You sighed and turned around once again while glancing over your shoulder into the mirror. You couldn't believe Fred actually asked you! Your dress was all ready to go.

'You look amazing!' Your Hufflepuff best friend said.

You turned to her and smiled.

'Thank you.'

'Fred is probably already waiting for you.'

You smile grew a little wider.

'I think he is.' You blushed. 'I should go. I'll see you around.'

You walked towards the great hall. You looked around trying to find Fred. You walked down the stairs in front of the entrance of the great hall. Fred was talking to George and Angelina. George bumped his brothers shoulder with his elbow and Fred turned around. He looked at you in awe.

'Blimey Y/N..' He said.

He grabbed your hand and helped you down the final steps.

'You look.. absolutely amazing..' Fred smiled.

You blushed and thanked him.

'You look great too!' You said.

He offered you his hand. You grabbed it and the widest smile grew on your face. He took you to George and Angelina.

'You look amazing, Y/N.'

Angelina hugged you. You and Angelina were friends. You had been since the first year of Hogwarts.

'You look great too.. everyone does... I'm sorry.. almost everyone.' You said while glancing at Ron. 'Is that Ginnys?' You asked Fred.

Fred laughed and shook his head.

'They're dressrobes.' He explained.

'Luckily we did get a normal outfit.' George grinned.

You laughed lightly. Then you decided to walked into the great hall and wait for the champion dance. You and Fred weren't a official couple.. but you did like him.. a lot. When the champions came in Fred let your hand go and he applauded. You applauded too and they slowly started dancing. You were focussed on Harry who had no idea what he was doing.

Slowly more people joined in. Fred glanced at you and he leaned in.

'May I have this dance?' He asked.

Your head turned as red as his hair while you nodded and grabbed his hand. He took you to the dance floor. As soon as his hand touched your waist you felt butterflies fly through your stomach. He led you along the floor, matching the other people. Luckily you were quite a good dancer.

You enjoyed every step but it didn't take that long. The music stopped and everyone started chatting. A few seconds later more music started playing. This time it was rock music. You and Fred joined George, Angelina, Hermione and Viktor. You all started dancing and you were having an amazing time.

Fred couldn't stop looking at you and you couldn't stop smiling. He grabbed your hand and spun you around. You laughed and almost fell when you finally stopped. Fred held you until you were able to stand on your heels again.

'Sorry.' You screamed over the music.

'Don't worry about it! You want to get a drink?!' He asked.

You nodded and you followed Fred out of the crowd. You sighed.

'Finally I can properly hear you.' You said.

'Tell me about it. It's so busy. Look at that.'

You looked at the group of students infront of the stage.

'Wicked.' You two said at the same time.

You giggled and walked with him towards the drinks. You grabbed some pumpkin juice. Fred grabbed some as Well.

'Cheers.' He smiled while sticking out his cup.

'Cheers.' You said and you bumped your cup against his.

You took a long sip. It was hot. You lowered your cup and looked at Fred.

'Thank you.' You said.

'For what?' He asked.

'For asking me.'

'You're thanking me for asking you?' Fred asked with a small grin.

'Yes.. if I could chose anyone at this school who I'd want to go with.. It would be you. So thank you.'

Freds smile grew wider.

'No problem.. I'm just happy you said yes.'

Fred wanted to step in to hug you but Hermione and Krum interfered.

'Come on guys! Let's get some more drinks! You two are coming with us.' Hermione smiled.

You looked at Fred.

'Actually.. Y/N and I were planning on taking this to a more quiet place for a moment. My ears hurt.'

'You sure?' Hermione asked.

'Yes.' You said.

Fred offered you his hand and he took you towards the corridor.

'Didn't you want to hang out with Hermione and Krum?' You asked.

'That's not it. I just wanted to talk to you for a moment.'

He leaned against a wall and finished his drink. You looked at him.

'What's up?' You asked.

Fred played with his empty cup and looked at it. It was as if he didn't quite know if he should say what he wanted to say. He looked up, determination in his eyes.

'Y/N.. I think you're the most beautiful girl that attending Hogwarts at this point.'

You smiled with red cheeks.

'Well.. thank you.'

'Y/N..' He said.

You looked at him.

'I know you don't believe me. And I know you don't think that you're that beautiful.. but you are. And you're not only the most beautiful one. You're the funniest, kindest, most amazing girl at Hogwarts and I wish that you were my girlfriend. That's why I asked you.. I knew I couldn't stand it if you were here with someone else.'

You looked at him a bit flustered.

'You want me to be your girlfriend?' You asked.

Fred nodded. You smiled and stepped closer to him. You grabbed his empty cup and put it on the floor. You grabbed his chin and forced him to look at you.

'I thought you'd never tell me that.' You said before shortly pressing your lips against his.
