Draco sighed and looked at the clock. It was already 6pm (18:00) and you still didn't come home yet. Dinner was ready and Scorpius was already sitting at the table.

Draco saved you A plate and brought the rest of the food to the table. Scorpius looked up again.

'Let me guess.. mum isn't going to make it?' He asked.

'She isn't here yet so I'm afraid not.'

Draco put down Scorpius' plate and they started eating.

'I mean.. I'm having a holiday and I hardly see here. It's like she doesn't even live here.'

'I'm sure she will find time. I mean.. she's the ministres of magic.'

'She's married to her job now.' Scorpius sighed. 'Don't you miss her?'

Draco did miss you. He missed you so much. He saw you for like an hour a day. You got up early and went to bed late. Always working. He didn't want to stop you because you worked so hard to get there.

'Of course I miss her.' Draco said.

'I'm proud of mum but I wish that she wouldn't work all the time.'

'I'm sure it'll get better.'

Scorpius raised his brows.

'It's been this way for over a year.'

'I'll talk to her.. okay?'

At 9.30 pm (21:30) you finally came home. Draco was standing in the kitchen next to your cold plate of food. You put down your back and looked around. You walked into the kitchen. Draco looked at you and smiled.

'Hey stranger.' He said.

You walked over to him. Before you could even kiss him Draco held up your plate of food.

'I ate at work..' You said.

Draco put it down again and sighed.

'Are you okay?' You asked,clearly noticing that something was wrong.

Draco looked at you.

'I missed you.' He just said.

'I miss you too, but I'm here now.' You smiled before giving him and small kiss.

You grabbed the papers from work which you still had to arrange. You put them down on the kitchen table.

'Back to work again?' Draco asked.

'Yeah, I'm first going to say hi to Scorpius.'

You made your way up to your sons room. You opened the door.

'Oh.. Hi mum.'

Scorpius was just studying on his bed. Even during the holidays he tried his best to study from time to time.

'Hi.' You smiled.

You sat down besides him. Scorpius hugged you right away. You held him tightly and hugged him back.

'Mum... I think you should talk to dad.'

You let him go and looked at him.

'We just talked.'

'No I mean.. I have to tell you something.'

That made you worry a bit.

'What's wrong?'

'We miss you. You're always working. Dad is lucky that I'm here. Without me he's all alone after work. You're never home. Dad doesn't dare to tell you that he misses you because he knows how hard you worked to get to where you are. He just really.. really misses you.'

You couldn't believe that you didn't notice it. Suddenly you realised how much you had been working.

'And I do too.'

You felt very bad. You hated yourself right now.

'Scorpius, I'm so sorry.. I..'

'It's okay mum.. I just thought you should know.'

After you finished your talk with Scorpius you walked downstairs. You saw Draco in the living room, looking at your wall of pictures. You then saw the look on his face and it broke your heart. Tears jumped into your eyes and you felt guilty.

'Draco..'

He turned to you. You walked over to him and hugged him. Draco hugged you back right away.

'I just talked to Scorpius.. I'm so sorry that my work is taking up so much time.'

'Don't be sorry.. It's okay. It'll get easier.' He said.

'But Scorpius said that you really miss me.'

'I do miss you but it's fine.. as long as you come home and I can at least see you for a few minutes.'

You looked at him and kissed him. Draco kissed you back and pulled you closer to him. You pulled back and looked at him.

'I'll try to work less. I promise..'

'You're job is very important. I get it Y/N. Don't worry about me. Just do what you have to do.'

The next day you left your office and 1 pm (13:00). You cancelled all your meetings. After yesterday you decided to take 3 days off. You wanted to spend time with your family. Besides, you were exhausted. You took a deep breath and walked into your house.

You hung up your coat and took of your shoes before tossing you bag to the side. You walked into the living room. Scorpius looked up.

'Mum?!'

He got up and ran to you right away. He hugged you and you hugged him back.

'I took 3 days off.' You smiled.

'You did what?' Draco asked.

You looked up and smiled at him.

'I couldn't leg my boys miss me.' You smiled. 'Besides, I'm exhausted.'

Draco made his way over to you and hugged you tightly.

'I'm so glad you're here. These are going to be the best three days ever.' Draco smiled before kissing you.
