Jay's pov:
"Kitten it's time to wake." I feel cold hands on my shoulders shaking me lightly. I fluttered my eyes open seeing David peering over me. The bed empty with just me in it. The boys must of woken up before me. "We should go to Max's, tell him about the information we heard last night." David sits on the edge of the bed watching me sit up rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.
"You think he'll be able to find out more just from the little bit of information we have?" I yawn. "Probably, we can only hope. He seems to be good about researching." He says. He stares his blue eyes at the chipped wall, seemingly to be deep in thought. "What is it?" I ask noticing. "I wonder if this vampire King your related to is still alive, and if he is I wonder if he'll be on our side." "Could Max find out about that as well?" I scoot closer to him. His eyes flicking back to me. "We can see, Dwayne is already looking into it." I stand up pulling a old black t-shirt over my torso with black pants and my favorite black boots. "Well I hope it all works out." I can't help but feel anxious.
What if this vampire King is on the other vampires side? "We'll make sure it does." David rest his hand on my shoulder before walking out. I follow in behind him seeing Dwayne standing near a bookshelf, with a big brown book in his hands. His eyes skimming over the words taking all of the information in. Him and Marko like to read, occasionally swiping books from the book store along with music tracks for Paul. I stride over to him peeking my head around him looking down at the book.
"Whatcha reading?" I smile. Once he hears my voice his eyes tear away from the book and look at me smiling. "A book about all the famous vampires, seeing if the one your related to is in here." "Did you find him yet?" I rock on my feet nervously. His face drops. Annoance framing his face. "No not yet." His eyes had dark circles around them. You could tell he has been at it for a while going through all the books he can, trying to find any information that may help us.

"Hey, don't wear yourself out worrying about me." I rest my small hand on his arm that pins the book against him. "I can't help it. I can't help but worry about you." He sighs pressing his lips together.
"Please Dwayne. You look exhausted. Did you even sleep?" He looks down at his boots.
"No."
My eyes grow wide as I take in the exhaust framing his handsome face. "What if this vampire King that your related to is dangerous? What if he is out to get you as well and something happens to you? I couldn't live with myself." He shakes his head throwing that thought out of his head. I'm glad the boys care and love me enough to make sure I'm safe, but they need to worry about themselves as well. I worry about them just like they worry about me.
"You guys ready?" David asks slipping on his gloves standing near the exit of the old dusty cave. I nod walking towards him. Paul hums one of his favorite songs Welcome to the jungle by Guns n roses. Drumming on invisible drums with his pointed fingers in his own world. Marko bites his thumb while watching Paul Cleary amused. A small smile etched on his face, eyeballing the crazy blonde in front of him. "I think I'm going to stay here and search through these books more." Dwayne says with his eyes balls still glued to the book.
David stares at him before speaking. "Alright but were going to that diner Jay likes. After meeting with Max." "Okay just tell me when your going to the diner." He says finally tearing his eyes away from the book. David nods before climbing out of the cave with Marko and Paul. I walk to Dwayne and hug him. I stand on my tippy toes and kiss him before going out to the bikes.

"Who do you want to ride with kitten?" David says smashing out his cigarette. I look between them three thinking. "I guess I'll ride with Marko." I say. He smiles excitedly as I step over to his rumbling bike. "Just don't get me killed." I point a finger at him smirking.
He smirks back at me. "I won't do that angel. Now I can't make any promises about driving crazy but I won't let you get killed." He holds his hand out for me to grab. I grab his bare hand climbing on behind him. It's rare that he goes without his gloves, but it's nice that I can actually hold his hand instead of his bulky gloves. "Hold on tight gorgeous." He peeks over his shoulder at me smirking.
I wrap my arms around his waist, feeling his skin on his belly. He revs his engine nodding and David. We all take off. Feeling the wind blow through my hair. I hear Marko laughing as he weaves in and out from between David and Paul. I roll my eyes and laugh at him. He always has to have a little fun when riding. "Woohoo!" Paul shouts at me as he rides by, speeding by ahead of us.
We pull into Max's drive way. Marko climbs off and helps me off as David and Paul walk to the door. David pounds on the door huffing. David and Max have a love hate relationship. They bicker then there nice to each other. The door swings open and once Max sees it's us he huffs pushing up his glasses. David pushes by him walking in, making himself comfortable. I grab Marko's and Paul's hand while walking in.
"We found out a little bit about the vampires." David says pulling out a cigarette and lighting it. "A guy at the bar messed with Jay making Marko beat his ass. He knew Marko was a vampire so we brought him back to the cave to torture him for answers. He said that Jay is related to an old vampire King and that's why the vampires are after her blood. If they drink from her they become stronger." Paul says kicking his feet up on the coffee table. Max stared deep in thought taking it all in.
"The two vampires that are after her is a tall guy with black hair named Axel, he is with a red headed girl named Lila." David says puffing out a cloud of smoke. Max scrunches his nose at smoke. "What is your last name again?" Max asks me. "Copper." I say looking into his eyes.
He nods while thinking. "Adrien Copper." "What?" David raises his eyebrow. "That's the vampire King that she's related to. He was one of the first vampires to ever exist, along with a girl he fell in love with named Maryanne." My jaw drops. I glance over to the boys shocked. Just from my last name he knew all of that. "You know him?" David chimes in putting his cigarette out.
"Know him? He the one to turned me."

The Princess And Her Warmonger
"Let me tell you a true story about a mouse and a Warmonger, and the unlikely relationship that sprouted between them in the time of endless war." Nostalisk is a world in endless constant war. The Factions of this world endlessly fight for power, this fighting called the Great Wars, a war that has been alive for over four million years. Currently, one of the largest Factions has withdrawn from the endless fighting. This Faction, known as the Kingdom, hopes to forget their past of endless bloodshed and how they were almost destroyed because of it. In the Kingdom, Princess Isalene, the only princess of the Kingdom, is stuck choosing a new personal guard after her previous one died. Despite her father, King Robert, helping her choose a new guard, Isalene decides to head to the arena to see how the knights on the list her father gave her act outside of the eyes of royals. When she arrives at the arena, she sees a knight fighting that is not on the list her father gave her. Named Cruel Knight, this knight is a vicious knight with confusing morals. Despite hating violence, Princess Isalene can't help but be drawn to the knight and their graceful yet cruel fighting style and strange weapons. Princess Isalene continues to watch them and soon learns that Cruel Knight is a Warmonger named Sharia, and is female at that, meaning she is a prisoner. She isn't in there for something simple as disobeying a direct order or killing a noble, but for prolonging a war. Despite knowing this, Princess Isalene can't stop thinking about the Warmonger and suddenly gets a "smart" idea. She'll make Sharia her new personal guard to find out more about her! What could go wrong? And so begins the odd relationship between Sharia The Warmonger and Princess Isalene. One is a peace-loving sheltered naive princess who hates violence and the other is a vicious, cold, twisted, and cruel Warmonger who hates the kind of peace Isalene and the current Kingdom loves. Polar opposites. Yet, even the Warmonger can't help but grow a strange liking to her new "annoyance". But, can the two really get along? After all, Sharia's whole mindset sees Isalene as a waste, and it seems that everyone Isalene talks to tells her to fire Sharia before something terrible happens. But, then again, during this time of budding danger, this odd couple may be what the Kingdom needs. After all, when a large faction such as the Kingdom starts growing soft and weak, they become a rather irresistible target. [After thinking on it, I decided to start a re-write of The Princess And Her Warmonger, adding more details, fixing the switching POVs somewhat, and fixing some of the issues with the story. Don't worry, all of the chapters are still here, I am just making new ones and replacing the old chapters one at a time] (This story can also be found on Scribble Hub and Webnovel) [Cover art is not mine]
