Recap of the previous part, Y/N had the party
bringing everyone over until Cassandra's gang came over and attacked. It also meant Cassandra tricked Y/N into letting her in the party mainly to kill Pico. Nene stepped in and stabbed Cassandra making the gang run off with their leader injured. But did Cassandra really mean to trick Y/N?
————————————Y/N POV——————————
After that whole disaster, we tried to wake up Nene but it seemed like she was completely knocked out. I just put her down on the couch so she could rest for a bit.
"Y/N why did you even have the plan to bring Cassandra along?" Pico said leaning on the wall cleaning his gun with some tissue. "I couldn't say no, it was behind the school and I was afraid I was gonna get beat up. Though I also needed help with the party so count that in." I told him. He wanted to say more but stopped himself from doing so.
"I'm really sorry this didn't come out good." I told him and Darnell. "This was a bad idea after all." I continued. "It's ok it isn't your fault it's Cassandra's fault for wanting to kill Pico over there." Darnell said. I still thought it was my fault, but it also felt like I didn't want to blame it on Cassandra. Honestly, it was fun hanging out with her. I just couldn't admit it.
———————————-3rd POV———————————
A few minutes later, Nene woke up. "Ugh, what the hell happened. Is Pico ok?" She said sitting up then seeing Pico looking for something in the cabinets. "Well never mind he is," She said putting her hand on her head where they had hit her. "Is that where they hit you?" Pico asked Nene while he walked over to her with some bandages and she nodded yes.

Pico started to bandage up the area while Y/N sat thinking.
Darnell sat near Y/N and whispered them, "Hey look, it turns out it worked." Pointing to Nene and Pico. "Yeah, harshly." I told Darnell referring to the fact that they got attacked. "Don't blame yourself too much, it's not good." He told me patting me on the back and getting up to help out Pico bandage Nene's wounds.
"Thanks for saving me, Nene." Pico told her. Nene smiled and said, "Always."
————————Setting change: Alleyway——————
"Why didn't you idiots answer my messages!?" Cassandra yelled to her gang. "We didn't have our phones on us," Cyclops admitted. They were all in an alleyway with Cassandra sitting down getting bandaged by Alucard. "I can do this stuff my self you son of a bitch." Cassandra said still being pissed at them.
Alucard just let her do it and she immediately bandaged it up. "Why didn't you just shoot the damn kid?" Cyclops mentioned. Cassandra just stayed quiet. "Oh right, you got a crush on him huh?" Cyclops said mimicking a little girl's voice. Cassandra stumbled up and punched Cyclops in the face.
"Ow what the fuck? You're with the injured arm here, Ms. act tough!" Cyclops said to her face. "Call me that again and I'm bringing you to school limbless." Cassandra warned Cyclops. "This was YOUR plan, you said it would do something good yet here we are." She continued. "It didn't work because you didn't shoot him when it was part of the plan." He continued. "Well next time, get rid of that knife girl first, dumb ass." Cassandra told him
"Guys I think you should stop fighting now." Alucard said. "Oh come on, Alucard. it was getting good." Hanzou said with some popcorn on his hand. Alucard just punched him in the arm. "Ow," Hanzou said from the punch.

Cassandra sighed and sat back down trying to clear things off her mind while also listening to Hanzou's and Alucard's conversation.
"Where the fuck did you get that popcorn? We're literally in an alleyway." Alucard told him. "There's a cinema near by like two blocks away. I got it while we were heading here." Hanzou said while taking a popcorn throwing it up to the sky to catch it with his mouth. Before it landed in Hanzou's mouth Alucard made it float towards himself and ate the popcorn. "Hey the fuck is wrong with you?" Hanzou said looking mad at him now. "Sharing is caring." Alucard said giving him an evil smile.
Cassandra just laughed at that situation. At the same time, it felt like she was missing something. She just didn't know what it was.
Cyclops was just looking out to see if anyone would go inside the alleyway. "We should get going." Cyclops then said as he saw police cars go by.
They all headed back home.
———————Setting change: Y/N's house—————
"Goodbye!" Y/N said as they waved to Darnell, Nene, and Pico who were walking away back to their houses now. Y/N shut the door closed and locked it and went to the living room. They looked under the couch and saw Cassandra's gray book with the yellow pentagram on it.
Y/N had stolen the book from her when she was busy aiming the gun at Pico. They decided to hide it from everyone since who knows what Cassandra wrote in there. Y/N brought the book upstairs hoping to get something about her from the book.
But doing this just made Y/N feel guilty.

Empathic capacity of a teaspoon
Reincarnating with the gamer interface was all a part of the plan, being reborn as Ron Weasley not so much. It was something I could work with, sure. Magic is great! But as I would soon learn, it had the tendency of introducing a plethora of other issues.

Nero Zero
Monsters plagued the lands for too long. No matter if one had fangs, beak, teeth, skin, fur, or feather, or was tall, stout, or diminutive, the people suffered. Until the Gadgeteers came with a device that could allow people to fight back. Powered by one's own magical power, feeding off of monster Essence, the Arbitrium bracer turned the tables. It also changed society. Strength of one's level cap was all that mattered. The strongest were Kings and Emperors. The weak or those too poor to afford the marvelous device, destitute. And so it has been for millennia. All that mattered was one's level cap. High, low, a fate decided the moment the strange contraption came alive. Too high and you were a threat to those interested in keeping the status quo, a weed to be nipped before it could grow and take root. Too low and you were nobody, fated to be a bit more than a simple farmer. What if someone, somewhere, came up with a zero for their level cap? Unable to use Essence, unable to level up. On all of recorded history, it never happened. Until it did. In a small village of fur-less and tail-less ape-beastkin, a boy found out he was uniquely handicapped. Nero's level cap was Zero. But he'd never let that stop him from reaching his goals. ------------------------------------------------ All stories have already been told. We merely reuse elements from them. From Joseph Campbell's Monomith to Stephen King's advice, and that encyclopedia of tropes you've visited, fiction has been dissected and reassembled countless times. One will surely find elements inspired on other works here. Just like cooking from basic ingredients, the recipe and presentation is what really matter. This is a fantasy adventure, of someone that goes from a zero to a slightly bigger zero. It will have romance but no harem. Cruelty but with hope dimly shining ahead. Lightweight where it can be, heavy where it must. Thanks for reading. Cover Credits (The cover is CC-BY-NC-SA): Steampunk Spider Bracer, by Daniel Proulx. Dear Human
Nial of Grennport needs to get out of town because he just killed someone. In his own words, it was "a self defense thing." So he embarks on a pilgrimage to a mysterious magical shrine across the desert with ten other pilgrims. When the murders begin to happen, everyone suspects everyone else, and it becomes immediately clear that no one is who they claim to be. Who's the killer? Is it the pompous wizard? Is it the strange creature who's always invisible? Is it the girl Nial has a crush on? And who's next? NOTE: This work of high fantasy is complete at 120,000 words, and I'll be releasing a chapter every day or so, including weekends, unless something prevents me.

Our Shattered Realms
*This is a learning experience for me so please keep in mind that I am attempting to work on some of the issues brought to my attention early on. However I haven't yet gone back to redo the early chapters.* Less than two days ago every piece of electronics in the world stopped working for more than two hours. The death toll was immense. Hospital equipment failed, cars stopped in the middle of the street, planes fell from the sky, and homework was lost at the worst possible moment. We found out that it was just the flicker and hum of The System warming up. Now we see the true cost of our new world. A Dark comedy that focuses on a few of the many people who aren't stuck in a high level dungeon when our world is translated and joined to Our Shattered Realms. This is my first story that I have published. I welcome any criticism that you have for me. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy!
