He knew it was coming; Jake, in his own twisted way, awaited the moment the two would be in their shared quarters, once again. He wanted to feel something other than hungry kisses and hair pulls. Though he wasn't against any of that, and never would he turn them down, his body just craved and begged for something devilish and out of the norm he knew.

Caiden had followed the boy up the stairs and towards the corridor, reaching the wooden door. This would be their last night at the lake house, and he was ready to create a single memory which would last a bit longer than one night.

He didn't need to say a word; Jake watched the gaze Caiden had, as the two walked into their communal space. His eyes were dark, seductive, and aggressive, in the sexiest way possible.

Jake locked the door, before being pulled by his hair into a starving kiss. Jake responded with a groan, letting their lips move sloppily. Before making their way towards the bed, Caiden flipped the two, so Jake would be walking backwards.

The curly haired lad ended up on the bed, his hands roaming freely on Caiden's torso, covered by the thin layer of fabric he wore.

"This is how it's going to go," Caiden rasped, his voice low and deep. Jake pushed himself back, reaching the headboard, while Caiden hovered over him, a hand still pulling on his curls. "You don't get a say in any of this; I get to paint on your skin and you get to relax."

"Yes sir," Jake's smirk didn't go unnoticed by the raven haired boy, pulling a bit harder on his curls, for fun.

He had no intention of moving, but something underneath Jake startled him awake; he could feel the pillow beneath him breathing in rhythmic beats, matching his own. Jake took a look to his left and then his right, noticing his head had somehow ended up on the raven haired lad's chest.

Jake wasn't certain how this occurred, or when, as the two fell asleep facing opposite directions, and on opposite sides of the bed. Taking several slow, deep breaths, Jake attempted to get up, only to realize a strong arm had him tied in.

Stupid Caiden.

Why had he taken him hostage, and why did his breath smell so bad?

"You done?" Caiden's amused smile shook Jake out of his head and back to the reality of the two cuddling.

"I did nothing, so I can't be done," Jake rolled his eyes, surrendering himself to the walking bicep.

"You're trying to break free, which is fine and all, but your leg in between my legs isn't really helping the obvious issue we already wake up with," Caiden propped himself up by his elbows, trying to push the unwanted leg away.

An apologetic smile graced the curly haired boy's lips, pulling away from Caiden. The view was magnificent from where he was standing, now; Caiden's abs were like a museum, you wanted to touch everything around you, even if it meant you could break your hands on the glass.

"Keep looking at me that way and the marks won't be the only thing you'll be wearing," Caiden spoke, getting off of the bed to stretch out his muscles.

If this trip utterly sucked, Jake was sure that moment right there saved it.

Once out of his trance, Jake grabbed his phone, seeing the few messages left by Taylor. The main one was that the others already began driving back, since they were on some committee for some shit and needed to be back in time. The others were full of apologies and how they would make it up to him; ice cream and actually allow him to study.

"Looks like it's just us two, Caiden," Jake spoke, locking his phone.

His eyes studied Caiden's body, taking in every dent and curve, every line, every single movement, every random freckle and beauty mark. Caiden was more beautiful than any person Jake had ever laid eyes on.

"You up for something a bit out of the way?" Jake questioned, grabbing everything he had brought and began packing.

"Sure, Jake. I'm never in a hurry to get back to school," Caiden laughed, packing his things, as well.

"Wait, first, are you afraid of water?" Jake asked, knowing if he was there would be no point in any of this.

"I love being wet," Caiden replied with a shrug.

"That is not what I asked, dumbass," Jake rubbed on his temples in playful annoyance.

"Nope. Not scared of water," Caiden shook his head, his tousled locks rocking side to side.

"Cool; I'll drive us somewhere fun. We can come back here after to shower," Jake smiled, grabbing a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, before heading to the bathroom to start his day.

"Is this where you kill me? Because I'm not in the mood to die, today," Caiden's eyes were focused on the long road the two had been on for the past forty minutes; the only thing surrounding the two were forests and dirt roads.

"Nah, that's tomorrow's thing," Jake laughed, making a left towards another strange road.

"Well, I'll see if it fits into my schedule."

"Yes, you wouldn't want to keep Chelsea and Tiffany waiting."

"Don't think I've fucked a Chelsea before; I could be wrong, though. I'd have to ask Ava. She sure knows more than I do."

Jake knew the two were just playing around, but for some reason his heart ached at the thought of someone else with their nails down his back.

He wasn't his anything, but Jake felt secretly possessive, either way.

It didn't take long before Jake parked the SUV, looking towards the boy sitting in the passenger seat. Caiden's eyes read confusion and fear, following the curly haired lad out of the car and through a trail.

Several moments passed, and Jake came to a halt, with Caiden mimicking his movements. Caiden ran out of ways to be amazed and astounded by the views he had encountered.

The two were on an edge of a cliff, strong winds causing the leaves of the trees to dance, wildly. The sun was out, but not as strong as it had been the day before. Clouds were scarce and almost invisible.

Looking down, Caiden was met with a stage right out of a film; this place was magical, and was almost surreal. Before them was a waterfall glistening against the rocks, engulfed with greenery. Dolphins were jumping about, while other fish splashed away.

"We got two choices; we can continue the walk down, or we take a small walk through there, and jump in. It won't be that high," Jake spoke, pointing to his right.

"What's a better view?" Caiden questioned, thinking sunset would be the perfect time to come here.

"Walking down," Jake responded, continuing the trail for about ten more minutes with Caiden beside him.

The pair were several feet away from what they had experienced to be a ways away not even ten minutes prior. Caiden kept cursing under his breath in awe of everything around him.

"How do you know of this place?" Caiden expected another story of his family and Taylor's, and was more than ready to listen to the curly haired lad speak with the passion he had.

"I got mad at Taylor one day over something dumb; She didn't wanna get me this guy's number from the arcade, so I took my car and just drove. This was when we just got our licenses; we were dumb teens," Jake laughed, parking himself in front of a tree.

"Was he really that cute? Why didn't she get you his number?" Caiden quizzed, taking a seat by Jake.

"He was pretty; he had blue eyes and green hair," Jake remembered Vince from that one time, while he had been flirting with Chris. "She told me he was straight, but something told me she was wrong."

"Was he?" Caiden asked, amused by the fight the two had.

"Yes, but that's besides the point," Jake laughed, putting his phone down and slipping off the light blue shirt he had on.

Caiden's lips curled into a smirk, seeing the bruise covered torso displayed before him; the art on Jake. It was some of his best work. At least he thought so.

Caiden was right behind him, slipping off the black t he had been wearing, making their way towards the water. The water was cold, but not uncomfortably so. The two entered, swimming towards the waterfall.

"Do the others know about this place?" Caiden asked, finding a place to relax his arms by the fall.

"Taylor does; she knows everything about me. The others, not yet."

"So why show me?"

"I wanted to come back, and felt bad leaving you alone," Jake shrugged in reply.

"Whatever you say, King Jake."

"Exactly, kitten."

Stolen glances were shared through the car ride back to Brandon, as the raven haired boy drove with Jake beside him. Landon had elected to go with Kai and the others, as to spend more time with him.

Jake wasn't sure how tomorrow would be, or even that night, as they would each return to their normal lives. He was supposed to be focusing on his homework and the book he had opened quite some time ago, but his thoughts kept wandering over to the boy sitting beside him; to the boy wearing a pair of grey joggers and an open button down shirt, showing off every curve of his very toned abs.

Caiden had to have known Jake was slowly melting, recalling the events of the night before, and how easily he allowed the raven haired lad to leave marks throughout his body. His hand absentmindedly would trace the only mark which was visible; the one on his neck.

Caiden had promised to solely bite throughout his chest, leaving the bruises for the pair of them, but when things got going, rules flew out the window. Maybe Caiden didn't mind bruising the other boy where it could have been seen because he actually felt something for him, or maybe it was just a spur of the moment thing.

"Are you in a hurry to go back?" Caiden randomly questioned, as the two stopped at a gas station.

"I have a project due, but I think I have some time. Why?" Jake responded, his eyes still trying and failing miserably to concentrate on something other than how pretty the raven haired boy would look all bruised up.

"Wanna get a milkshake or something? I'm craving something sweet, and I don't think I can have you in public," Caiden replied, as normal as ever.

"Who said I would let you have me?" Jake countered, looking up at chocolate brown eyes, as they began their journey, once again.

"The marks on your body," Caiden pointed his index finger on the boy beside him.

Jake wanted to counter with a smartass comment, but was left speechless and laughing at how honest the boy next to him was.

"A milkshake sounds good, but we're about thirty minutes away. Why don't we just go to the diner by the exit?" Jake responded with a question, his mind overthinking the possibility of Caiden not wanting to be seen with him, or anything illogical his thoughts could create.

"Okay, then I have to make a call," Caiden nodded, dialing away on his phone, while at a stop light.

The phone rang three times, before a feminine voice answered; Caiden had the phone connected to the SUV's bluetooth, as he didn't want to be holding the phone while driving.

"CAIDEN!" Jake had thought he would be calling a family member, so he kept quiet, jotting some notes into his notebook.

"Wait, call Li," Caiden spoke, awaiting for his friend to conference their other friend in.

"I'm never drinking again," Caiden burst into laughter, listening to the first thing Eli said.

"Dude, it's like almost five, how are you still hung over?" Ava sounded confused, but she knew with Eli there was always something unusual.

Jake couldn't help but join in on the laughter, listening to the conversation echoing through the vehicle.

"Who are you with, dude?" Ava asked, curiosity dressed in her tone.

"I drank last night, because some dude I met at the wedding wanted to meet up, and I don't know, but he was just boring so we didn't hook up; and I fell asleep late playing some old ass video game with another cousin of mine," Eli's voice was groggy and deep, and that usually would instantly turn Jake on, but for some reason, it did nothing for him.

Maybe because the boy sitting beside him was some sort of Adonis.

"I have a new friend, Jake, with me," Caiden responded to Ava, before answering Eli, "Dude, you are a mess; get back to Brandon so we can meet up for a milkshake."

"I'm down; I wanna meet a new friend. Y'all are starting to bore me," Ava cackled as she responded.

"Fine, but it's your turn to pay," Eli said, hanging up the call.

"They have way too much personality to be friends with you," Jake shook his head, stating a thought.

"I have personality," Caiden defended, getting off at the exit.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night, princess," Jake chuckled, patting his arm.
