David's pov:
Jay lays on the floor staring at it with a black and blue eye. Ryan is still gone, probably trying to cool down. I look over at the boys checking on them. It's not easy seeing your women get hurt. Specially by another guy and you can't do anything about it. But if this keeps happening. I don't care what Max says, were stepping in. Marko is leaning against the living room wall staring at Jay biting his thumb with teary eyes. Dwayne is resting his head on the wall trying to calm down.
Paul is sitting on the floor criss cross staring at his legs. They all feel the hurt from seeing Jay like this. Pain that just thumps in our hearts. Anger and anxiety washing over us not knowing how to handle the situation. Should we interfere and show ourselves to Jay and help her remember and have Max get pissed at us? Or should we sit back and continue to watch it all unfold? Personally I want to interfere, but that also means the other vampires could find her and kill her.
Jay sits up after a while and walks to the phone dialing someone. "Hey it's me Jay, I'm calling to buy some ecstasy from you. How much is some?" All of our eyes widen and we look at each other. "Why is she buying ecstasy?" Dwayne asks. "I guess she's so depressed she wants to feel high to get rid of her depression." Marko speaks up. "Weed is one thing but fucking ecstasy?" Paul looks at us sad. "Ok thank you see ya then." She hangs up walking to the dining table gathering the food and dishes to clean up.
"I don't want her taking that, but we can't do anything about it." I say shrugging my shoulders watching her every move. "Let's just keeps an eye on her. Make sure she don't over dose or doing anything stupid." Dwayne says nervously. "What if she does?" Marko looks up. "Then we interfere, we'll give her some of our blood and turn her into a vampire. I know she don't want to be one yet but I don't care I won't let her die and Max can get pissed." I admit. Max can get mad for all I care. The whole reason he gave her this life and erased her memories temporarily was to save her life. So if she overdoses then we're saving her life again.

After she cleans up the kitchen and dining table a knock sounds at the door. She stops for a moment and wipes her years away before opening the door. A short blonde man appears in the door way. "Come on in." She gestures inside with the man following. "So why did you change your mind?" The man asks pulling out a bag full of pills. "When you asked me if I wanted some at work I denied it cause i was scared taking it. But now I'm going through a lot and just want to feel something else then this pain." She admitted holding back tears.
"You mean that pain?" He points at her bruised eye. She touches at it lightly before looking up. "Um kinda, but also internally." She gulps. The man just stares at her for a minute before speaking. "Well if you need anything I'm here." "Finally once decent man around here." I scoff. "You mean the decent man that's selling our girl drugs?" Dwayne squints his eyes at me.
"Thank you." She softly smiles. She grabs cash out of her room and hands it to the man in exchange for the pills. "See you at work." He says walking out. Once he leaves Jay takes out a pill and stares at it before popping it in her mouth swallowing. "Well no going back now." She mumbles to herself. After a couple of hours she's high out of her mind. Sitting on the couch with her pupils blown wide. Zoning out at the TV not even paying attention to it. "Do you think she overdosed?" Marko leans forward looking at her. "No she still has a strong heartbeat. When it starts to weaken then well know." I explain crouching in front of her.
She stares forward with big eyes. "Damn you can tell she took something." I lean in looking in her eyes. Seeing that she's not there. She's somewhere but not here. That what this drug does to you. It kinda makes you like a zombie. She breaks eye contact with the TV and stands up wobbling back and forth. She tries to step forward and almost falls. She looks down at her legs and giggles. "Funnnyyy feet." She mumbles giggling more. "What the hell?" Paul asks stepping toward her. "She's really high." Marko says getting worried. All of a sudden she falls on the floor and passes out. All of our eyes widen and rush over to her. "She's still alive her heart beat is still strong, her body is just overwhelmed by the drug in her system." I say picking her up into my arms. "David What are you doing??" Dwayne says worried. "I'm just taking her to her bed." I say walking to her room laying her down on the bed.

I brush there hair out of her face and admire her sleeping form. Her pink lips slightly parted with her hair all matted. I think for a moment and lay next to her. Pulling her head to rest on my chest. The boys come in watching. "Your going to get Max mad at you. Your touching her." Paul says huffing. "I carried her to her bed so she can sleep off the high, plus she's in such a deep sleep that she won't wake up and see I'm holding her." I say rolling my eyes. Her head rests in my chest with my arm under her head. It feels nice to be able to hold her again.
"Well I want to hold her before she wakes." Dwayne says crossing his arms. "You boys will get your turn I promise." I chuckled watching them death glare me. After a couple of hours I get up and let Dwayne take my place. He lays down gently pulling her up to lay on him as he wraps his arms around her. "Let us know if she wakes. If she does don't let her see you." I tell him staring down at him. He nods in agreement before looking down at her admiring her face like I did. Softly caressing her head enjoying the moment.
After Dwayne's turn it's Paul's, he picks her up and lays her against him while running his fingers through her hair. After Paul's turn it's Marko's. He sits her up with her going limp against him until he's gets comfortable and lays her back down on top of him. Her head laying on his chest. "You know when I touched her hand when she bumped into me, I felt my whole heart speed up. I felt all my sadness leave my body. This is the only therapy I would ever need. To just lay here and hold her." He says watching her sleeping form. Caressing her cheek while humming. "I feel you. She is our mate that's they we feel this way about her." I look down at her smiling softly. This girl may not feel loved now, but she is deeply loved by us 4 vampires.
