Snape was absolutely broken by your death. He missed you so much. He hadn't loved anyone since Lily and now he also lost you. He wished he confessed to you earlier.
He was strolling down the corridors around midnight, unable to sleep. You kept him up every night. Dumbledore tried to talk to him but it didn't really work. He just couldn't get over you.
Snape stopped and took a deep breath. He looked at the lake through the open spaces in the wall. You loved to sit there and read, or talk to him. If he didn't ask you to take that walk with him, you might have still been awake. He couldn't help but blame himself.
'God..' he mumbled.
He'd do anything to bring you back. To just hold you once more.. to talk to you once more. He had to stop torturing himself so he continued walking.
He walked through a door and closed it behind you. He glanced into the corridor. He was something in the distance.
'Hello?' He said, wondering if he or she would walk away.
Maybe it was a student out of bed? He slowly walked closer. He then recognised it.
'Y/N?'
He walked a little closer. It was you? Definitely. Snape started running. He couldn't think about anything else, his couldn't see clearly but he kept running. When he came close to you he opened his arms to hug you. You were facing him, smiling. When he wanted to hug you he ran straight through you. He stopped and looked at his arms..
He turned around. He then saw it.. You turned towards him, wearing the smile he loved.
'Hi Severus.' You smiled.
You were a ghost.. He couldn't believe this. He got up and reached out to you. His hand went straight through you.

'Y/N?' He asked.
'Yeah.. look I'm a ghost. Awesome right.' You smiled.
He smiled at your remark and nodded.
'I missed you.' He said.
'I missed you too.'
You floated over to him and stopped infront of him. Snape couldn't stop looking at your face. It was the same but it lacked colour.
'So.. how have you been?' You asked him.
'It's hard.' He said. 'Living without you. I wish I didn't take you on that walk.. You might have lived now. I might have been able to confess to you and have a few days with you together.'
You didn't know he was blaming himself for what happened. You were very sick before that walk already. It wasn't his fault. It was your time to go.
'Don't blame yourself. It wasn't your fault. It was my time to go.'
'No it wasn't. You were doing kind of okay before that all.'
'That's not true Severus.'
He sighed and you saw a the sadness in his eyes. You knew it wasn't the same.. You were a ghost now. He couldn't hold you or kiss you.
'I'm sorry..' You said.
Snape looked up. He didn't get why you were apologising.
'For what?'
'I know it's not the same.. I should have confessed you to before. I'm a ghost.. I can't hold you.. I can't be with you.. it's not the same. I'm sorry that I'm not the same.'
Snape didn't get why you were apologising. He was so happy to see you. He was glad that you were there. You couldn't do anything about it. This was so much better then you being dad.
'Don't apologise!' He immediately said. 'This is so much better then you being dead. I mean.. I love you. It's great to see you.'

You smiled.
'I love you too.'
You wished you could hug him right now but it was okay. As long as he was there.
'I hope you're staying around.' He smiled.
'Of course.' You smiled.
'Where else would I go?' You asked him.
'I don't know. Home?'
'I'm a ghost. I don't have a home.' You grinned. 'Should you go to bed?' You asked him.
Snape nodded.
'I'll come with you.' You smiled.
You and Snape starting going towards his room. Happy that you two were together again.

The Emperor's Concubine
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] The heroine is good and the villainess is evil. That was the absolute truth. That rule was undeniable as well as the fact that only the heroine would receive true love and her happy ending. Likewise, the malicious villainess would always suffer and leave the stage to clear the path for the perfect heroine in the end. So, for Blanche it felt like her world came crashing around her when she remembered the truth about her life. As the villainess in the typical romance novel “To Be Empress” she was fated to be condemned and abandoned by her lover. No matter how devoted she was to Theodore Estien, the emperor of Artias, she would only be the bratty concubine that would obstruct the heroine, who happened to be Theodore's lawful wife and the empress. In the end, the villainess would be deserted and executed. It was destined to happen like this, and yet she couldn't give up. She had to change the future. Preventing the romance between the main characters would get her killed. Much like trying to steer away from the enemies' intrigues, in which she was already caught up, would. But neither the heroine nor the emperor's political rivals would change the fact that Blanche loved the man that was supposed to be the heroine's. And no matter what happened she would always stay by her lover's side. So she wouldn't just follow the book's storyline and let her own doom arrive. Blanche would survive while trying to suppress all of the selfish desires that had made her the villainess. But was she truly fine with that? Did she not desire more than just surviving? Did she even have the right? Could the villainess ask for a happy end? Was she too brazen if she just wanted to stay with the man she loved and receive his affection? And wasn't there a bit more to this novel than she remembered? She didn't know and in the end that mattered little when the world around her changed with each day as more and more questions about the future and the past arose. "The Emperor's Concubine" will be updated thrice a week (usually on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) *The Profanity tag was added due to the characters' occasional swearing, which should not happen too often.

She died four months ago. It was said that she was crossing when the red SUV sped down the road. It was said that if she had left just three seconds later, the SUV would have passed by. They said it was an accident. But they didn't see what I saw. They didn't say what I said. And it's slowly killing me. The guilt is clawing at my insides like a dying cat. Was I the reason Hope was dead? Did I drive her to insanity and beyond? If I am, why would she come back and offer me a chance? A chance to fix everything. A chance to bring her back from the dead. A chance that I simply can't refuse.
