《Whispers (Draco Malfoy x reader)》8

When they entered the Great Hall together, they were met by an awkward silence.
"Why is everyone staring at us?" Y/n whispered.
"I don't know."
They decided it would be nice to sit together at the Slytherin table since they saw Padma there as well.
When they sat there, they were met by a giggling Padma and a snickering Blaise.
"What's going on?" Draco asked, utterly confused.
"You and Y/n slept in the same bed is what!" Padma replied, still giggling.
"What?! Who told you."
"Here." She said shoving a photo towards Y/n and Draco.
The photo was of them on his bed, cuddling in the same position as the night before, her face was covered but everyone knew it was her when her head turned slightly to show her features better.
"Which one of you wankers took this!" Draco yelled, not that loud as he was already extremely embarrassed.
"Me and Padma took it when we were going to look for you since she was worried about Y/n." Blaise replied, slightly smirking in amusement.
"Then why does it seem like everyone knows about it ?" Draco replied, slightly calmer now.
"Well, Pansy stole it, a-and it kind of spread from there." Padma said anxiously.
"What?" Y/n said, her voice a mix of confusion and embarrassment.
Just then they heard the fluttering of the owls flying into the Great Hall.
When they saw the Daily Prophet, everyone in the Slytherin table except for Draco and Y/n started cackling incontrovertibly.
Right there, on the front page of the Daily Prophet, was that exact photo Padma had shown them.
"YOUNG MALFOY HEIR, DRACO MALFOY HAS SEEMINGLY TAKEN AN INTEREST TO YOUNG L/N GIRL, Y/N L/N. HAS THE HOUSE RIVALRY FINALLY CONE TO AN END? READ TO FIND OUT MORE." It wrote in big bold lettering.

"This is ridiculous." Draco sighed exaggeratedly.
"Yeah! Have they not thought about other people's privacy?"
"God knows what my father's gonna say about this!" Draco sighs again.
Speaking of his father, a brown eagle owl everyone had recognised as his father's owl came flying in with a letter.
Draco immediately snatched the letter from the owl, not in the mood to care about giving the owl a treat. He pulled open the envelope and unfolded the letter it contained to read it.
Dear Draco, meet me in Snape's office tonight at dinner. I want to speak to you.
Your father,
Lucius Malfoy
Oh no.
-
After the last class of the day, Draco immediately stalked up to Snape'a office like his father had instructed to.
The door was open so he didn't bother to knock before walking in the office.
He couldn't believe his eyes.
His father was grinning. I repeat, Lucius Malfoy, grinning.
"What is it you wish to speak about, father?" Draco managed to ask, even though he was utterly shocked by his father smiling at him.
"I've read the Daily Prophet." Lucius started.
"And I see you've taken a liking to this L/n girl. Lucky for you, her father is one of my good friends and we've agreed to let you both continue this, relationship of yours." He continued, smirking slightly.
"Okay." Draco replied.
"But," Draco sighed, there's always a 'but' to everything now is there.
"You'll have to marry her. I'd like some grand children, is what I'm implying." Lucius finished with a questioning look on his face, as if to ask if it was okay with him, even though everyone knew Lucius would force it on him if he declined.
"Of course."
"Good. Now I hope you can share this news with her. Y/n, was it?"
"Yes."
-
Now he was fucked, utterly fucked. He knew she liked him but how was he supposed to tell her? He didn't even know if they were serious or anything. He can't just go up to her and be like "I'm going to marry you now because my father said so." now can he?
He went back to his room and flopped on his bed. He groaned into his pillow as he tried to think of a way to tell her.

Points of Light - An Oral History of the Collapse
Humanity endures. The phrase is not only an informal slogan of the reformed United Nations, but a rallying cry the world over. Even in the face of extermination, we struggled, we fought, and we endured. But just how close did we actually come? In our darkest hour, how many steps separated our species from oblivion? And are we even safe now? Were the mistakes made by earlier generations really so obvious? Or are they only so blatent when we look back with the advantage of hindsight? If so, what horrors might be staring us in the face even now that no one has the foresight to prevent? Drawn from thousands of interviews, as well as uncorrupted contemporary recordings and source documentation dating back to the early 2000s; Points of Light is a definative look at the last half century of upheaval, prosperity and carnage. It tells the tale of what happened, how it happened, who was responsible and most importantly, what we might be able to do to prevent it from happening again. This is a rewrite of a previously started fiction under a pen-name. Chapters will be updated every two days at 6:00 EST.
