"Stop messing with it!" Star reprimanded, smacking [Y/N]'s hand. [Y/N] sighed in nervousness.
"Sorry. I just, I'm so nervous. I've never done this before." She said. Today was the day. June 10th, 1889. Today was the day that [Y/N was getting married to her boys. Lucy chuckled, sitting on a stool.
"Don't worry hun. I know how nervous you can get on your wedding day. I've been there before." She said. Lucy was gently pulling at the skirt of [Y/N]'s wedding dress.
Star was putting the finishing touches to [Y/N]'s hair.

[Y/N] smiled softly.
"I honestly never imagined that I would get married. I mean, I've always imagined what my wedding day would be like, ever since I was a little girl, but, ever since Max had adopted me, I thought those dreams would never happen. He always told me that vampires could never marry." She said. Lucy looked up at the girl and sighed, taking [Y/N]'s hands, making her look at the woman. Lucy had become a mother figure to [Y/N], something she cherished with all her undead heart.
"[Y/N], Max isn't here anymore. He can't tell you, or the boys what to do anymore." She said, smiling at the girl. Tears came to [Y/N]'s eyes. She closed her eyes, holding the tears back. She opened her eyes and gently squeezed Lucy's hands.
"Thank you, Lucy." She said. A knock sounded at the door. Lucy stood up, straightening out her dress. When they had gone dress shopping, [Y/N], Lucy and Star had agreed on the two wearing red, strapless dresses.
"Who is it?" Lucy called, opening the door slightly. She smiled, recognizing the faces of her sons and their friends. She opened the door wider. "Michael, Sam, Edgar, Allan, please, come in." Lucy said, beckoning the boys in. Michael smiled and made his way over to his girlfriend.
"You look beautiful." He said, pressing a kiss to Star's cheek. He avoided her lips, as to not ruin her lipstick. Star blushed lightly and smiled.
"Thank you. You clean up very well." She said. Michael wore a blue-gray suit and pants, a white undershirt and a black tie. Sam, Edgar and Allan all wore black suits and ties. Sam looked at [Y/N] and smiled.
"You look beautiful, [Y/N]." He said. [Y/N] smiled and walked over to the boy, pulling him into a hug.
"Thank you, Sam. You don't look too bad yourself." She said, gently straightening his suit. Sam blushed lightly. Lucy smiled at the interaction between her son and the girl. She looked at Edgar and Allan.
"Is it almost time?" She asked. Edgar nodded, trying to look stoic.
"Yes. It's almost time." He said. Lucy nodded. She looked at [Y/N].
"We'll see you there." She said, walking over and pulling [Y/N] into a hug. [Y/N] returned the hug and nodded.

"Alright." She said. Pulling away from the hug, Lucy brushed some unshed tears from her eyes. Though [Y/N] wasn't really her daughter, she still felt as if she were giving away her own daughter to the loves of her undead life. Star walked over and took [Y/N]'s hand, squeezing it in reassurance. She left with Lucy and the boys. Michael looked at [Y/N].
"You ready?" He asked. [Y/N] let out a shaky sigh, grabbing a bouquet of white roses.
"Ready as I'll ever be." She said. With that, the two of them left.

"David, you're going to burn a hole into the ground if you stare at it for too long." Dwayne said. The four vampires were sitting in foldable lawn chairs set up outside the entrance of their cave. David, his hands folded, his chin resting on them, glanced at the other male. David sighed, lowering his hands to rest upon his legs.
"You can't tell me that you're not nervous either, Dwayne." David said. Dwayne chuckled and shook his head.
"I never said that." He said. Paul smirked at David.
"Oh, what's that I hear? Is the great and powerful David Powers nervous?" Paul teased. David glared at the male. David and Dwayne were wearing black suits with white undershirts and black ties. Paul was also wearing a black suit and a white undershirt, but no tie. Two of the buttons of his shirt were undone, exposing his chest lightly. His hair was still left in its usual rock and roll style. Marko, however, was wearing a shirt with a suit print on it. He had cut the shirt so that it was a cop top, making him feel more comfortable. He was wearing a black jacket over it. He wore some black pants. His signature fingerless gloves were over his hands. Marko smiled and squirmed in his seat.
"Oh, I can't wait to see our Baby in a white dress! I bet she is going to look beautiful!" Marko said. Grandpa Emerson glanced down at his pocket watch. He sighed and stood up.
"Get ready, boys. It's almost time." He said. The boys all got up from the chairs, hearing the familiar roar of four motorbikes. The boys watched as Edgar, Allan and Sam rode up, Lucy riding on the back of Sam's bike. Surprisingly, Lucy's dress, and Star's dress hadn't gotten torn up from the ride from the Emerson house to Hudson's Bluff. The three boys stopped their motorbikes, Sam helping Lucy off and Edgar helping Star off. The three boys and the two ladies walked up the white fabric that acted as the isle, taking their respective places along the makeshift alter. The last motor bike to arrive was Michael, [Y/N] sitting on the back. The boys' breath caught in their throats, seeing [Y/N] in the white dress. Michael stopped his motorbike and got off before helping [Y/N]. Since [Y/N] had no family to walk her down the isle, Michael had volunteered to walk her. He held his arm out, which [Y/N] gratefully took. Her gaze fell upon her four boys. She bit back a chuckle at Marko's outfit. It honestly suited him very well. A [Y/N] got closer and closer, her nerves of worry turned into nerves of excitement. This was really happening. The day she had dreamed about since she was a child was finally happening. Michael left her at the alter with her boys, walking over to sit in the one of the lawn chairs. Since the Emersons and the Frogs were really the only people [Y/N] and the boys knew, there wasn't very many seats. Grandpa, who was acting as the priest who would initiate the wedding between the five vampires, cleared his throat. [Y/N] was standing in the middle, David and Dwayne standing to her right, and Marko and Paul standing to her left.

"Dearly beloved, and departed," Grandpa said, gaining some chuckles from the people around him. "We are gathered here tonight to witness the union between these five lovers. [Y/N] [L/N], David Powers, Dwayne Kennedy, Paul James and Marko Austin. The grooms will recite their vows." Grandpa said. The boys turned to [Y/N], David taking his lady's hand in his. Dwayne had written the vows for all of them, Dwayne being the best with words. The four deciding they would share one vow, David speaking for all of them.
"[Y/N]," he let out a shaky sigh. "We never thought this day would come. The day when we would find our mate. Our one and only. We never thought we would all fall in love with the same, beautiful, strong and kind woman, yet here we are." David said. [Y/N]'s lips trembled, trying to keep her tears at bay. "When Max brought you to our cave all those years ago, we knew, you were the one. You have been our rock. Our sun and our moon. You have protected us through so many hardships, and in return, we have done our best to protect you." David said. "With these words, with this vow, we swear with all that we are, that we will continue to protect you, till our last breaths or until the world ends." David vowed, speaking for the three boys that were with him, sharing in this special moment. [Y/N] sniffed and looked down. Grandpa smiled.
"The bride will now share her vows." He said. [Y/N] sniffed again.
"Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamt about the day I would get married. I dreamt about the man I would marry, hoping that he would love me just as much as I loved him," she said. She looked at her boys. "The day that I met you four, was the happiest day of my life. You all accepted me for who I was, even accepting that I had powers beyond the human imagination," she said. "Not a day goes by that I don't think about not sharing my life with the four of you. You four, are the embodiment of what love and protection really are. Loving someone unconditionally, no matter who they are. Protecting that someone with your lives," she sighed. "With these words, with this vow, I swear with all that I am, that I will continue to protect and love you, till my last breaths or until the world ends." She said. Grandpa smiled.
"The ringbearer will now present the rings." Grandpa said. Laddie walked up, holding a purple pillow with five rings on it, four for the boys and one for [Y/N]. Dwayne stepped forward, taking David's place. He gently took the ring from the pillow, gently ruffling Laddie's hair in thanks. He looked at [Y/N], taking her left hand in his. He held up the ring.
"With this ring, we promise to love and protect you for all eternity. We promise to love and hold you in sickness and in heath, in happiness and sadness, in the good times and the bad, for as long as we live." Dwayne vowed, gently slipping the ring onto [Y/N]'s finger. The ring clinked gently against [Y/N]'s engagement ring. [Y/N], having handed the bouquet of flowers to Lucy, took two of the rings in her hands.
"With these rings, I promise to love and protect you all for eternity. I promise to love and hold you in sickness and in health, in happiness and sadness, in the good times and the bad, for as long as I live." She vowed. She slipped the rings onto Dwayne and David's fingers. She took the two last rings and turned to Marko and Paul. "With these rings, I promise to love and protect you all for eternity. I promise to love and hold you in sickness and in health, in happiness and sadness, in the good times and the bad, for as long as I live." She vowed again. She slipped the rings onto Paul and Marko's fingers. Laddie stepped back, standing next to Star. Grandpa smiled again.
"You may now kiss the bride." He said. With that, Paul was the first one to gently cup [Y/N]'s cheeks with his hands and press his lips to her's. The kiss lasted for what seemed like hours, but was only seconds until Paul pulled away. Marko stepped forward, wrapping his arms around [Y/N]'s waist and pressed his lips to her's. After the two pulled away, Dwayne pulled her close, pressing his lips to her's. And lastly, David walked up, gently pressing his hand behind her neck and pressing his lips to her's. David pulled away, staring into her eyes.
"I love you." He whispered. [Y/N] smiled.
"I love you more." She said quietly. The group of friends and family broke into applause, happy for the five vampire's union. Little did the five know, their lives as married couples was just beginning. Nothing could prepare them for what was to come.

The Cyclical Nature of Time
A girl’s life ends unexpectedly early, or so it would seem. Instead of eternal nothingness, she wakes up in an empty valley with no clue how she got there. Taking her predicament in stride, she sets out to do something about it. Unfortunately for her, the first couple of people she meets aren’t much help. They claim they haven’t heard of electricity and dress as if they were on a break from their job at a Viking-themed amusement park. MC is a somewhat normal girl. She's pragmatic and not very angsty. The story is tagged with anti-hero, but to be clear, she is not a villain. She does good if she can, she just isn't morally motivated to do so. The story starts out smelling of fantasy but will eventually shift towards sci-fi. It contains some supernatural elements and has a strong lead, but it is not your usual power trip. Expect a story that takes its time, but not to the point where entire chapters are spent on mindless chit-chat. I’m not into that. This is my first serious attempt at writing and I've learnt a lot writing this. Unfortunately, that shows. Chapter 1-10 is slow and rather pointless. Things get better, but it is not until chapter 25 or so that I began understanding how to structure chapters and to make them support the larger story. I publish about 3000 words a week (every sunday) but I write about 10000 words a week. Sticking to that pace, which is easy, the last chapter will be out by July.
