After Dumbledore found you he brought you to the hospital wing. You couldn't tell him who did it. You liked Tom to much.. You couldn't tell him that he tortured you. You knew it was crazy that you couldn't, seeing that it was horrible what he did to you.

'Are you sure you don't remember who did it? I hear the name Tom Riddle a lot amongst students.' Dumbledore said.

'I really don't know.' You lied.

Dumbledore sighed and got up.

'Get some rest. And if you remember anything, let me know.'

He walked away and you sighed. You laid your head back onto the soft pillow and sighed. The nurse entered the room.

'You can go. Make sure you take a bit of rest. You haven't fully regained your strength yet. Go to bed early.' She smiled.

You nodded and slowly got up. She helped you out of bed and you started walking towards the common room. You kept looking around, scared that you would find Tom. But instead you found the Slytherin boy that helped you out.

'Oh.. I'm glad to see that you're okay.' He said.

'Yeah.. I'm good.' You said and you cranked up a smile. 'Thank you for trying to help.. no one really did something about it.'

'Of course.' He said. 'I'm Jamie by the way.'

'Pleasure.. I'm Y/N.' You smiled. 'But I have to get going. The nurse said I need to get some rest.'

'Of course. I'll see you around.'

You walked away towards the common room. When you were there you walked inside and sat down on one of the leather couches. You closed your eyes for a moment.

'I saw you with Dumbledore.' You heard.

You opened your eyes and saw Tom walking into the common room. You looked away from him.

'You told him.. didn't you?' He asked in disgust.

'I didn't.' You said.

You looked at him and he was a bit confused.

'Why not?' He asked.

You sighed and got up.

'Because you were right.' You said. 'Besides I just couldn't.'

Tom walked closer to you but it didn't matter how close you wanted him to be your body just moved away from him.

'I'm not going to do anything to you.' He sighed.

You sighed and forced you body to stand still. Tom didn't come to close but close enough for you to see his clear eyes.

'You would never say that I'm right.' He said.

'I told you I learned my lesson. You were right. I should have brought up your parents, I am a disappointment to my parents. You were absolutely right and I'm sorry. The fight wasn't even about your parents.. I just.. I don't know. That was my fault. So I couldn't tell Dumbledore.' You just said.

Tom was flustered by your change. He actually felt guilty towards you. He almost drove you to kill yourself. He said horrible things to you. He used crucio on you.. and you didn't do anything about it. He saw how exhausted you were. He saw that somewhere deep down you still liked him. Even though he did this to you.

'I'm going to bed.. bye Riddle.'

You walked passed him towards the girldorm. Tom wanted to turn around and apologise but he was to surprised and moved that he couldn't turn around and stop you. When he finally processed everything you were already gone.

He sighed and he couldn't believe what just happened. He sat down and moved his hand through his hair.

'Oh.. it's you.'

Tom looked up and rolled his eyes at Jamie.

'What?' He asked.

'Nothing. I'm going.'

'You tortured a girl. You won't be around long.'

'I will be. She didn't tell anyone. So.. fuck you.'

Tom walked away leaving Jamie.

The next morning you decided to take some time for yourself after class. You sat down at the lake and sighed.

You couldn't believe that you still like Tom after what he did to you. You really thought it was your fault. You deserved the torture.. it was insane that you thought that.

'Can we talk?'

You looked back and saw Tom. You nodded and he sat down besides you.

'Listen..' He stopped for a moment. 'Y/N..' He then said. 'I'm sorry..'

You looked at him. Tom was apologising? You then noticed the bags under his eyes.

'Are you okay?' You just asked.

'What? I am.. are you asking that because I'm apologising?' He asked.

'Also.. You look a bit stressed.'

'Oh.. yeah.. I felt really bad after what I did to you. You're not a dissapointed, you didn't deserve what I did to you. I'm so happy that you didn't tell Dumbledore. So so happy. I haven't slept. I had nightmares.. of what I did to you. I don't know why. I also have feelings you know. I might not always show them or be able to control them..'

'I know..'

You bit your lip. Tom just kept looking at you.

'You know what's crazy.. I said I didn't care about what you thought of me. But I do.. I care a lot. Even after what you did to me. I don't get my own brain. I know you don't like me.. But I just can't stop liking you.'

You didn't even care that you were telling him this.

'Love is weird.' Tom said.

You grinned lightly.

'Yeah.'

Tom sighed and rubbed his eyes.

'I just hope you can forgive me.. Even though I did something unforgivable.'

You looked at him.

'I can..'

'Really?' He immediately asked.

'Yes.'

A small smile appeared on his lips.

'You're the only person that makes me feel anger.. or guilt.. or sadness.' Tom said. 'I guess the emotions just became to much.'

'I get it Tom.'

He looked at you.

'I-I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to-'

'It's fine.' He interrupted you.

You looked at him. His eyes stared back into yours. The silence wasn't awkward at all. You just looked at each other and tried to get over what happened. Tom moved some hair out of face after a while. You blushed lightly.

'How can you like someone who's such an idiot like I am. I've done horrible things..'

You shrugged.

'I don't know.. maybe you can change with a little love..'

Tom didn't hesitate and pressed his lips against yours. You kissed him back and wrapped your hands around him. He pulled back and looked at you.

'I'm ready to find the answer to that hypothesis.' Tom smiled.
