walk off but Matteo grabbed him. "What do you mean the rest of your stuff?" He asked confusedly.

Leo snatched his arm away from him. "Exactly what I mean. I haven't even been home for over a week. I been moving with to my friend with my girlfriend. This just shows me how much I mean to you." He shakes his head. "Don't come see my mother anymore. It's not like you give a fuck about her anymore." He walks over to my car and stands there. I see Matteo standing there with his eyes wide. He turns around and sees me and I just shake my head at him and head towards Leo.

Once I unlocked my car, Leo quickly hopped in, slamming the door. I hop in the drivers seat and put my keys in the ignition. I look over to Leo and I see his eyes watering.

"You okay man?" I asked. He doesn't say anything. Telling me he is not okay and that he doesn't want to talk about it.

"I'm here for you if you need to talk." I tell him and put my car in drive and head out to Jose's house. The car ride is quiet and there's so much anger that he has.

We finally arrive at Josies house. I park the car and he get out without a word and walks right through the front door and up the stairs. Josie stands there and looks before she turns and looks at me when I finally walked into the door. She gives me a kiss and points at the stairs "What's going on?"

I shake my head at her. "Matteo canceled on him to see his mom again." She folded her arms, "Again?" I just nod my head. She shakes her head and looks back up the stairs with a sad look in her eyes. I pull her into a hug and kiss her head.

We understand whats going on because those times Matteo canceled on him, Josie and I went with him. We went for support to fill that void that Matteo have been planting. I understood everything Leo was saying to his father because it was true. Once Matteo got married, he did abandon Leo. I have been here for almost 5 years now and I have know Leo for that long. I see the pain the his father has caused him when he has canceled. But Matteo doesn't see it.

Don't get me wrong, I love Maria. She is a nice lady but I see how she pulls Matteo away from Leo to spend more time with her and her girls. LaMina is biologically Matteos daughter and Leo's half sister. But sometimes I think Matteo forgets about Leo.

"Oliver?" I look at Josie. "Should we talk to him?" She asked with a worried sad look on her face. I shake my head. "I don't think so. I think he needs time to himself. He actually confronted Matteo this time and they got in a huge argument outside Dauntes office." She looks up at the stairs again and then back at me before nodding.

We started to walk to her room when I hear the door open and look behind me to see Nova and Keyona walking in the front door.

Keyona stops in her tracks when her eyes locks with mine. She turns her head and walks towards the kitchen, and out of sight.

I take a deep breath and feel a hand on my shoulder. "She still not talking to you?" Josie asked and I couldnt even replie. I just nodded my head.

"You need to go talk to her, Oli. Try and figure out whats going on with her." Josie said. I take another deep breath before I nodded my head and walk towards the kitchen.

I walk in and I see Keyona sitting on the island with a cup of tea in her hand. I walk to the other side and sit across from her. She tries to get up but I grab her hand.

"Please? Talk to me Keyona. I dont know what I did to deserve this but I cant take it anymore. Please?" I begged her and she just took a deep breath and sat back down. It was silent for a moment before I seen a tear fall down her cheek and she looked at me in my eyes.

"You have always been there for me. I have always looked up to you." She took another deep breath. "I rememeber when I had my first secret boyfriend at 18. I rememeber how he hurt me because I wouldnt have sex with him so he cheated on me. You always told me, 'dont give up my heart and treasure unless someone worked to get there and earns it.' I rememeber how upset you were when you found out he hurt me and beat him to a pump. But the thing I rememeber the most was after you beat him, you told me 'never to lie and keep secrets from you because all you want to do is protect me.' You told me 'You would NEVER lie or keep secrets from me, no matter what it is.' So what I dont understand is how you can sit there for months, no, actually years and lie to my face. I understand mom, dad and everyone else but why me."

I looked at her for a second. I couldnt say anything. I had no idea what she was talking about. I knew she didnt know about me and the mafia. So I had no idea.

"What do you mean? I havent lied to-" She held her hand up stopping me from talking and I looked at her confused.

"So you arent keeping anything from me Oliver?" She asked with a tear in her eye. "You havent been lying to me?"

I looked at her for a second. She couldnt know. She cant know. I took a deep breath and shook my head.

"I cant believe this." She shook her head and slammed her hand on the table, getting up quickly where her chair squeaks with the push.

"You just looked me in the eyes and lied to me. It looked so easy Oliver. Its crazy because for a second, I actually believed you. Tell Josie Ill be in a hotel for awhile. Also when you want to admit me the truth, then I might talk to you but for now, I have nothing to say to you and I dont want to talk to you, ." With that she up and left out the kitchen not looking back, leaving me in a daze with welled eyes.

What did she just call me?
