Recap of previous part, Y/N has caught themselves in so many unlucky events. They were caught by Hanzou but able to escape, then got into more trouble with two guys, then somehow woke up in Cassandra's house? Too many things for one day.
———————————Y/N POV———————————
I woke up hoping today won't be like the bad days I had for the past couple of days now. I was still in Cassandra's house until I realized I had asked her to wake me up.
I stumbled to the door and slammed it open walking to the living room madly. In the living room I saw Cassandra literally watching Tv. I hadn't noticed that her arm was bandaged up. Must have been from getting stabbed by Nene.
"Someone's angry." She said still keeping her eyes on the screen. "Yeah, why didn't you wake me up?" I told her. "Well you hardly got any sleep, so I let you rest for another few minutes."
"Minutes!? I was supposed to be awake and gone two hours ago," I said. "Cant you just stay for a little longer?" She said now giving me a 'sad look'.
"Is this you being clingy right now?" I told her jokingly. "No," she said now looking back at the tv screen.
"I just don't know what's more important than me." She told me.
Was she being serious right now? I thought.
"You know I'm only kidding, right?" She said noticing the concerned look on my face. "Yeah, whatever. I can come back any time. There's school tomorrow, so I can't stay the whole night."
"Who said anything about staying the whole night? Are you trying to give me ideas?" She said giving me a sinister smile. "What the fuck? No I'm not," I told her, realizing I had said something about spending the night.

"Though if you were spending the whole night, I could just simply walk you to school. No big deal," She said putting her arms behind her head resting on the couch.
"Don't try to convince me. I'm supposed to meet up with Pico and the others in about a few minutes, and I'm not even ready yet."
"Who cares about those bozos? They're fine with three members participating in the little kindergarten field trip." She continued saying.
"You won't convince me like that. I'm going to see them, ok?" I told her and she just nodded disappointedly. I walking up the front door and said, "Also, tell Hanzou to give me my backpack and flashlight back. I forgot it at the alleyway. Goodbye and thanks!" now walking out.
As I got home I got a message from Pico saying,
"Hey where are you?"
I responded with, "I got stuck in a little mess. I'll be there momentarily."
I turned off my phone and went to change.
———Time skip———
I arrived at the park already dressed up now, ready for the meet-up. It was a picnic with my friends. Way more calmer than that party last night.
"Hey, Y/N!" Pico said hugging me. They were all happy which seems good. They've moved on from what happened last night just like Cassandra. Were they somehow used to this or something?
Nene was sitting down laughing at Darnell making jokes. I wanted to tell Pico everything that happened after the party, but it was best to keep it to myself. I just hope they don't find out somehow.
"Oh hi, Y/N!" Nene said finally calming down from laughing. Darnell waved at me and I waved at both of them.
I sat down and we started talking for a while. At the same time, I felt like I was being watched. Probably nothing though since every time I looked back, nobody was there.

"Is everything ok, Y/N?" Pico asked me. "Yeah, everything's fine." I responded. Everything was fine until Nene brought up last night.
"I can't believe she'd really do that though." Nene said. "Really? You can't believe it? She does this every year, Nene." Pico said.
I wasn't sure what they meant by "last year", but I guess it wasn't much of my business. I sat back and watched as they talked shit about Cassandra. I held the urge to stand up for her and tell them she saved me last night, but they would just want to know more and why she did it.
Not forgetting about that book and what it had said in it. Even though she said she changed, they would never forgive her for doing that.
Shit that reminded me... that Penilian form. I didn't ask her about it. I didn't ask her about what I needed to know.. I need to go back to her house and ask her right away after this is over.
"Y/N are you sure you're ok? You're a little quiet and seem to be daydreaming." Pico then said with Nene also looking worried.
"Oh yeah I'm ok. I was just wondering about that thing you said," I lied.
I guess it doesn't hurt to ask them.
"Said about what?" Pico asked. "About what Cassandra did every year. You said she did the same thing every year." I continued.
"Yeah, she always tries to make a plan to kill everyone in the school and do something about creating this 'new world' I think is what she said." Nene said trying to remember.
"Yeah, no she definitely crazy." Darnell said eating some cookies.
Pico just nodded slightly. Then stared back at me a little off. Did he know something I didn't?

8 148The Shadows Become Her
A fantasy progression, a coming of age story, and a tale of revenge... Alvixia "Vix" Altorelli's idyllic childhood is disrupted in one tragic night when the duke's fanatics ransack the Altorelli home and imprison the rest of her family, selling them into slavery across the ocean. Vix soon finds herself fleeing for her life and her freedom, fleeing to the faraway city of Floria on an island ruled by the mysterious Nurass, Prince of Shadows. In Floria, Vix's sharp mind and talent for magic land her a spot at the Perdita Free Collegium, the world's greatest school for spies, saboteurs, swashbucklers, seductresses and, some claim, practitioners of dark magic... and that suits Vix just fine. If the Collegium wants to give Vix the tools she needs to save her family and get her revenge on Duke Orso, she'll take that deal any day of the week and twice on Saintsdays, even if that means making a deal with the Prince of Shadows himself. This is Vix's tale. Author's Note: Now that Writathon 2022 is over, updates will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays!

8 138The Experimental Dungeon
Having all your memories erased and be reborn as a baby without any knowledge, or giving the job of managing a Dungeon without being its Core – a very easy decision for everyone, right? Right? Right? “I really should have remembered from all those fanfics and dungeon stories that those ROBs always screw with their mortal playthings” growls Claudia as she checked her Status for the umpteenth time. “How dare that... that...that manipulative thing did this to me… And no matter what extra options he gifts me with, I will NOT use them to create a hentai dungeon or anything like that” This will not be the usual dungeon core-type story found around here, but the main difference will only be explained in chapter 4 by the Dungeon Pixie. Also – despite the warning please don’t expect any explicit scenes in this story. The warnings are there because mature themes will be mentioned (and not only because the Higher Power provided some special options), but the MC is dead set on evading those options as she sees them as traps. So there are no explicit descriptions planned at all. If that changes I will give extra warnings in the chapter title, but I plan on handling things other ways. Later chapters might go a bit farther than the simple mentions in chapter 2, but don’t expect much more. Status Update 04. April 22 Writing Buffer used up, as said before I'm switching to one chapter a week on fridays. The new cover is the second placeholder, but what I really want will have to be commissioned and take a while. At least it is better than the map-part from chapter 4 that was the first placeholder.
8 211Einherjar
*This is the remake of Hell Bound* Einherjar, known in Norse mythology for being the warriors who fight at the end of days, Ragnarok. Arthur Clive felt that described Adventurer's pretty well, given that they were fighting to prevent the apocalypse due to a megalomaniacal being known as Chronos who somehow took over Hell and invaded Earth. It seems like a fantasy, but it isn't... and Arthur is just one of many who are trying to kill Chronos before he kills them. The only difference between Arthur and the others being that he's the closest to getting it right.
8 138Modern Magic
A Modern Magician BookI looked up at the crooked holo sign while the perfectly bred woman read from a paper, a plastic smile glued to her face.'Welcome to The City,' she said in a fake voice. 'Once formerly known as New York, The City is a place filled with ancient and modern wonders. Remember, if you see any magicians please report to the nearest police station or Black Hand officer.'I smiled at the sign and then raised a single finger. No, not the middle one. A blue misty light spun from my finger and into the holo device. The message quickly changed from the fake woman to one of my own.'Welcome to The City,' the woman read, her hair now dyed a fuchsia. Her eyelids were a dark blue and her bottom lip and right eyebrow were pierced. 'A special message from Hecate, queen of magic.' The woman looked up at me, a smirk playing on her lips. 'Welcome to my city.'
