《Come back to us (The Lost Boys Poly fanfic)》Chapter 13 Double trouble

Jay's pov:
Dwayne suggested that we go out to the bar to drink. At first David was against it saying we had our fun on the boardwalk the other night. Saying we needed to stay in to protect me. Dwayne said that the vampires know where we live and basically no where is safe. He is right about that, but I did want to have another night out. It helps with my creeping anxiety wondering when the other vampires will try to come for me.
I don't want to get attacked and the boys having to see me almost dead again. They've been through enough, I wouldn't want to see them almost dead either. "Fine, but keep an eye on Jay. Do not take your eyes off of her." David instructs as we head out to the bikes. "Babe, please please ride with me." Paul begs like a kid at a candy store. I smirk looking at him. "Sure." His eyes light up and he sits on his bike. I take my place behind him wrapping my arms around his waist.
David looks at us nodding before taking off. Paul follows in behind Marko and Dwayne behind us. I peek my eyes over his shoulder feeling the excitement in me. There's something about riding on a motorcycle that makes me feel free. Marko stands up looking back at us with a childish grin as he rides forward. "Marko please be careful!" I shout to him as we drive closer. He shakes his head giggling before sitting back down.
Paul swerved between David and Marko making me squeal. "Eeep!" I tighten my arms around him. "Don't worry babe, I won't let you get hurt." Paul smiles zig zagging across the road.
Dwayne speeds up so he's riding next to us. He looks over at me winking before zooming off ahead of us. "Paul I think we're losing." I giggle seeing the rest of the boys ahead of us. "Nah trust me." He zooms ahead of everyone else. We pull into the bar parking lot, the boys killing there engines. "Were you mad cause you were losing?" David smirks climbing off of his bike.
"No I did it for Jay." Paul pats David's shoulder. We all walk into the bar seeing it was packed full. "You always dress nice when we go out." Dwayne says eyeing me up and down. I was wearing a short black dress that fell high above my knees that hugged my curves. "Thank you." I blush pecking his cheek. "What can I get ya?" A short guy walks up behind the bar. "5 whisky shots please." I smile taking a seat. "Damn girl starting hard aren't we?" Paul smirks sitting next to me.

I giggle shaking my head. The guy gives us all our shots. "Ready?" David asks holding up the shot glass. We all nod tipping through glass on our lips. Marko takes it and scrunches his nose. David takes it and shakes his head feeling the burn. I almost gag when I take it. Dwayne gives a uncomfortable look so little that you would think it didn't faze him. Paul chokes and then laughs when he takes his.
We take a couple more shots and I start to feel tipsy. The other guys are tipsy as well. You can tell David is tipsy because he's more open and comfortable in public. He slowly dances on the dance floor making me giggle a little. "It's rare seeing him like this." I admit watching his terrible dance moves. "It is very rare. I think I'm going to join him." Paul leaps up dancing next to him. Marko is at the bar chatting up a stranger. He seems to make friends so easily when he's been drinking.
Dwayne is standing with David and Paul laughing at them. "Hey." I hear a voice. I turn and see a man sitting next to me. I feel a little uneasy once I noticed Marko was gone. I don't know where he went but I felt safe with at least one of the by my side.
"Uhh.. hi." I look at him. "What have you been drinking?" He asks smirking while taking a sip of his drink. "Whiskey." I say unsure if I should even be talking to him. "Damn that's hot." He winks at me. Okay now I feel really uncomfortable. "Want to have a little fun?" His brown eyes sparkle. "No I'm taken." I say looking back at my boys seeing them still talking and playing around on the dance floor. "Come onnn..." He trails his hand up my thigh. I can tell he's drunk. Alcohol reaks from his mouth when he talks. "Back off." I push his hand away grunting. "Make me." He licks his lips shoving his hand up my dress. "Hey!" I huff trying to push his hand away.
"She said back off!" I turn to see Marko standing next to him with rage in his face. The guys eyes trail over to Marko still smirking. "Why? I just want to pleasure her." He looks Marko in the eyes grinning. Marko balls his fist up and punches the guy right in the face. Everyone's eyes look over to the fight going on. "I said back the fuck off!" Marko hovers over him on the ground punching him repeatedly. The guys face getting bloodier and bloodier. Marko gets so mad his vampire form shows. Big yellow eyes and sculpted forehead and his big fangs sticking out. Sweat pouring out of his head.

The rest of the boys stride over to me immediately protecting me. "Keep it up, show everyone your true form. Show them who you really are. I know what you really are." The man turns his bloody face to Marko smirking. Marko stops punching him and looks at him confused once he realizes what he meant. This man knows Marko is a vampire, but how? "Marko it's ok please stop! Don't risk yourself!" I shout over to him.
His eyes flick over to me with sadness, he turned back to the man and started punching him again. "Marko!" I shout running over to him kneeling next to him."Marko look at me please." I put my hand on his cheek turning his head to me. He stops punching the man and looks me in the eyes. I could see the rage behind his eyes. The crazy anger swirling around in them. Marko changed out of his vampire form calming himself. The man laid there bloody. Marko almost beat him to death. David growls at the man stomping over grabbing his shirt collar. "We're not done with you." He growls in his face. Believe it or not but David and Marko are the ones who get angry easily. There the ones who can't control there anger easily. Specially when they've been drinking. Where Dwayne and Paul can get mad but keep them selves under control and take care of the situation later after privately discussing it with us or each other.
"You okay bub?" Paul looks at me sad. I slowly nod looking at him. He holds his arms our toward me. I step forward and engulf in his hug. He caresses my head as Dwayne steps closer and rubs my back. "Marko what did he do?" David steps toward Marko. "H-he kept asking for sex with Jay, even put his hands on her." Marko wipes sweat off of his forehead. "Touched her how?" David growls, getting angry at the thought. "Ran his hand up her thigh and shoved his hand up her dress." Marko says looking over at me.
That was all David needed to hear to feel fuming with anger. "Let's go." David leads to the front door. We all start to walk to our bikes. "No this way." David points down the alley way next to the bar. "What are we doing?" Paul asks never taking his arm out from my waist. "I read the guys mind. He walks through this alley way to go home. We're not letting him get away with this ." David grunts hiding us in the alley.
A few moments later that guy walks through the alley. "Nice to see your stupid ass again." David grits his teeth stepping out of the shadows. "Oh come on don't you think I got beaten enough from your other curly blonde haired dude?" The guys huffs ready to go home and rest. "Well you did touch his girl, well she's our girl too." David cracks his fingers stepping closer to him.
"Oh so she's a whore then." He chuckled. All the boys growl and step forward. "You shouldn't of said that." Dwayne growls. David punches the man again. He must of took enough hits from Marko that David's hit knocked him out. David flung the guy over his shoulder. "I'm taking him back to the cave. I want answers on how he knew you were a vampire. Jay you can drive my bike back. I'm going to fly." David looks at us before flying up and away.
"I don't know how to drive a motorcycle." I look to the rest of the boys. "It's easy. we will show you, and we won't leave your side or let anything happen to you." Marko says sitting on his bike. Paul walks me over the steps to drive it. I look at the boys nervously and they nod at me assuring me.
I start to drive forward feeling myself wobble a little bit. "It's ok, don't think about your balance and you'll balance perfectly!" Paul shouts above the roar of the engines. They take off now driving by my side with Marko behind me. We finally get to the cave and I kill the engine hopping off. "You did good girl!" Paul walks over holding his hand up for a high five. I high five him giggling. "Hey listen before you go in." Marko grabs my arm swinging me around to turn to him. His face drops, getting serious all of a sudden.
"I'm sorry about back at the bar. I hope I didn't scare you." Marko's voice softens as he rest his hand on my arm. "You didn't scare me. I know you would never hurt me." I reassure him. "I'm glad you believe that, cause I would never hurt you. None of us will." "Marko it's ok really." I grab his gloved hand holding it. "It just made me really mad hearing another man say stuff like that about you and to you. Specially when he put his hands on you." Marko sighs thinking back on it. I don't say anything I just lean in and kiss him. Once I pulled away he now had a smile on his face. Understanding that I forgave him and wasn't scared of him.

8 642Hazelsong: A LitRPG Novel
Release Schedule: I will be moving to a set release schedule as of 1/1/2022. A new chapter will be released every Saturday at Noon EST. If I have time that week for a second chapter, I will leave a note on the Saturday chapter and post the second chapter on Sunday at Noon EST. An up to date character sheet for the MC Erik will also be posted on Sundays at 12:15 PM. If life happens and I am for some reason unable to write that week, I will post a blank chapter giving you an update on where I am with my writing. Saturday Noon EST: First weekly chapter Sunday Noon EST: Second weekly chapter (if I have the time) Sunday 12:15 EST: Updated character sheet Synopsis: Years after surviving a deadly accident, Erik struggles to come to terms with his painful disability. When offered the chance to playtest the world's first full immersion VRMMO, he wants nothing more than to retreat back into his secluded life, until he learns what Hazelsong really offers. An escape from the pain. Hazelsong is a world of magic and adventure, a place where friendships are formed, loot is won, and glory and fame are there for the taking. While the threats feel real and the stakes are always high, there is only one thing Erik is really in danger of. Forgetting which world is actually real. Story Themes: Hazelsong is a LitRPG novel that not only explores the fictional world of a realistic online fantasy realm but the life of a man suffering in silence from chronic pain and PTSD due to a significant physical injury and disability. Mental health is an important subject and we all know at least one person in our lives who has or is dealing with some form of mental illness. I plan on putting my best effort forward to represent these illnesses in a fair and accurate manner. Not as a cheap plot device to help make the protagonist more unique, but to help paint an accurate picture for those of us who have been lucky enough to not have to suffer in silence. About the Author: I am Ash Durra, general video game nerd and a connoisseur of fantasy and sci-fi of all shapes and sizes. Needless to say, I am not a professional author (B.S. and M.S. in Education, 8 years teaching). After really getting into LitRPG novels over the past several years, I found my way to Royal Road, which has inspired me to use my spare time to begin writing a story of my own creation. As this is a hobby, I am not writing and posting chapters on any kind of specific schedule at the moment, though my goal is to post on average 1-2 chapters a week. I am incredibly excited to share this story with others as I write it, and I look forward to any constructive feedback about how I can improve in my writing.
8 91Robinson Crusoe (Completed)
Robinson Crusoe is a novel by Daniel Defoe, first published on 25 April 1719. The first edition credited the work's protagonist Robinson Crusoe as its author, leading many readers to believe he was a real person and the book a travelogue of true incidents. Epistolary, confessional, and didactic in form, the book is presented as an autobiography of the title character (whose birth name is Robinson Kreutznaer)-a castaway who spends twenty-eight years on a remote tropical desert island near Trinidad, encountering cannibals, captives, and mutineers, before ultimately being rescued.

Not that any of this affected Cillian James, who was too busy keeping the lights on with webnovels he didn't want to write to really concern himself with some omniscient tower kidnapping people at random. That is, until Cillian is kidnapped himself, and now he has some very big problems on his hands. Namely, surviving the Tower and its homicidal salamanders and zombies and weirdly affectionate cats, and learning the truth behind the existence of the amulet titled "The Writer's Secret". Cilian isn't particularly athletic, given he spent six years glued to a computer chair, and the Tower can only give him so much strength before he's considered a lost cause, and he's not prepared in the slightest for this. He's a bit weak, he hates killing, and spends more time screaming than he does actually fighting, but if there's one thing he's got going for him, it's his impressive self-perseveration skills.
