Anakin's pov
The man now stood across from me with his arms crossed. Mine were above my head, chained to the bar on the ceiling, restricting any form of escape, as I had tried earlier. They'd already beat me and I had gashes along my bare side from it.
"Your tricks won't work on me, I will never leave the Jedi order,"I shouted at him.
"You're mistaken, Skywalker," He hissed,"the Jedi are useless, as are you with them. Your assets would be appreciated here."
"Appreciated. You call this being appreciated. Being chained up?" I said, looking from the shackles on my wrists back to him.
He growled before holding his hand out in the air. My throat began feeling constricted, my breathing becoming raspy breaths. He had me in a force-choke, the bastard.
He began stepping closer to me, so close our faces almost touched. "I know you've done something to her," He said, his menacing glare piercing mine. I squirmed in the choke hold. "All she ever thinks of is YOU!" He shouted now, spitting in my face. "I shouldn't be surprised though, it's like you Jedi to manipulate people's thoughts."
"What..." I could barely speak out, my thoughts becoming muddled with confusion.
"You know who I mean, the girl you asked about earlier," He said,"well I'm sorry for the bad news, but her heart lies with the SITH." He finally released me from the chokehold, and I stood gasping for air, deep heaving breaths escaping my lips.
Jealously. Thats what I could sense. I began laughing,"You know, we hate each other, I HATE the Sith, otherwise I wouldn't have tried to kill her."
"I could sense your feelings, Skywalker, there was a little stronger feeling than hate coming from you." He said.
Oh...
"Yes, oh. Now I shall send you to Bespin, you'll learn a thing or two there," He said before leaving the room.
He could sense that. I felt ashamed, yet also angry. That was none of his business. If he weren't there I could've killed her. I was so close.
Two stormtroopers soon emerged through the door. Before I could react, I recieved a blow on the head, and everything faded to black.
Y/n's pov
I sat in the pilot seat of the Scimitar, now being able to control it after my mission to capture Anakin.
I'd been travelling for a few hours and was just emerging through the cloudy atmosphere of Bespin, the specks of liquid vapour scattering the windows.

As I emerged from the top layer of clouds, I looked around and saw they were everywhere. It was beautiful. In the distance I saw a large structure. The city. It impressed me how they managed to build it. This was proper order, this is what I was fighting for.
After landing the ship on a pad, I made my way to the entrance of the city, my Sith robes flapping in the wind behind me as I walked.
I approached the guards and explained I was here to see Malvo, and they soon let me through. In all honesty, I didn't know why I was here. It was a spontaneous decision, one taken out of lust.
I'd never been touched before the way he had last night, and I wanted to see more. I mean, I'd slept with guys before, but they'd never been as intimate as Malvo, they were mainly flings.
Following the directions the guards gave me, I soon reached the grand, majestic building Cas was supposedly in.
Upon entering, the first thing I noticed were the many sleek glass windows that lined the walls, providing a view of the fluffy gas clouds surrounding. For a mining colony, it sure wasn't bad, I mean they were extremely rich.
I made my way up a tall spiral staircase, until I reached a room. Above the door was a sign that read 'Cas Malvo' and I took it that that was his room.
I was about to knock when the door opened, revealing Malvo stood there, wearing a different long coat this time, with a decorated button down shirt.
"Ah, y/n, I thought you'd show up," he said, the same charming smile as before plastered on his face.
"I was just curious," I said with a smirk on my face, as he held my hand to pull me inside.
"Your curiousity will definitely pay off," he said, pulling me close and trailing his fingers down my back, resting his hand above my ass.
A loud horn suddenly blared, and I looked around, alerted.
"Ah-ha! The game must've commenced, come here darling please sit everyone will have their eyes on us."
What?
Still with his hand behind my back, he led us to the balcony where a great cheering erupted from below. I looked down to see... A stadium?
We both took out seats and he waved his hand at the ginormous crowd surrounding the arena, and they soon fell silent
"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls...," He began, looking proudly over his citizens,"LET THE GAME COMMENCE!"

The cheering erupted once again and a large gate on one side of the arena began to open.
I recognised the figure that emerged from the darkness... Their robes... Jedi robes... And padawan braid.
It was Anakin Skywalker.
Anakin's pov
As the large gate opened, bright sunlight and a view of large fluffy clouds poured into my vision.
A huge arena with a howling crowd encircled me as I stepped forward. That bastard from the Empire had sent me to Bespin, but who knew they had a whole battle arena.
On the opposite side of the stadium, another gate opened, only this time revealing something much worse.
I could only watch in horror as a horrific beast metres taller than me with horns protruding from it's spine and talons inches long began to enter the stadium.
It was a Rancor. How did they get their hands on one of them!?
The crowd began screaming and chanting, so this was entertaining for them..
I began slowly circling the arena, the long shackles that bound my wrists however soon became useful as I spun them round over and over.
The creature began gaining on me, talons poised and ready to fight.
However, a deep pit suddenly emerged in my stomach. I only got that when a certain energy was near. An energy from the dark side...
When she was near.
That was when my eyes locked onto hers. Sat up on a high balcony next to Cas Malvo. What was she doing with him!?
A deep fury abruptly enveloped me. Was it her plan all along to see me in this vulnerable state. And with Cas Malvo, the ruler of Bespin. She must've been up to something. Although, when was she not trying to murder me?
In her thoughts maybe...
I smirked at the thought, still looking up at her. I saw her tense in her seat before looking away, pain flashing in her eyes. She was a Sith after all. I supposed that's all they ever felt.
I hadn't noticed the raging Rancor hurling itself towards me. I looked at it bewildered, until I saw her.
Y/n's pov
There was no time. In a moment of desperation I had jumped from the balcony and had now landed straddling the Rancors back, bringing it to halt as it spun in confusion.
A loud gasp echoed through the audience, and Skywalker's face was a picture of shock. That expression soon turned to one of smugness as he swung the chain around the beasts neck and hopped on behind me.
"What are you doing, Sith," he murmured in my ear.
"What? Nothing wrong with a little fun," I tried playing it off. In all honesty, I had no clue what I was doing, it was more a moment of my instinct taking control. Truthfully, I didn't think I could bare to watch him die...
"Woahh," he said, gripping tighter with his knees as the Rancor swirled round. He abruptly grabbed my thigh, pushing himself up. A jolt of heat ran through me.
"Sorry, I slipped," he said, quickly removing his hand and focusing on steering the beast.
"Don't slip again," I snapped.
Or do. You know you want him to.
I scowled at my conflicting thoughts, what would Gale think if he were here!
Anakin's pov
I pushed my knees tightly into her sides, trying hard not to focus on the tension between us and more on the Rancor.
I shouldn't have touched her, it was a stupid accident.
Although when I did, it made me feel... electric? I couldn't describe the sensation. All I know is that it felt... Good...
Snap out of it! I shook myself back to reality.
I saw she had her lightsabre bare, the red light going against everything I stood for. It felt wrong to be doing this.
Why would she even jump down in the first place?
I watched as she slowly walked to the Rancors neck, and aimed her lightsabre up. In a swift motion, she leapt up and backflipped over the head of it, slashing her sabre through its throat before landing perfectly on the ground. Wow.
Thick green blood began gushing from it's neck, and it collapsed to the floor in a big thud.
Well that was easy.
An excited uproar went ringing through the stadium, and we stood next to each other, holding serious expressions.
"ANNND WE HAVE OUR WINNERS, Y/N Y/L/N AND ANAKIN SKYWALKER. WHO WOULD'VE THOUGHT THE TWO FOE WOULD REACH THIS RESULT!" A booming voice came from the commentator's box.
Y/n y/l/n... So that was her name...
We circled each other, back to back, and marvelled at what we had achieved.
I saw Malvo beaming at her with a charming smile.
I knew what was going through that man's mind. I'd heard of him sleeping with many girls. But her, the thought of it filled me with rage.

Of Men and Dragons, Book 2
Jack, S'haar, and all their family are back. After crashing his ship on an underdeveloped world, Jack found friends and family among the terrifying cat-lizard natives of the world, but now mere survival is no longer enough. They must carve out a new home for themselves in the landscape of the now rapidly changing world. Raiders, politics, and even nature threaten their happiness and their lives while they struggle to deal with the nightmares and traumas of yesterday. They'll need to depend on each other more than ever if they hope for their new home to have any kind of future. In case you missed it, here's book one. ATTENTION: This is soft sci-fi rather than hard sci-fi, hence why I chose that tag. For those of you unfamiliar with the distinction, here's what Wikipedia had to say. 1. It explores the "soft" sciences, and especially the social sciences (for example, anthropology, sociology, or psychology), rather than engineering or the "hard" sciences (for example, physics, astronomy, or chemistry). 2. It is not scientifically accurate or plausible; the opposite of hard science fiction. Soft science fiction of either type is often more concerned with character and speculative societies, rather than speculative science or engineering. The term first appeared in the late 1970s and is attributed to Australian literary scholar Peter Nicholls.

Ebony Chitin - Eclipse
Richard Adams is something of a talented alchemist. One of the few magical professions that have anything to do with some kind of science. Everything was going swimmingly, until the 'cold night' incident happened. With it being determined as his fault, that such a thing happened. He was promptly exiled until he could return to Eclipse with a new 'discovery' for his field. What he didn't expect; was that he'd run into a strange humanoid monster that could seemingly heal any life threatening wound in a matter of seconds. Certainly this would be what he needs to become a master alchemist. The first step on a multi series journey. Please excuse the earliest chapters and their poor grammer. Ebony Chitin follows Richard Adams, and Mimi on their Journey to understand each other and the world around them. Due the the exploratory nature of such a claim, it will cover many different topics. This was my first attempt at actually writing a story, and because of that I will not edit it. I'd suggest reading the second part as it comes out as most of the things within this book will be recapped. Though if it becomes popular I hope it might inspire some of you readers to write your own stories. Cover Art by Rose Dragon
