Recap of previous part, Y/N had read Cassandra's book she stole and found out some freaky shit in it. The book had a location where it all happened making Y/N investigate the area. They were caught by Hanzou and taken inside with nowhere to run.
————————————Y/N POV——————————
I looked around the dark room that Hanzou kept me in. He was currently outside on the phone, so I looked around for escape. I saw a closed window in front of me, a table with the book on top of it, and what seemed to be dry blood on the ground? I want to get out of here.
I tried as best as I could to untie myself from this chair. As I struggled I saw a knife in the corner way far away from me. I thought of a plan that might work. The knife seemed sharp enough to cut the ropes off, so I moved my chair over trying to reach it.
After a few attempts, I finally got to where the knife was. I didn't know how I would grab it, though. My hands were tied up to my back, so I couldn't grab it right away. I then got another idea, a harmful one. I threw myself to the ground with the chair still being tied to it. I rolled to my side with my back facing the knife, so I could grab the knife with my hands. I was able to take the knife with my hand.
I cut the ropes off my hands, which also hurt my wrists a bit from forcing it too much. Then, untied everything else. I walked over to the window and tried to force it open, but it was closed tightly.
"Dang it.." I said. There was only one way to do this. A quicker way. I walked a few steps back from the window and started running towards it. As soon as I started running towards the window, Hanzou opened the door watching me shatter the window open. This hurt A LOT. Way more than I thought it would.

I didn't have time to think, so I just ran away hoping Hanzou doesn't come after me. I got so tired, but didn't have time to stop. I just kept running without looking back.
I then ran into another alleyway hiding now. I sat down exhausted from running.
I took a few time there until I heard some guys laughing. I looked up and saw two guys towering above me. They were way older for sure. They got closer to me, which made me scoot a bit back.
I was about to say something until one of the older guys kicked me in the chest really hard making me lay on my stomach facing the ground. I coughed from it wanting to get up, but one of them stepped on my back making me fall back down.
"What is wrong with you?!" I said with a shaky voice. "You kid shouldn't be here. Where's your mother?" One of them said laughing.
I couldn't talk at all since I felt my lungs get squished to the ground. The guy who was stepping on my back got off me. That's when I attempted to get up again, but again got kicked in the stomach.
"Let me go," I stuttered. This was my fault for being curious and coming here. One of the guys stood and watched while smoking a cigarette, the other just beat me up damn hard.
My vision was already getting blurry until I saw someone standing in front of the two guys.
I closed my eyes falling unconscious.
———Time Skip———
I opened my eyes being able to see now. I didn't know where I was. Did I just get kidnapped again?
I sat back up and couldn't believe who I saw. I saw Cassandra leaning on the table smiling at me. "So, you're awake?" She said. "What the hell happened? Where even am I?" I told her. "You're at my house, dumb ass." She said standing up to get something.

I was just speechless. I wanted to ask more questions, but when she came back she had some drink in her hand and gave it to me. "Drink it," she said as she went back to sit down.
I drank it and it was tea I believe? I was still confused though. I also felt a little awkward.
"I'm sorry about what happened at the party. I wanted to cancel the plan, but none of them answered." Cassandra admitted looking down at the ground.
"It's alright. I had fun with you." I told her with a smile. She smiled back, but also then said, "Can you also tell me why you had my book?"
"Ah, uhm." I said nervously. I forgot I even got the book after all that. "Don't worry I'm not mad." She told me which just surprised me.
"I just got curious." I told her looking away. "Look, whatever you read in there was way before I met you. I don't plan on killing Pico anymore." She said looking a bit embarrassed. She must not be used to admitting this stuff calmly.
Her efforts made me smile though.
"Wait what time is it?" I asked her. She checked and said, "It's 5:09 AM. You should get some sleep. I'll try not to make too much noise when I wake up."
She stood up and walked me over to a spare room she had so I could stay there for the meantime. I had things to do, so I told her to wake me up early.
She understood and turned off the lights. That's when I immediately fell asleep. I'll ask her more about what happened tomorrow.

Author's Note: (This is my first story, and I would be very thankful if grammatical errors were pointed out. I could also take a few suggestions in the comments if you would. This is less a planned production, and more a little project that I'm winging as it goes. I will try and be consistent with at least 2 chapters a week. Also, as I am a completely new author, the number of words per chapter may fluctuate. The minimum will be around 1000 words, while other chapters may be 2000-3000. It will hopefully only get better with time.)
