《Enemies to lovers (Cassandra x Reader) (Pico's School)》The conflict

Continuing from previous part, Cassandra had made a deal with Y/N and Pico, releasing Nene from what seemed like a guy with a pink mohawk. Both groups left the teachers lounge back outside now, but what waited for them was something much more.
———————————Y/N POV———————————
I walked outside with Pico and who seems to be the girl called Nene. Pico looked like he seemed upset at something which I couldn't tell what, and Nene looked angry at Pico I believe? I didn't want to stare because it would make it awkward if I made eye contact with them both.
We walked outside back to the groups, luckily, without getting caught. The teachers seemed to be dealing with a group of kids who had put gum in someone's hair. And no, not metaphorically.
We sat back down with Darnell worryingly waiting for us. He seemed to be relieved when he saw us walking out with Nene.
"Finally, you guys came!" Darnell whispered smiling lightly. "We got into a bit of trouble, but it's over." I said.
"Also, what's up with Pico and Nene? She looks mad at Pico for some reason ever since we got her out of the situation." I whispered to Darnell. Pico was too distracted to hear and Nene looked like she was distracted as well not saying a single word since we had left the teachers lounge.
"They got into some argument, it's why Nene wasn't there with us when Pico introduced you to me." Darnell whispered back. "Ah, I see. Let's talk about this more later. It looks like the principal just walked out of the school." Darnell nodded as we saw the Principal walk out the building with the two teachers.
——————————— 3rd POV ———————————
"So, students." The principal said with a smile. "The school is fine, we found out that the problem was only mice that had crawled to the fire alarm system and messed some wires." Y/N looked at Cassandra sitting with her gang on the other group smiling and giggling at each other. She must've planned it all.

"Don't worry, though. We will get a technician to fix it. Now everyone back inside," The principal announced making the teachers get their students get back up to go back into the classrooms.
Y/N, Pico, Nene, and Darnell walked inside feeling way too awkward. "Hey uhm, is it ok if I talk to Darnell privately?" Y/N said to Nene and Pico.
Nene shrugged not caring and Pico just nodded.
Darnell and Y/N walked over to the other hallway near a water fountain. "So, Darnell. I really hate this awkwardness we have to make those two get along." Y/N said with Darnell completely agreeing.
"Why did they get into an argument?" Y/N asked. "Well, Nene had this party planned out before you arrived to the school and Pico decided not to come over since he had something to deal with?" Darnell said trying to think of what else happened.
"And when Pico told Nene he wasn't coming, Nene started joking about how he was gonna go out with Cassandra on a date, which I'm sure Pico got mad of." Darnell continued. "Pico told him he wasn't on the first time, but Nene insisted and continued saying it that even Cassandra heard. It made her get into the conversation and they had this huge fight where they started beating each other up. Then, they got in trouble and got sent to the principals office." Darnell said finishing the story.
"Jeez, it must've been bad." Y/N said trying to think of a way to fix things up. "Yeah I tried stopping them, but at the same time, I was getting pushed by others who were trying to watch the fight."
"Hey, what about we do that party?" Y/N said. Darnell looked at Y/N in complete shock. "I'm not sure that's a good idea... It would just remind them even more of what happened."

"Nah, trust me. At the end of the day, they'll be wanting to hang out way more than usual." Y/N said with a smile.
"If you say so then, let's go for it." Darnell said smiling nervously still being unsure of this.
Y/N and Darnell walked back to Pico and Nene. Little did they know, Cassandra heard their plans from the hallway and planned to ruin them.

Six centuries into the future and light-years into outer space, the only thing that has not changed is the struggles of the human condition. The desires for power, love and survival persist in Tales of the Terrace Republic, a military space thriller that forges one flawed everyman into a hero. The Terrace Navy puts him at the helm of a meager torpedo boat – a career-ending assignment. 8 260Northwoods Trapper
In the wild places of our planet, dark vestiges of our paranormal past yet cling to twisted life. In the past, the hunters and trappers of the world were tasked with removing such blights from society's fringes - legal assassins, enlisted to enforce the will of civilization against those unnatural, otherworldly hosts. Nowadays, we're not so lucky. With the idea of proper monster-hunting fading from public perception, the once-prestigious mantle is donned by amateurs, hobbyists, and self-taught warriors. It pays poorly, it's dangerous, and people would rather do something that gets them rich or famous or drowning in attention. Most often, new-age monster hunters are born from tragedy. They lack the tact, training, and funding of hunters passed. Instead, they have only their wits and brawn to carry them through. So it is with our hero. In the woods of the American Midwest, foul creatures lurk. Tabitha Varna, a young college drop-out scarred by her past, is determined to uproot them or die trying. Sometimes she hopes for both.[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

8 216The Day She Left Him
September 16, 2012 was no ordinary day for Lisa. It was the Sunday that changed her life forever. After 6 hard years, the grueling battle to keep her marriage intact had left her feeling empty and drained. Her eyes were dry as she packed her luggage that morning. They were still dry when she sat down and wrote the letter he would read when he returned home later that day. If he returns home at all...
