《Enemies to lovers (Cassandra x Reader) (Pico's School)》Party plan on Act!

Recap of Previous part, Y/N had been waiting on Cassandra to walk her to where they plan to having the party. Nene gets caught in the situation, but runs off when sees Cassandra. Cassandra and Y/N walked to a store that had decorations and went back to the yard to finish decorating.
——————————-Cassandra POV————————
I finished up the last decorations already feeling exhausted from everything. Y/N had just finished as well and had already walked inside. I saw them looking worried as well, was it because of the way I talked to Nene or because of something else?
I walked inside as well and saw Y/N laying on the couch exhausted just like me. I leaned near and asked, "Hey, Y/N. I saw you worried there. Is everything alright?"
This made me feel stupid. Asking them even when I punched them during the incident made it really awkward. Maybe it's best to put the past aside.
"Yes, I'm just hoping the things I ordered get here in time." Y/N admitted.
I gave them a confused look and said, "You ordered something?"
"Mhm. It's the food and drinks, though I already have the candy inside one of the cabinets." They continued.
"So this is kind of like some child birthday party, eh?" I joked, but it looked like they took it personally, which I didn't mean to.
"No, I just have a feeling they would like candy." They said with their arms crossed.
"What time was the party starting again?" I asked. "Probably a few 48 more minutes, I think." They said, now sitting up straight and walking over to the front door.
I was gonna come along until Y/N said, "I'm gonna go get the food myself, I'll be back in a minute!"

What the hell is this bitch doing? Leaving me in charge of their house is stupid. I know they hate me, and I can't really tell if I hate them but still. Unless it was the other way around...
I just decided to chill on the couch and message Cyclops, but I sent him like 8 messages and he wouldn't respond. The same thing happened with Hanzou and Alucard.
"Stupid bastards," I told myself deciding to do something else.
I was then started to wish I had stopped Y/N from leaving since it already 6:43 pm. Meaning, the party was about to start soon. Literally, I didn't even have their phone number what the fuck am I supposed to do?
(A/N: EDITED MISTAKE. Thanks for letting me know about the pronoun problem.)
The doorbell rang and I knew it must have been one of those extra jerks that Y/N hang outs with. I'll try be nice, since that's probably what Y/N expects me to do.
I opened the door seeing that Darnell creep just staring at me with a surprised look obviously. I fake smiled at him and waved, "Hey, uhm. Darnell?" I said wanting to call him a name, but couldn't.
"Isn't this Y/N's hou-" "Yes! I'm very glad you noticed, come inside now." I interrupted him now pushing him inside the house.
He just walked outside to the yard and went to a corner. I think I pushed him a little too hard, but who cares? It's not like Y/N is here.
Then another doorbell rang. I went outside to the yard and grabbed Darnell by the arm, dragged him to the door, and told him, "You open the door."
Darnell was just shaking and nodded. He opened the door and I saw him wave hi awkwardly, but I couldn't see who had arrived.

I decided to push Darnell to the side and take over, and said, "Ok bitch just get inside the house." Then I saw Y/N with the food bags staring at me concerned now. "Well fuck."
"What the hell are you doing, Cassandra? Is Darnell ok?!" Y/N said "I'm ok," Darnell responded in the background.
"Has Nene and Pico arrived yet?" Y/N asked me as she walked inside placing the food on the counter. "Well no, not yet." I told her.
"Alright," they sighed, now going over to the yard where Darnell was going to talk to him. I got bored, so I decided to play a "little game of tricks" with Y/N.
————————————Y/N POV——————————
I was talking to Darnell trying to explain to him why Cassandra was here, but I heard the yard door open knowing it must have been her so I just changed the subject.
I saw Cassandra grab a chair and sit close to me. Like, really really close. She had her arm wrapped around me making me feel awkward.
"Cassandra what are you doing?" I asked her. "Sitting what does it look like I'm doing, dumb ass?" She said rudely which I'm sure made Darnell feel uncomfortable.
I didn't want Pico and Nene to feel uncomfortable as well when they get here, so I just took Cassandra's arm off me and whispered her, "Cut it out,"
"Aw, Cmon. Why?" Cassandra whispered back. "This is getting weird for Darnell." I whispered to her. "Uhm, am I third wheeling?" Darnell said to us worryingly, making this way more awkward than it already was.
"I- what no!" I said standing up now feeling embarrassed. Cassandra just laughed about it. Thank goodness the bell rang when I stood up. I rushed over to open the door.
When I opened the door I saw Pico and Nene having a good amount of distance from each other. Pico tried getting close to Nene, but Nene just stepped away and said, "Hi, Y/N!" completely ignoring Pico. "Hello, Nene and Pico." I said, greeting Nene with a hug.
I let them both inside the house and into the yard until I saw Cassandra and Darnell having some staring contest. Pico, in fact, didn't know Cassandra was coming along, so he took out his gun.
The gun made Darnell and Cassandra look over at Pico. I couldn't tell who lost. Cassandra stood up from her chair and said, "Wow ok, calm down. I'm only here for the party."
Pico was about to say something until Nene put her hand on his shoulder nodding no at him. It made him put his gun down.
Well at least they got a bit closer by distance? I thought.

Immovable Mage
What do you call a mage incapable of casting spells? In this story, we usually call him Terry. Faced with expulsion, Terry is blessed with the unexpected kindness of others. Terry loses his spot in the Academy but in exchange, he finds a home with a family. Terry starts to train as a pure mana cultivator but never stops looking for his own path as a mage – day after day, season after season, always searching for compatible spellwork… Until finally, Terry’s perseverance earns him a single spell – the only spell he will ever be able to cast. Disclaimers: Chapter Frequency: I aim for one chapter a week. Chapter Length: I try to keep chapters between 3000 and 6000 words. Binge Preference: I plan for 30 chapters per arc. If you want to binge a complete arc, then that is the number to wait for. I will also add a line to chapters indicating the beginning and end of an arc. Advanced Access: I have created a patreon page with early access to four chapters for patrons. What to Expect: Progression fantasy with a western fantasy setting and with eastern fantasy elements. A main character that is forced to explore a very narrow path of magic due to a permanent condition. A main character that is a part of a larger cast. A main character that is growing but won't become the strongest around anytime soon. A story following a single main character but with introduction or theme setting scenes without the main character. What Not to Expect: Edgy grimdark characters – I will never write a sexual violence scene or gory descriptions of torture. I hate reading it and I would hate writing it even more. Romance – romantic relationships will never be the focus of the story and only appear in the background. The main character is preoccupied with other stuff. Other forms of relationships (family, friends, companions) play a bigger role. Cover: The cover art was commisioned from redditor Linh-Nguyen87. The font is alita brush by Inovatype Typefoundry. Overview: 001–030 Arc 1, Cultivating Perseverance: complete. 031–060 Arc 2, Undying Defiance: complete. 061–090 Arc 3, Unyielding Fury: scheduled for publishing. 091–120 Arc 4, Savage Hope: scheduled for publishing. 121–150 Arc 5, Self-Made Fate: first draft in progress. 151–180 Arc 6, Heretic Style: sketching in progress. Further Arcs are still in the sketching and idea collection phase.
