《Enemies to lovers (Cassandra x Reader) (Pico's School)》Planning

Recap of previous part, Cassandra had assigned some meeting behind the school outside to tell Y/N she should go to the party they were having. Y/N had no choice but to let her go over since they had just started planning out the party and only a few hours until it starts.
———————————Y/N POV———————————-
I walked out of the school exactly at 3:09 watching Pico and Darnell leave the school. About a few minutes I saw Nene walk out as well, but it looked like she was coming towards me.
"Hey, you're the new student, right?" She asked, trying to avoid the past and smile at me.
"Yup, that's me. Though I would rather not be called 'the new student' I just go by Y/N." I told her. She understood and nodded.
I remembered Cassandra was soon, also gonna come out the school so I could walk her to where we were attending the party, so I told Nene, trying not to sound rude, "I think you should go now, I'm waiting for someone and I don't want to keep you here waiting as well."
"Alright,.." she said getting suspicious which is the least I wanted from her. "Who exactly are you waiting for?"
This made me get really nervous until I saw someone tap Nene's shoulder.
"She's waiting for me, dumb ass." The person said behind Nene causing Nene to turn around quickly to see Cassandra staring at her dead in the eyes.
Shit, really Cassandra? I thought, also noticing Nene had a surprised look on her face.
"Why the hell would you want to go with her!?" Nene said knowing the things Cassandra's done. She still never told me about why she was with Cassandra's group during the fire alarm incident, but it must not have been good.

"Listen, Nene. I'm going to that party you're going to with your kiddie friend group. You better go or else I'm haunting you for life." Cassandra said, once again in her serious tone.
Nene gulped, nodded, and rushed away.
"Well that was another way to put it," I told Cassandra upset at her for doing that.
"Yeah, whatever. Just lead me to the damn place everyone already left the school." She said avoiding eye contact.
I brought Cassandra to my house and into the backyard I had that was pretty big somehow. I thought it would come in use of something when I first saw it, and I was correct.
"We should start decorating we've still got time since it's 3:47 pm." I told her, now realizing I didn't buy the decorations. She looked at me and said, "You didn't buy the decorations, did you."
I nodded no. "Tsk, without me you would have gotten nothing done." She bragged now walking back inside the house.
"Are you coming?" She yelled from inside the house, now making me realize we were actually going to go shop for the decorations. I rushed over to her trying to catch up.
——— time skip ———
We found a shop with party decorations and went inside. I was exhausted from all the walking, but Cassandra had a shit ton of energy. She started putting on the party masks attempting to scare me with them while I was trying to find the decorations.
I went into the next isle until I saw this monster peek out from the corner making me yell. The monster took off it's mask and it was Cassandra actually succeeding. "Are you kidding me, Cassandra? You're supposed to be helping," I told her, but she was dying of laughter so I'm sure she must have not heard me.

"Come on," I said now grabbing her by the arm and pulling her around the store, so she doesn't plan anything else. It made people stop to stare at us, but I didn't care. I just wanted to start decorating soon and leave the store.
Cassandra kept whining and saying, "Let me gooo."
I didn't of course, but she, for some reason, let me drag her around. I was sure she had the strength to punch me and run, but she didn't do, so I was relieved of that.
"You're making me look like a child, y/n." Cassandra said whining even more. "Well yeah, clearly, you act like one." I told her looking through some balloons.
"Aren't we supposed to be having fun? Shopping is boring." She said, making me more frustrated.
"We can have fun once the party starts, right now, we don't have time." I told her keeping my cool, but by the looks of it, Cassandra knew what she was doing. I'm sure she was trying to see my angry side, since I caught her smirking from each time I told her to stop.
We finally brought the things to the cashier and bought the items. For some reason, it felt like shopping took forever. When I checked the time, it had been only 34 minutes from when we had left the house.
———Time Skip———
I brought the bags with the decorations inside with Cassandra holding the other bags. We brought them into the yard and started decorating. There was no need to buy any food, since I had already ordered the exact things we needed. Though, I wasn't sure they would get there in time.
It made me worry a little. I tried putting some decorations on a tree branch, but I couldn't reach. I just thought of climbing up there, so it could be easier. I started to climb up the tree hearing Cassandra say, "What the hell are you doing?"
"I'm climbing the tree to put decorations, duh." I told her making her laugh a bit.
"You're gonna fall if you don't be careful!" She laughed even more.
"Oh, trust me, I've been climbing trees ever since I was a child! It should be easy, don't worry about me." I said causing Cassandra to continue decorating but also keep an eye on me.
I finished decorating the tree from above, but there was one problem. I didn't know how to get down. I looked down getting scared from how far I was from the ground.
"Uhm, Cassandra?"
"Yes?"
"I need help."
Cassandra started laughing her guts out now. I just sat back feeling embarrassed. "I thought you said you were climbing trees since you were a child!" She said still laughing.
"Well yeah! I said climbing! Not getting down!" Getting even more embarrassed. "Alright, alright. Just jump down and I'll catch you."
I thought to myself, Was she being serious right now? Until I saw her standing near the tree holding her arms out ready to catch me, once again, smiling. It made me think I couldn't trust her, but maybe I should.
I just closed my eyes and jumped. She caught me easily somehow, and put me down. "See? Easy." Cassandra said going back to decorating.
"How were you able to catch me so easily?" I asked. She said, "It's pretty easy when I've dealt with idiots that climb on rooftops," which I'm sure she meant her gang.
We decided to continue decorating until we finished.

Horizon
Emiluna is about to turn 16 and gain access to her first two classes. Living in a small village in the middle of nowhere, she always wanted to become a Hunter. Having learned a bit under her parents, a miller and a seamstress, she was sure she could never pick a class that meant staying inside all day. But being a Hunter is more than just a class. It means providing meat for the village, culling small pests near the cultivated fields and most importantly guarding the village from predators and monsters. But Emiluna is not a normal girl and her destiny far bigger than she could have ever imagined.Join her as she finds out what awaits just behind the horizon.[Word from the author]I am looking to create a fantasy world that has some logic to it and stays believable even as characters gain power and progress in levels.Classes and level quantify the people's progress, but they do not artificially inflate their power to demi-god levels. I am primarily trying to write a captivating story, not "power-porn". That means it will be slower than the fast burning litRPG you might be used to, but it won't burn out that quickly either and I won't drop half of my plots at the wayside. I should mention that English is not my native language. I hope it is mostly unnoticeable, but sometimes I manage to slip some awkard sentence structure in there (German sometimes puts things together in reverse). It it also my first time writing an actual fantasy novel and the first time writing anything at length in English. Any constructive feedback is very welcome.Credit where credit is due: Cover picture by Paul Bica (Licensed under CC 2.0)Check out his amazing photos here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/dexxusYes, my cover picture is a photo, not a drawing. :D I might try my hand at some Paint-ification later to add the title.[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
