When they reached the hospital wing, Madam Pomfrey was furious.
"What have you done Rubeus!" She screamed.
"Malfoy insulted the Hippogriff. It wasn't Hagrid's fault." Y/n defended.
"I suppose, but I don't want to see anymore students injured from your class Hagrid!"
"Y-yes of cours' '"
***
Later that day during lunch at the Slytherin table, Draco Malfoy was bragging about how he 'could've lost his arm.'
"Draco! Draco! How did it go? How was Y/n?." Pansy screeched excitedly.
"Shut up Pansy, you're giving me a headache!" Blaise slammed the table as he said so, causing everyone in the great hall to look over.
"What are you lot looking at!?" Draco sneered, causing everyone to continue doing whatever it was they were doing before.
***
"Y/n, I heard what happened during Hagrid's class, are you okay?" Cho asked, concerned.
"I'm okay Cho, Draco was the only one who got hurt."
"Glad to hear that."
"Cho!"
"What, Y/n?!"
"Just because he's Malfoy doesn't mean you can be glad that he got injured!" Y/n yelled a little too loud, causing Malfoy to look over.
And he was staring at her. He was blushing furiously and so was Y/n when they made eye contact.
Y/n decided to look away because everyone was giving them suggestive looks.
"Ooo, looks like Drakey-poo is in love !" Blaise teased, which caused Draco to kick him in the foot.
"Ow, bloody hell mate !"
And then lunch ended.
***
Draco and Blaise were now in the Slytherin common room. They had a free period then. That was when Draco decided would be a good time to ask Blaise for some dating advice.
"Hey Blaise, have you ever dated someone?"
"No, but I've had some hooking up here and there."

"Merlin, Blaise! I didn't need to know that."
"Yeah whatever, why were you asking again?"
"I want to ask someone out."
"It's Y/n isn't it?"
"Wha-No. You don't have to know that!"
Blaise gave him an 'are you serious' look.
"Alright, fine!"
"So shoot, what is it you want to ask ?" Blaise smirked.
"I just wanted to know if it's too early to ask her now."
"What like right now!? She probably has class!"
"No! Not literally now, you bloody idiot! Like maybe anytime soon."
"Ohhh."
"Yeah oh, you maniac."
"I mean yeah, you'll never know what will happen. I think you should just go for it mate!"
"You think so?"
"Yeah!"
Draco smiled. It wasn't a smirk it was a genuine smile.
***
Later that they in potions class Draco was extremely nervous.
Like really nervous.
Even though he already got Blaise's assurance he was still nervous. I mean it was Blaise Zabini for Merlin's sake, the bloke could be as mad as a bag of ferrets sometimes.
But Draco decided, fuck that. From what he's heard, there's a ball coming soon. So it definitely make sense if he asked her.
***
"Hi Y/n."
"Um, hi Draco." Ever since the incident that took place at the Great Hall, Y/n has been shier than usual and more awkward, especially around Draco.
"I've been meaning to ask you a question."
"Me too."
"So the Yule Ball."
"Yeah I've heard of that."
"Do you- I mean- Can you- Uhm, I was wondering if you would want to go to the Y-Yule Ball with me." Draco stuttered out. He'd definitely scream at himself about this later.
"Uhm sure. Actually yes! I'd love to. I mean that's what I wanted to ask you!" Y/n replied awkwardly.
"Really? Wow that's great."
Draco was so happy, he couldn't seem to push away the smile that was currently growing on his face.
Little did they know, Professor Snape was secretly listening to them outside the classroom. And he was cringing at the awkwardness.
He then decided that it was the right time to strut into the classroom.
"Turn to page 394."

Parallel universes exist. Ten years ago, a terrorist organization called Liroli waged an all-out war against the World Order, bent on obtaining the means to travel between these parallel universes. Although the war ended with the government's victory, it was not without consequences. A poisonous element known as Lorine began leaking from the other worlds, bringing a plague that wiped out a third of humanity — the infamous May Death. Those infected gained strange abilities, in exchange for their certain death in a year. To counter the great plague that threatened humanity's survival, the government launched the World Restoration Project: gathering those infected and sending them into Lorine-polluted parallel worlds to seal the leaks between them. But it isn't that easy a task, as many dangers lurk behind these worlds, while those infected must deal with their own looming deaths. Gaming on a MUD is difficult.
This is a story based on my characters background and journal that I played on a mud (Multi User Dungeon) over the course of several years. Dozens of people play a text based command line game at the same time. I figured I'd try to turn in into a story to see if anyone found it interesting. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think. This is my first time so not very experienced. It is a story about how going into a multi player game expecting a typical RPG experience turns into something else because other players are involved.
