You nevervously walked towards the lake. When you came back to Hogwarts you were ready for Jane's constant teasing.
Every since Jane found out you were gay, she told everyone. Now all the girls avoided you. You already were a Slytherin and hated by almost other people for being one.. this didn't help.
But now Jane and her group of friends suddenly invided you to hang out with them. You knew they were probably going to embarrasse you. But you didn't care. You had a massive crush on Jane and this would be your only chance to hang out with her. That's also why you just accepted her teasing.
'Look, the gay girl arrive.' Karin, a friend of Jane, said.
'Why wouldn't she? She can't say no to a group of girls hanging out.' Jane laughed.
'If she hits on me, I'm out of here.' Diana, another girl, said.
You sighed and sat down in the grass.
'Why did you guys even invite me?' You asked.
'Just to have some fun. We're playing truth or dare.' Jane smirked.
'So again, why did you guys invite me?'
'Shut up and play, or leave.' Diana sighed.
You rolled your eyes and sighed.
'Okay, I'll start.' Jane smiled. 'Karin, truth or dare?' Jane asked.
'I'm going with truth.' She said.
'Okay, Have you ever cheated on any test?'
'What a boring question.' Diana sighed.
'Just answer it.' Jane sighed.
Karin was quiet and thought for a while.
'I did.. last year in potions. Diana helped me.' She laughed.
Diana giggled.
'Okay, my turn! Y/N! Truth or dare?' Karin asked.
You sighed.
'Truth.'
'Did you.. ever have a girlfriend?' Karin asked.
You shook your head.
'I didn't.'

'Why not? Is it because nobody like you?'
You rolled your eyes and didn't even want to answer. It was awful. You shouldn't have come.
'Diana.. truth or dare?' You asked.
'Dare!'
You thought for a moment.
'Do an impression of your most annoying teacher.'
Diana got up and coughed a few times. She then stared at you with a blank face. She started imitating one of your teachers. You chuckled and she sat down again. Around you Jane and Karin were laughing.
'Jane.. truth or dare?' Diana asked.
'Dare.' She said.
'I dare you.. to go on a date with Y/N.' She smirked.
Your cheeks shot red and you looked at Jane.
'W-What?! No we didn't agree to this!'
'We dared you. You have to.' Karin smiled.
Jane looked at you. You looked away from here.
'I don't want to play anymore.' You said and you got up.
'Y/N!'
You turned around.
'Tomorrow.. after class.' Jane sighed.

The next day after class you quickly hurried towards the common room. You ran upstairs and grabbed one of your dresses. You weren't really the dress type but you wanted to look good for you date with Jane.
Your heart was beating loud.. You knew it was a dare but you were nervous as hell. You took a deep breath and walked downstairs. You two decided to meet in the great hall. You could get something to drink there and then you would go to the forest where hopefully no-one would see you two.
You walked into the common room. Jane walked towards you and pushed a goblet with some pumpkin juice into your hand. She immediately walked away. You followed her into the forest. She was dressed in her robes. Probably didn't even go to the common room.

'You're enjoying this, aren't you?' She hissed while you stopped somewhere in the forest.
'What do you mean?' You asked.
'You're wearing a dress?! Seriously?! We're not on a real date.'
'Yes we are. It was a dare.' You said. 'We can go sit here and be all angry at each other, or we could just have a good time.'
'I'd go with the first one.' She hissed and she sat down in the grass.
You sat down besides her and took a sip from your pumpkin juice.
'I'm an okay person, Jane.. I don't get why you had to let me down. Yes, I'm gay. But that doesn't mean I like every girl I come across. A lot of people don't understand that.' You said.
'Let you down? We were never friends.'
'You call me Y/N.' You said.
'That doesn't mean we're friends.'
You sighed and took another sip of your drink.
'I should have gotten something stronger.'
'We're in third year.' You grinned.
'So?' She asked.
'We wouldn't get anything.'
She didn't answer and finished the rest of her drink. She sighed.
'This is bullshit. This was not what was planned.' She sighed.
'No you just wanted to embarrass me.. not yourself.'
Jane looked at you.
'How do you know?' She asked.
You grinned and looked at her.
'You invited me.. You all hate me. Besides, who doesn't want to pick on the gay kid. I bet there are more people at this school who are gay. They just don't want to come out.'
You finished your drink and sighed.
'We don't hate you... we just-'
'Dislike you because you're different. I heard that before.'
You looked into the forest and it was quiet.
'I just love the sound of birds and the outdoors.'
'Same.' Jane said. 'You can just completely relax.'
'The best part is when it's early spring and you can-'
'Hear the baby birds?' Jane asked.
You smiled and nodded. This was odd. She liked the forest just like you did. Just like the birds.. and spring.
'So.. lovely weather.. am-'
'Please Jane.. small talk? Seriously?' You asked while raising your brows.
'What else should I do? I never dated a girl before.'
'It's the same as dating a boy. What would ask a boy?'
She was quiet for a while.
'So.. lovely weather.. am I right?' She said.
You facepalmed yourself.
'Jane.. what's your favourite subject and why?' You asked.
'Potions, because it's just awesome.' Jane said.
'O my god same.' You smiled. 'I mean, I want to become a potions master.' You said.
'You can do that. I heard you're pretty good at potions.'
'I don't really do anything else then studying..'
You and Jane started getting along better. You had a lot in common and it was amazing. Even Jane had a good time. It was getting late and it was almost dinner time.
'Well.. That turned out better then I thought.' You smiled.
'It did.. we should hang out more often.'
You blushed and smiled.
'Sure. You know where to find me.'
