I smiled as my blaster fired into the enemy droids. I was currently the only one in this sector of the battlefield. The clone wars have been a long painful process, but we were finally getting the upper hand. I heard something being me and I turned around. I felt a bullet pierce through my chest. I shot the droids around me and found a alleyway between two buildings.
I slid down the wall, clutching my side. I heard cheers from my comrades. We had won the war. I just wish I could live to see it.
I smiled, thinking of my lover, Obi-Wan.
He was always there for me,
I just wish I could see his face one more time.
Lastly, I thought of my life. Was I content with letting it end here..?
I just wish I could breathe... one... more... time...
I smiled and hugged my friends.
"WE WON!" They all cheered.
But something felt wrong... there was a shift in the force.
"Wait, where's Y/n?" I asked Snips.
"We should find her." She said with a smile.
We began searching for her.
We passed by a few building and then I saw her.
Snips kept walking as I stood still, staring at my friends lifeless body.
"Skyguy? What are you-" she froze when she saw Y/n.
She had a bullet hole right between her ribs, blood was everywhere, she died with a smile on her face.
I took my robe off and covered her body with it before picking her up.
I walked back to my troops who were all celebrating.
"Did you find General L/n?" Rex asked, before noticing the bloody robe over her dead body in my arms.
All the troops went silent. They took their helmets off and got down on one knee in respect. I began walked towards the medical tent. I entered with tears streaming down my face.

"Is she alright? What happened?" The nurse asked.
"She's dead... just write the report please." I said, holding back tears.
The nurse nodded sadly and began writing on the fatality sheet.
I picked up Y/n's body and carried her back to my ship.
I fully covered her body with robes so no part of her was visible. I couldn't take seeing her like that.
We arrived back at the Jedi temple and I wrote a note to Obi-Wan. He was back at his home, waiting for Y/n to arrive.
I smiled as someone entered my house. I expected Y/n, but I saw Padme.
"There's a letter for you from Anakin..." she mumbled.
"It's probably about ships or something, I'll read it later."
"No... it's not..." she said with tears rolling down her face.
"Will you read it to me?" I asked.
"Master Kenobi,
I regret to inform you that General Y/n L/n will not be returning home from the wars.
She was found with a bullet hole between her ribs. She was shot from behind.
As you know, she was the main reason why we were able to win the war. She made many treaties and alliances with other planets which helped us win, but without her here to come to us communicating with the planets, these alliances and treaties die with her.
Three days from now, we will be burning her body. Please attend if you can.
-Anakin Skywalker"
"I'll give you some space." She said as she handed me the note and left my room. My tears poured down like a waterfall.
I couldn't believe what I just read... she couldn't be dead... it's impossible... she promised me that she'd be fine... this has to be some sick joke.
I woke up panting and covered in sweat. Tears were rolling down my cheeks. I turned and saw my lover sleeping peacefully next to me. A sigh if relief escaped my lips. She turned to face me and noticed I was crying. She frowned and gently kissed my cheek and forehead before letting me nuzzle my face against her chest. Her heartbeat soothing me.

"What's wrong?" She asked.
"I-I had a vision that you... you died..."
I quickly cupped his face with my hands.
"It's alright Obi-Wan, I'm here..." I said.
His hand moved to touch my hand that was on his face.
"Take deep breaths, I'm here it's alright."
He started calming down due to hearing my heart beat.
"Promise me that you'll never leave me..." he mumbled, his voice shaking.
"I promise... now get some rest, we have to go to the battlefield tomorrow-"
"No..." He whimpered out, clutching me close.
"No?" I questioned.
"You can't fight in the wars anymore... not after that vision..." he mumbled.
"It was most likely just a nightmare." I tried to assure him.
"No... it was so real... I can't let you do it." He said, his voice commanding her fearful.
"Obi-Wan it'll be alri-"
"You stay home from any future battles, generals orders." He said with a smirk.
I rolled my eyes and held him close.
We both drifted off to sleep, dreaming of nothing in particular.
