____1st Person POV_____
Sitting at the bar area, I seemed to spend my day away by playing with the little bouncy ball I found earlier today. I simply kept bouncing against the floor, letting it come right up to my hand every time. It wasn't anything really fun to do, of course not, but it was better than sitting in silence in my rundown room (which might be better, but who knows).
Just sitting on the bar stool, throwing the ball down at the ground, I just listened to the small conversations going on around the room. Most I couldn't fully hear, as they were mumbling, but there were a few... Weird ones,
"Hold on, hold on. Her sister was a witch, right? And what was her sister?? The Wicked Witch of the east," I could hear a voice, rather quietly argue, "You're going to look at me and tell me that I'm wrong, am I wrong!?"
"I'm going to stab you," I heard Toga (her voice was easy to point out) argue back, causing me to smile at the conversation now.
But before either of the two could continue, our heads all turned at the sound of the door opening. Watching as Shigaraki walked in, his normal hand placed over his face, we all went quiet. He seemed to walk in with a happy mood , just judging by his movements. As he took a step in though, he clapped his hand a bit together,
"All of you get up, we have a mission,"
_____Time Skip_____
Sticking close to Shigaraki, I kept my guard up as we made our way into the abandoned looking building. He said we were to meet someone here who might have some information in regards to how to stop a few heros, but so far it looked like nobody was here. I trusted Shigaraki though, as he's kept me and some of the other members safe.
He may act like a man-child sometimes, but I trust that he knew what he was doing. Even if it seemed risky, nothing could be riskier than being a villain, right?
As we slipped into the building, going unnoticed, I glanced around, making sure nobody was hiding to attack us. Our other members were to stand guard outside the building while Shigaraki and I went in, as he said it would be best if not everyone was to come in. It might show that we're untrusting and a threat. Of course though some of them argued, saying they were better to come in then be a watchdog, but Shigaraki insisted and eventually we all went with the plan.
Hearing a few crackles and creeks from inside the building, I began to grow a bit uneasy. But still, I trusted Shigaraki. If anything, I knew he'd protect me, and I'd protect him. It was our kind of thing. Except... He was a bit more protective of me most times, which was suspicious but I ignored the feeling. I was probably just overthinking it, as I tended to do that.
Walking down the hall towards an empty large industrial room, I could hear some voices. Taking precaution, I made sure my hand was settled on the knife that was at my side, staring ahead as Tomura led me down the hall,
"Are you sure we can trust them?" I asked and I could see him glance over his shoulder at me for a split second before turning ahead again,
"This group has showed their loyalty to the League multiple times, so don't overthink it. However, stay aware just in case," he answered and I rolled my eyes,

"So don't trust them..." I replied as we walked into the room, seeing three people stand before us with a briefcase in one of their hand's.
I eyed them suspiciously as I didn't trust them one bit with their whole operation that was happening. If we were to trust them, then why the briefcase? Why not just a plain creme colored folder or envelope? Something simple and open, not something that could clearly be hiding a bomb,
"Ah! Shigaraki! So glad you actually came, and who do we have here~?" The guy in the middle, who had the briefcase, chimed up, taking a few steps toward us. I gave him a glare as Shigaraki seemed to take a step in front of me,
"She's my back-up. Now, do you have what I came here for?" He said in a snappy tone.
The guy let out a sigh of disappointment as he gave Shigaraki a bored look, "Always so quick to jump, Shiggy. Can't a guy just have a little fun and talk? Feel like we never get to,"
"And we won't. Now hand over what I want,"
The guy seemed to roll his eyes, setting the briefcase down on the ground before giving it a small push towards us. Just as it hit Tomura's feet, he leaned down and picked it up, holding it with his pinky in air. I glanced down at the briefcase, trying to check it over from my little view of it before looking up. Seeing one of the guys check the watch on his wrist and the other eyeing the case, I grew worried. Seeing as the middle guy was busy talking to Shigaraki, or at least trying to, I watched as the same guy checked his watch once more. Seeing this, I glanced back to the briefcase only to see it give off a very faded blue from the cracks of it.
Realizing I was right about it being a bomb, I quickly snatched the case from Shigaraki and threw it back towards the men in front of us,
"It's a trap," I said to Shigaraki before glancing back to the men, "You were going to have us blow to pieces!"
"That was the goal sweetheart, but clearly plans have changed," he answered with a smirk, looking over to the bigger guy with the watch next to him. As they looked at each other, the leader snapped his fingers at him and just then the man with the watch pulled out a little controller. Knowing exactly what it was, I turned to Tomura,
"Run," I stated ready to run out, but clearly he had different plans as he ran at the men, anger clear in his features, even behind the hand. He began to yell a few things at the men, but I ignored it as I soon heard a few explosions echo through the building.
Next thing I knew, rocks and debris was beginning to fall from the ceiling. Panicking a bit, I turned and threw one of my knives at the man who detonated the explosions around the building. The knife easily hit his neck, causing him to collapse onto the ground while choking for air and breath. Smirking at the accomplishment of taking him out by surprise, I turned over to see Shigaraki attacking the two others, barely managing to dodge their attacks.
Realizing that if we didn't leave soon, we would get trapped under the rubble, I ran over towards the battle going on and decided to take on the other side guy that was apart of it. Pulling my sword off of my back hollister, I swung it at him, only to have him dodge it and focus his attention on me now. Now, I knew it would be easier for Shigaraki to attack the other guy.

Swinging at him, I managed to get a slash or two on his arm and torso before he let out a black goo substance towards me. Jumping over the attack, I threw another one of my side knives at him, hitting his leg with a 'whoosh'. He let out a bit of a cry as he sent his black goo stuff towards me again. I moved around it, but was suddenly hit in the arm with it, causing me to drop the sword in my hand. As he dropped to the floor, I let out a growl, turning to see Shigaraki had finally finished off his guy and was now making his way towards my fight. Smiling a bit at it, I used my free hand to take out the other sword I had behind me, swinging that towards the man in front of me. Seeing him shoot out another bit of goo, I arieled over it, dodging the attack as I did a bit of a spin, throwing my sword at him this time. Just as my sword seemed to hit his arm and distract him, I watched as Shigaraki flung himself towards the guy, instantly settling a hand on him. Within seconds the man was nothing more than dust in the wind.
With a panicked look my way, Tomura sprinted over towards me, grabbing ahold of my free non-goo arm with his arm (besides pinky finger). As he yanked me towards the exit, eventually letting go off my arm, we were almost out, seeing the light ahead. But just then, of course of all place, my body suddenly felt numb completely and I couldn't move. Struggling to even talk, I let out a small cry to Shigaraki, seeing him running ahead unknowingly without me.
I could only stand there and watch as I listened to the building crumble down around me.
Ironically though, just as I saw him turn his body around to see if I was there behind him, I felt something hit me and soon my world went dark and silent.
My eyes shot open as I suddenly felt a sharp pain strike my body, causing me to let out a scream. I didn't know where I was or what was happening, but all I know is that I was in pain- great pain at that. My body felt as though it was destroying itself and breaking down, and that was all that bothered me.
Just then, as I quiet my scream and just let out cries of pain, I heard the door open. Glancing over with tears falling down from my eyes, I watched as Shigaraki and Kurogiri walk in along with some doctor looking guy next to them. Not even caring what was happening, I squeezed my eyes shut out of pain and shook my head before feeling something like into my arm. It didn't even bother me as it soon began to numb the pain rather quickly and put me in a drowsy state.
Soon after I heard them leave, I glanced back over with tired eyes to see Tomura still in the room, his head down so I was unable to see his face. He didn't have his signature hand planted over his face, which made me feel a bit happy.
It was quiet as neither of us spoke, but I soon changed that when I began to feel more conscious and aware, even in the drowsy state,
"How long was I out for?" I asked, my voice almost a whisper.
It seemed to grab his attention as he looked up to me, a cold look on his face as dark bags decorated under his eyes. It wasn't unusual for him to have bags, but dang were they dark,
"Only a week," he answered and I gave a small nod, taking this moment to look around to see I was on a hospital bed with very few equipment around me,
"You need sleep, you know," his eyes went slightly wide at my comment, "It's unhealthy to stay up worried just over me,"
I gave him a smile but he seemed rather bothered by my words as he stood up from the chair next to me and walked over to the door. Knowing that I probably said the wrong thing, I felt him walk away...
__Time Skip (Sorry there's another)____
It's been about two weeks since I first woke up from my little coma and jesus... it's been a mess.
Since I'm still technically 'injured', Shigaraki won't let me go out on any missions, which sucks big time. I've been stuck at the stupid hideout, literally not allowed to do anything because I'm still injured and I guess my stitches aren't healing properly. And on that note, Tomura's been so strict about me and what I do. It's been kind of nice but at the same time, it's been a pain. He won't let me do a lot of stuff in the hideout because he says I'll tear the stitches or 'hurt myself' again. Clearly the man hasn't met who I am.
Plus, I only hurt myself again one time while they were out. All that happened was I fell from one of the barstools, but clearly that didn't go too well. The others came back only to find me on the floor, groaning out in pain while my body was bleeding just a little.... JUST A LITTLE.
But that ended with them, mostly Tomura, freaking out and forcing someone to at least stay back and watch over me while I heal.
It's been two weeks, I'm fine.
As of now though, I was just lying on the floor in the living room(?) area. Just staring at the cracked TV in front of me, watching some weird sitcom. Right now everyone besides me and Kurogiri were out doing whatever was needed, so here I am, just lying here. I slept in for quite a while, so I didn't see everyone leave, but I figured they were out when I walked to the kitchen and found nobody. And since there's almost nobody here, I decided to have some me time, which consisted of me lying on the floor and die of boredom,
"Alexa, play 'drivers license' on Spotify," I called out, but nothing answered back, so I sat up from my spot, "Oh sh*t, I forgot we don't have one of those,"
Rolling over, I stood from my comfortable spot on the floor before walking over and shutting off the TV. Just as I turned around and walked over towards the hall to go down to the bar area, I saw Kurogiri walk in front of me. Jumping back a little in sudden surprise, I gave him a small smile,
"Oh hey Kurogiri,"
"I heard you yell back here, so I was just making sure everything was alright," he answered and I nodded, laughing a bit,
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just was yelling at the non-existent Alexa,"
He seemed rather confused, so went on with life as he gave me a nod (I think) and turned back around. I followed him back to the bar, watching as he sat behind the counter and pulled out a book. Smiling a little at his calm, dad-like behavior, I glanced at the few empty glasses that sat on the counter. Getting the idea that they were dirty, I walked around and picked them up before taking them towards the back, to the kitchen area. I dismissed Kurogiri's help as he asked if I wanted any, and then set the glass cups onto the counter. Letting out a sigh, I picked one up and turned on the water,
"Man, I really am bored," I commented as I began to clean the cup.
One by one, I cleaned each cup I picked up and set it on the other side of the sink, making sure they were upside down and over a dish towel. Letting them sit there to dry, I cleaned my hands and then turned off the water. I stood there for a second though as I soon heard footsteps coming towards me.
Turning towards them, I shook my head, "Kurogiri, I told you I don't nee-" I paused my sentence as I realized the man walking in wasn't Kurogiri, but instead Tomura. Raising an eyebrow at him, he spoke up,
"Kurogiri said you were back here,"
"I thought you were out with the others," I mentioned,
"They can handle it themselves. It's just a small retrieve mission. Plus, it meant I could actually relax without those idiots disturbing me," he answered and I laughed a little,
"So I'm not one of the idiots?" I asked and he seemed to tense for a second, walking over towards the fridge,
"You're tolerable," he stated and I shrugged at him, glancing back over to the glasses. I decided that I could dry them instead of standing here awkwardly, so I picked up a side down and began to dry them, "Except, what was your yelling about earlier?"
Turning around with the glass and towel in hand, I laughed a bit again as I shook my head, "I didn't think I was that loud, but I was yelling at the air to basically play a song,"
Now it was his turn to look confused as he glanced over his shoulder to me with a very confused look. His red eyes peered into my eyes as looked back to me,
"The air....?" He asked and I hesitantly nodded,
"I really yelled at the Alexa, but we don't have one of those, so,"
He didn't seemed surprise by my answer as he turned back to the fridge, and I could've sworn I heard a chuckle, but it could just be this stupid building as it did make weird noises,
"What song did you ask for?"
Setting the dry cup over to the side, I grabbed another one from the group of wet ones (that's what she said), "I asked for it to play that new song, Driv-"
Just then, I felt the cup slip from my hold and it was like slow motion as it fell down to the ground with a 'crash'. Jumping back, I looked down at the mess below as I saw the little bits and pieces of glass go flying around the floor, scattering across. As I watch them disperse, I could hear the footsteps from the fridge run over, and just then I felt a hand being placed on my shoulder, pulling me back a little,
"Jesus, are you okay? Are you hurt? Did you cut yourself?"
"Tomura, I'm fine," I answered, my eyes still locked down as I saw and felt nothing hit or touch my feet. Lucky I didn't have anything hit me, I stepped back and walked over to where the broom was, Tomura following behind,
"Are you sure you're okay?? That looked like it hit your foot. I really think you might have a piece stuck I'm your foot,"
". I'm fine." I answered back once more, but he persisted with his questions as to whether or not I was okay,
"You can't be fine. That wasn't even an inch away from you. You must've hit a nerve in your leg, or it could've-"
"TOMURA, I'M FINE!" I yelled, putting my foot down as I turned around to see him close behind me. Instantly he backed away. Seeing his worried over features, I grew a bit frustrated with his questions and 'theories', "It didn't cut me. It didn't touch me. I'm. FINE. Okay!?!?"
He seemed to quiet down with my outburst, which frustrated me more as I at least wanted an 'okay' or something along those lines,
"Why are you so worried and protective of me!? Like I get it- I'm injured, but it's like you're up my *ss all the time anymore! You don't even let me go on simple missions such as today's or even be by myself at that! I don't get it! I'm not a child, I've been on my own for 10 years now, but you treat as if I'm still a newborn. I don't need to be cradled and babied just because I got hurt, so why!? Why keep me locked up here!? Why force someone to watch over me!? And WHY BE SO PROTECTIVE!?" I shouted and I could see his anger begin to rise as well as he took a step forward at me,
"It's because I like you!!" He shouted and instantly I felt my emotions drain and I stood their frozen. It was almost as if his words shot right through me, and I couldn't move. I just stared at him, watching as he went off now,
"I want to protect you because I like you! I have for a while," his voice faded a bit, but he soon resumed, "You make me feel this weird tingling sensation in my stomach whenever you're around, and you actually make me feel happy. You've always treated me nicely, even when I would yell at you. You were never like the others... You looked up to me, and you trusted me, and I trusted you. I didn't know why and I couldn't understand any of it. I figured it was a bunch of sh*t and that I should've just killed you in your sleep, but... Kurogiri made me realize it was love. And that love was what made me feel like I needed to protect you, not only from those d*mn heros, but from everyone, and yet I denied it."
"Tomura I-" I tried to cut in, but he kept going, his face falling into a sad look as he stared down to the ground,
"But seeing you get hurt that day, and having to dig you out of the rubble, it made realize that I needed to accept that love, even if I didn't want to. And I had to protect you. Because I didn't then, and look where it got you,"
Listening to him, I dropped the broom at my side and walked towards him before slinging my arms around him. Feeling the warmth from his slim body, I lied my head against his chest as he was taller than me,
"I'm fine though... Especially now," glancing up at him, I gave him a smile, "I'm not going anywhere,"

8 123NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY: The Adventures of The Creeping Bam (BOOK ONE: The Job)
TAO is a broken world held together with nothing but magic and the will of the gods who protect it and its people. Then thousand years ago THE SUNDERING struck and Tao was almost torn apart by a terrible magical cataclysm which resulted in the planet almost being halted in its journey through the cosmos. It took all the power the gods of Tao could muster to restore its orbit and set it turning again, but in their efforts it was forever changed – its axis was drastically altered, and it now spins in such a way that one face of the world is forever turned from the sun it orbits, leaving half the planet in perpetual darkness. The various humanoid races that survived and now thrive within the habitable parts of THE DAY LANDS have come to live in perpetual fear of what lives beyond THE BORDERLANDS that separate them from whatever dwells within THE NIGHT LANDS, but for ten millennia it has kept its secrets. The land of RUNDAO languishes under the rule of their warlike Northern neighbours, the TEKTEHRAN EMPIRE, while a small, ragtag band of motley adventurers ply their mercenary trade fighting monsters and protecting the common man from the various dangers that haunt the night and prowl the hinterlands on the edges of civilization. THE CREEPING BAM have amassed a modest reputation in their years together, but they’re still just a small-time party of sellswords, thieves, outcasts and mages. They’re also exactly the kind of underdogs the people of Tao doesn’t yet realise are needed to save the world from the encroaching darkness they doesn’t even know is coming … This is a love letter and homage to the high-fantasy worlds of the tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and Warhammer and the sword & sorcery cinema and literature I fell in love with as a kid growing up in the 80s, from Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian (and the awesome Schwarzenegger movie, STILL my favourite fantasy film EVER), The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and Ron Howard and George Lucas’ Willow, to the more grown-up and edgy worlds of grimdark masters George RR Martin and (my all-time favourite) Joe Abercrombie, as well as a BIG DOLLOP of Terry Pratchett’s immortal Discworld series. IMPORTANT: This story contains material which some readers may consider to be mature, such as battle violence, some strong language and occasional mild sexual scenes. If this is not your kind of thing, this story is not for you. I am also serializing this story on Tumblr, Wattpad, Quotev and Sweek.
