600 years have passed since the fall of civilization. The earth went through massive changes and core beasts now reign supreme. All that still exists of mankind are ruins and a scattering of walled cities. Festering pits of the worst humanity has to offer, protected by "knights" clad in a mech-like technology called armor. Nobles rule over everyone, little more than warlords. The middle class wants to make a buck and become nobles. And the rats want to survive. But everyone wants a piece of the ancient technology lost to mankind hundreds of years ago. Find one piece and it could change your life forever. For better or worse. This is my second attempt at a story. I haven't been writing for more than 3 or 4 months all combined. I hope to improve as I go. This is first and foremost a learning experience for me.

With over 5 billion registered players world wide, the game has such depth and impeccable programing from some of humanity's greatest minds, that it could be recognized as one of humanity's greatest digital accomplishments. As the game got famous, so did its players, and on the top of the global leaderboard is the username [Xero]. Quickly, this person who had no background or information about his real identity became a legend with his in-game achievements. ... On a certain day as Xero was in the middle of revelling in his victory againts the [Overlord of the Void]---the single most powerful enemy in Ether Gate, a strange item appeared in his invetory simply named [Chance]. While inspecting the item a clear voice resounded in his mind... Would you like to be freed from this world?

In the fantastical Spirit Realm of Runeterra exists an alternate reality where eternal war is waged on a near planetery scale. Yordles, the dimunitive and whimsical magical creatures of Runeterra have been thrust into all out war! Super powers like Russia, the United States and Germany fight for domination of Affra. Several thousands of years have passed in the blink of an eye, frought with the terrible atrocities commited in the name of progress. Now the largest super powers across Affra race for nuclear supremecy in secret after an armistice brought uneven peace to the war-torn realm.We follow a team of Special Forces Agents working behind enemy lines to make sure the Soviet Union, under its esteemed Primer; Mak Molotok, succeeds in bringing about a Red Affra. This is just a fun idea spawned from a group of friends, while the story is very much serious the subject of Yordles in a Cold War era stalemate is not. Updates won't be at all frequent. This is honestly a side show to my current webseries despite how much I love it. And once again this story features characters belonging to those friends I mentioned earlier, but this time I'll wait to reveal who is who. The cover art was done by the fantastic Teamoon!
