《Enemies to lovers (Cassandra x Reader) (Pico's School)》Our job.

Recap of Previous part, Y/N woke up late realizing Cassandra had changed her alarm clock on her phone. They ran as fast as they could to school and got there late. Then, a new student arrived in class with another new student being in a separate class. By surprise, this new student was someone Pico knew and hated.
———————————Y/N POV———————————
"So until February you said?" I asked Cam and Candy as we walked down the hallway. "Yep. We wish we could stay longer, though." Cam admitted with Candy agreeing. "I dunno, leaving until February seems like a long time." I said. We were looking around for Pico, since he stormed off in the cafeteria.
"Are you sure we'll find him before class starts?" Candy said being a little worried. "We do have separate classes, Cam." She then also said. "Well, we can always look for him after school if we don't find him now." Cam responded feeling confident about this.
We had made Nene and Darnell look over to the other side of the school. If they found him, they would tell us right away. We continued doing this search, until it was time to go to our 3rd period class.
"Oh, man. It's class time. We'll see you after class, Candy!" Cam said to Candy as she waved and walked over to her class. Me, Pico, Cassandra, Cam, and a few other students had the same class, but I'm sure that would only make Pico feel worse since he hated Cassandra and Cam at the moment.
Cam walked inside the class with me following along. I sat down not seeing Pico anywhere. We sat and waited for more students to arrive.
A few 6 minutes passed, and the teacher started the class. Still, no sign of Pico. Cam raised his hand and asked, "Mrs? Do you know where Pico is?"

"He wasn't feeling well, so he had to go home." The teacher said writing on the board with a chalk. This made Cam look worried now. I knew where his house was, though. I'm just not 100% sure he would be there right now.
The teacher was busy writing on the board that Cassandra all of a sudden got the idea to move to Pico's spot which was next to mine. "Hey, Y/N. Told ya I'd be seeing you later." She whispered to me. "Duh, we have the same class what'd you expect." I whispered quietly to her crossing my arms this time trying to look calm.
If I showed anger, it would only bring her pleasure. It's definitely not what I wanted right now. "Why are you in Pico's spot? Wont the teacher notice?" I whispered to her. "Nah, the old lady's blind and deaf now. She's only got 5 more months until her body completely fossilizes." Cassandra said with a smile on her face.
"You know I can hear you very well, Cassandra." The teacher said to her turning around. "Shit." She said now having a nervous expression on her face. "Detention for you after school." The teacher said and turned back around to continue writing down the words on the board. I tried my best not to laugh at that.
But at least we didn't have to worry about Cassandra being clingy after school.
The time passed and class was over. Cam and I met up with Candy, Darnell, and Nene in the hallways. "Actually, I feel bad for your girlfriend. She already got detention." Cam told me referring to Cassandra. "She's not my girlfriend." I said with an eye roll. "Oh-" Cam said being a bit nervous about that. "Was Pico not in your class?" Darnell asked. "No, not really. The teacher said he went home from feeling 'sick'." I told them. "That's some bullshit." Nene said being mad at them for letting Pico go.

"Don't worry, we can still look for him at his house?" I told them. "I'm not sure Pico would be too happy about that," Nene said looking at Cam and Candy. "Oh, right. Don't worry we don't have to go if you guys don't want us to." Cam said.
"I wish you both could come, but I think Pico wouldn't want it." Darnell said trying to make this conversation better. "It's okay! We were planning on visiting the city. Come on, Cam!" Candy said excitingly as she grabbed Cam by the hand and headed off outside.
"Well they sure are a happy couple." Cassandra said with a disgusted expression. "When did you get here? Didn't you have detention." I told her. Nene and Darnell backed up a bit from her when they saw her standing next to me. "I can just ditch detention. No big deal." She said crossing her arms, looking at Nene and Darnell.
"Hey! You red hair! Get back here!" A teacher said. "Gotta run." Cassandra said now running away who knows where with the teacher following behind.
"Dude, Cassandra's an insane freak." Nene said as she watched the teacher chase Cassandra. "I don't think we should worry about her right now. Let's go to Pico's house now." Darnell said. We all walked outside the school and headed off to his house.
