《Enemies to lovers (Cassandra x Reader) (Pico's School)》Trying to keep Calm

Recap of Previous part: Hanzou told Y/N and Pico about Cyclops plan to kill Y/N. He knew a plan on how to stop this situation the best way possible. Though the plan was for Y/N to ignore Cassandra just so Cassandra would then stop worrying about
Y/N and act differently so Cyclops would change his plans.
————————————Y/N POV—————————-
I woke up and headed to school. As I walked there, I met with Pico. "Hey, Pico." I said. I was a bit sad that I had to ignore Cassandra until Cyclops changes his mind. "Hey. I don't understand why you care about Cassandra so much. She's a crazy goth bitch." Pico said as we walked on the sidewalk.
"I don't know either. First, I'm scared. Then, I randomly care about her feelings." I told him. "Maybe you're just scared that if you ignore her, she'll want to harm you or something." Pico said.
I grabbed my backpack tightly, not knowing if he was right or not. Maybe that was the reason. "Let's not think about it too much." Pico told me, noticing I was getting stressed out about this. "Just say it's a normal school day." He said trying to force a smile.
"Alright." I responded. We then walked inside the school and saw Nene looking at some poster in the hallway.
"What are you looking at, Nene?" Pico asked then looking at the poster.
"You have to be fucking kidding me." He then said when he saw what the poster said. I also looked at it. It was a concert poster to battle some band called 'Starlight Mayhem' featuring 'Cam and Candy'.
Cam then came in and pat Pico on the back smiling. "Ah, Pico. You saw the posters. Do you like them?" He asked. Pico just face palmed and showed a very disappointed look. On the other hand, Nene was very excited jumping up and down.

"Oh my goodness! I'm definitely going. Wanna go, Y/N?" She asked. I mean, it said it was this Saturday. I wasn't busy that day. "Sure, why not?" I said. "Yes!" Nene exclaimed in success.
"I think we should get going to class now." I pointed out, noticing Cassandra already walked in. The worst part is that she's usually late. "Alright!" Nene agreed, waking to her class. I walked to my class with Pico and Cam who seemed to be arguing on the way there. I ignored it though.
I sat down on my desk and started writing the notes the teacher wrote down on the board. Cassandra looked like she was busy looking at those new concert posters.
"Hey, Y/N." She whispered trying to get my attention. I just ignored her like they told me to. I pretended to be focused on my notes.
Cassandra tapped me on the shoulder which made me look over to her. "What do you want?" I said trying to get her to stop talking to me. "You know about those posters, right?" She asked. "Yeah, duh. They're everywhere around the school. Plus, I have eyes." I told her crossing my arms.
"Jeez, what's with the attitude today?" She asked with a bothered look. "I just don't want to talk right now. We're in class. Make it quick." I told her. Pico noticed I was talking to her and decided to throw a paper airplane to Cassandra.
"What the fuck?" Cassandra said looking at the paper airplane. Pico signaled me to cut it out and focus on the plan we were supposed to do. I sighed and raised my hand to go to the restroom. The teacher let me go and I walked over there.

I didn't go to the restroom though. Instead, I walked to a janitor's closet and locked the door. I needed help ASAP. I thought ignoring Cassandra was easy, but it's way too hard. I took out my phone and messaged Hanzou.

"Hanzou, I don't think I'm doing too well with the plan." - Y/N
"Do you think you can handle it for first period? I'm kind of also in class." - Hanzou
"Alright. Let's meet at the janitor's closet after class." - Y/N
"Got it." - Hanzou
——————
I walked over to my class and sat back down on my desk. When I did, the bell rang. I quickly stood up and walked to the hallway then getting near the janitor's closet. The hallway was always empty near there, so it was perfect.
I then got stopped by someone grabbing me from the arm then pushing me against one of the lockers. I flinched and saw Cassandra. She had pinned me to one of the lockers. Shit.
"Why do you just run off like that?" She said looking me straight in the eye. I could tell she wanted to punch me right here and now. "I uhm. I'm a very busy person. I have to keep up with my class, you know?" I said getting nervous.
"Let her go, Cassandra." Hanzou said patting Cassandra in the shoulder. "This isn't any of your business, Hanzou." Cassandra said looking at Hanzou. "Well, it is. I have to talk to Y/N." Hanzou told her. How was he so calm about this?
"Whatever." She said letting me go then walking off. She was pretty pissed off. "Thanks Hanzou." I thanked him. "Why were you blushing when Cassandra was here?" Hanzou asked. I didn't realize I was blushing. Hopefully Cassandra didn't notice it.
"Nothing— she just walked up to me by surprise." I have an excuse. Not even I knew why I was acting in such a way. "Anyways. I can make sure the teachers think you're sick and get you sent home." Hanzou told me. "I don't feel safe there. Cyclops knows where I live." I told him.
"I'll send you a friend of mine to protect you there. I'll tell them it's orders from Cassandra, and they'll do it." Hanzou explained. "Okay." I said back. Hanzou then let me go back home. I had to wait outside for Hanzou's friend to arrive. I just hope I get along with them.
