《Enemies to lovers (Cassandra x Reader) (Pico's School)》Harsh combat

Recap of Previous part: Y/N, Nene, and Darnell arrived to Pico's house finding him upset. They decided to arrange a meet-up for them at the cafe while they went to the arcade. Then, Y/N got into trouble with two kids from their school and decided to help Nene out with the fight.
————————————Y/N POV——————————-
I walked with Nene outside to a parking lot near the arcade. I was honestly kind of nervous about this. Darnell had given me a gun which looked like a rifle and a sharp knife for up-close combat.
"Are you bitches ready to get your ass kicked?" Spike said with a laugh. Spike looked like he was holding a gun and the other guy with the glasses seemed to be holding a pistol and a long sword. "Bring it on." Nene said holding her knife tightly. Was she also nervous?
Spike seemed to start the first move by aiming the gun at Nene and attempting to shoot her in the head. Nene was able to stop the attack with her knife, though. I looked more closely and it looked like Nene and Spike were mostly attacking, blocking, and dodging each other's moves. Maybe this was my chance.
Since spike was focused, I could just shoot him with the gun Darnell gave me. I just had to aim correctly. I walked back and hid somewhere behind a car a few meters away from Spike. I focused on where I would shoot him and was about to pull the trigger until I felt a sword blade touch my neck.
Shit. I forgot there were two. "If you shoot him, I'll cut your neck." The guy with the sunglasses said. "Stand up." He demanded. I quickly did and he pushed me to where Nene and Spike were fighting.

"PIERRE WHAT THE FUCK?" Nene said noticing I was taken as hostage right now. Spike stopped attacking and laughed.
"Good job, Pierre!" He said with a smile on his face. "Alright pink face. Try to attack me and your little friend's head falls off." Spike said warning Nene. My phone was ringing now. It meant that Pico must be calling me. "Oh, what's this?" Pierre said taking my phone from my pocket. I also felt him take something else. I couldn't see what it was. "Hey, Spike look. It's that Pico guy." He told spike. "Perfect." Spike answered.
Pierre answered the call. I could hear well from this close, since he was still holding up the sword to my neck. Nene was only standing there trying to think of a way to save me. It looked like she saw something and stopped thinking. Like if she found her answer.
"Hey, kid. It's me Pierre. We have your friend taken as hostage. Come here at the parking lot near the arcade unarmed and I'll let her go." Pierre said to the phone smiling. What were they trying to do?
It seemed like Pico stood silent the whole time. Well I guess he didn't know what to say about this. I didn't really know what Cam was thinking. Maybe he thought Candy was also taken as hostage. This is gonna go so bad.
I realized I still had my knife with me. I slowly tried to look through my pockets, but it wasn't there. "Oh right you're looking for this?" Pierre said holding the knife. He must have gotten it when he took my phone. "Pathetic." Spike said rolling his eyes.
Nene all of a sudden started laughing. This confused me and both of the guys. "What the fuck are you freak laughing about?" Spike yelled.

Nene laughed even more. "This bitch has gone crazy, Spike." Pierre said looking at Spike. "Shut the fuck up before we kill them." Spike demanded.
"Watch what you're saying there, Spike." A female voice said. Pierre dropped the sword and Spike dropped the gun. I turned and saw Cassandra aiming two guns at their heads.
"Cassandra I-..." Spike said confused. "But we're on your team!" Pierre said "Yeah, and they are as well." Cassandra said looking at me. "Since when!?" Spike said. "Don't talk to me that way or else I kill you here and now, Verräter." Cassandra warned them.
"I'm not a traitor I promise!" Spike said. "Then don't attack one of our members or else I will kill you without hesitating." Cassandra told them smiling. She then put the guns away and the two ran away. "Cassandra weren't you in detention?" I asked. "It's fine, they let me go afterwards. I was annoying them the whole time." She explained putting the guns inside her pockets.
"Are you both ok?" Cassandra asked us. "Yeah, I'm ok, thanks. I'm not sure about Nene." I said looking at Nene. "Yup. I just got shot above my shoulder, but it only looks like the bullet scratched me." Nene said putting her arm on her shoulder. It was kind of bleeding.
"Too bad that fight was short. I think you two would've won if Pierre didn't do anything." Cassandra said smiling now handing a bandage to Nene. "Yeah, thanks." Nene said bandaging her shoulder.
We then saw Pico and Cam running towards us.
"Y/N, NENE!" Pico said stopping and catching his breath. Cam was also tired and sat down. "What the fuck is Cassandra doing here?" Pico asked us noticing Cassandra was smirking evilly at him.
"She surprisingly saved us," Nene told Pico finishing bandaging her shoulder. "What-" "Yup, you heard that right, Prico." Cassandra said interrupting Pico and laughing at the nickname. This only bothered Pico more.
Then all of a sudden, Candy and Darnell were running towards us at full speed laughing with a staff member chasing them. "GET BACK HERE!" The staff said. "QUICK TURN ON THE CAR AND GET IN." Darnell yelled. They were holding uhm... Candies and toys? Nene turned on the car and everyone except Cassandra got in. "Sorry I can't come along, I've got things to do. Cya!" She said as she ran over somewhere. I couldn't see where.
Darnell quickly drove past the staff member sticking out the middle finger to him. "Darnell can you explain what the fuck happened?" Nene asked getting angry at Darnell. "We stole candies and toys from the counter like badasses right, Candy?" Darnell asked Candy and she nodded hugging Cam.
"Dude, you could've just earned them. We're probably banned from the arcade now." Pico said rolling his eyes. "Anyways, how'd it go in the cafe?" Darnell said changing the subject.
"It was great! We talked a lot about apples... a lot." Cam said jokingly, smiling about it. It made me laugh a little.

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
