You sighed and nervously walked towards the door of the burrow. You couldn't believe this was finally happening. You were going to meet George his family.

You and George had been dating for half a year now. He was the sweetest boyfriend ever. You sighed to calm yourself and knocked on the door.

'I'll get it!' George said.

He opened the door and immediately smiled when he saw you.

'Y/N.. You look amazing.' He smiled.

'Thank you.' You blushed. 'I'm so nervous. What if they don't like me?'

'They will like you, I promise.' He smiled. 'Come on in.'

You stepped into the burrow and it was a nice, warm home. You smiled and looked around.

'Mum, dad! Y/N is here!' He yelled upstairs.

You expected that only his mum and dad would come down stairs but the entire Weasley family stormed downstairs. You took a step back and smiled shyly.

They all started talking at the same time. Fred was the only one who has met you before. Even Ron and Ginny didn't know you.

'Guys... calm down.' George sighed. 'This is Y/N, everyone.' George smiled happily.

'Hi.' You smiled.

'You're such a pretty picture! Welcome to our home dear.'

A a short, plump, kindly-looking woman stepped forwards. You took her hand and shook it.

'I'm Molly. I'm George his mother.'

'So lovely to finally meet you.' You smiled.

Follow by the woman a man with bright red hair stepped forwards. He wore glasses and had blue eyes.

'I'm Arthur, his father. We heard so much about you!'

'Great to meet you, Mr. Weasley. I hope that positive.' You grinned.

'Please, call me Arthur. And yes, it is.'

Then Ron stepped forwards. You already recognised him. Who didn't? He was the best friend of Harry Potter. He had fiery red hair and a freckled complexion. He had blue eyes.

'So, how the bloody hell did you get her?'

'Ronald Weasley.' Molly warned him.

Ron shook your hand.

'Pleasure.' You smiled.

He walked away and heard him mumble: 'Why does everyone say that when they meet me.'

Then his twin brother Fred stepped towards you.

'Great to see you, Y/N.' He smiled and he made space for everyone.

A girl now stepped forwards. She wore here flaming red hair in a long mane. She had bright brown eyes.

'Hi.. I'm Ginny. Well actually Ginevra but you can call me Ginny like everyone else.'

You smiled and shook her hand.

'Great to meet you.'

'Well now we've all introduced ourselves, let's go and have some dinner.' Molly smiled.

'Wait.' George said. 'Percy isn't here?'

'I'm sorry dear.. he had something important to do.'

George sighed and everyone headed to the table. You sat down besides George and Ron. You smiled a little. Molly put down plates with food. Luckily it was your favourite food! George leaned in.

'I told her you liked to eat this.' He whispered.

You immediately blushed and you passed him a thankful smile.

'So.. what do your parents do, Y/N?' Arthur asked.

'My father is an auror and my mother is a nurse. She works in the muggle world.' You smiled.

'So you're a half blood?' Arthur asked.

'Yes.' You said.

You took a fork and started eating.

'So... then you can help me! What exactly is the function of a phone?' He asked.

(After the 1990 phones were already used for the people who are going to question this. They weren't smartphones yet but you could call and text with them)

You looked up.

'Erm.. well..'

'Arthur, let's not talk about work here.' Molly said.

'No it's fine.' You said. 'You have owls that deliver messages to the person you're writing to. Muggles have phones. You have this little device you use. You can text, that means you basically write a message using the button on the phone and you can send them. It takes about 1 second to send and it's way faster then owls.. you do need the phone number of the other person. You can also call, that means you can actually talk to people through the device.. I'll take mine next time.' You said.

'Fascinating!' He said.

You took another bite of your food.

'This is amazing, Molly.' You smiled.

'Thank you dear!'

'So George, why didn't you tell us you had a girlfriend?' Ron asked.

George sighed.

'Because you're annoying and you keep annoying me with it when I tell you.'

Ron looked at him. His face was amazing. You let out a small chuckle.

'I'm shocked George! Fred knows and he's the most annoying of this entire house!'

'That's not true!' Fred said. 'That's Ginny after she sees Harry.'

'What do I have to do with this?!' She asked.

'Welcome to my family.' George sighed.

You laughed lightly and just continued eating. The bickering continued and George apologised over and over again.

'Enough!' Molly exclaimed.

They immediately stopped.

'Can we ever have someone over for dinner without bickering?!'

'Mom, George-'

'Ronald Weasley, didn't I say stop it?' She asked.

Ron sighed and just shoved a fork filled with food in his mouth.

'I'm sorry dear.' Molly apologised.

'It's fine.' You smiled.

The rest of the dinner was just talking and you answering questions about yourself. You even asked some questions to the family. You felt really comfortable. Dinner was over and it was already getting late.

'Oh... Mom, I forgot to say.. Y/N is sleeping here, if that's okay.'

You heard Ron and Ginny whistle in the distance. Molly sighed.

'Of course. She can stay with you. I'll arrange something in your room.'

'I'll sleep in the couch.' Fred said.

'Oh you don't-' You started.

'It's fine.' Fred smiled.

'So you want to put your bag away?' George asked.

You nodded and grabbed your bag before walking upstairs with him. You sighed in relief as all the tension and nerves left your body. You stepped into his room. You hugged him tightly. George hugged you back.

'I was so nervous.' You mumbled into his chest.

'You did amazing. I could see they all like you.' He smiled. You looked up and took a small step back.

'Are you sure?' You asked.

'I'm sure.'

You pressed your lips against his and he kissed you back.
