''I told you, Agnes. I feel great'' Hayley said while still looking down at the book she was reading. Agnes had stopped by to try and convince Hayley to get a checkup.
''You are overdue for a checkup'' Agnes pressed.
Narrowing her eyes at her Hayley said ''What am I gonna do pop into the quarter for a quick ultrasound?'' Maya rolled her eyes at Hayley.
Does she know how many people would love to have a child.
''A pregnant werewolf escorted by a witch? Nothing to see here'' Hayley sarcastically remarked.
''A lot of women would kill to have a child,'' Rebekah bitterly said. ''Strikes me as odd that you're not taking better of yours.''
''Tell me about it'' Maya said referring to herself.
''I know a doctor out in the bayou, off the beaten path. Now, I took the liberty of making an appointment for you, tonight. After hours just us. Vampires will never get word of it'' Agnes tried smiling reassuringly at Hayley.
Maya glanced at Agnes throught the corner of her eyes. Something about her was off and she didn't trust it one bit.
Slightly rolling her eyes ''Okay. Fine'' Closing the baby book she was reading she said ''Bayou baby doctor it is.''
Klaus walked in the room and caught sight of Rebekah who searched for attics.
''Please sister, tell me you're not still at it with the internet search. How does one begin anyways, just type in the anonymous attic?'' He poured himself some bourbon as taunted Rebekah.
"Someone has to find Elijah even if I have to search every bloody attic in New Orleans.'' She replied eyes never leaving her computer.
''Like looking for a needle in a rather larger pile of needles''
''I remember details about the attic Marcel took me to. They were shutters on the windows behind Elijah's coffin.''
"Well, that should narrow it down immensely. I prefer actual strategy as opposed to mind-numbing labour.'' Klaus moved to sit down across from Rebekah and Maya. ''Marcel's delay in returning our brother makes me suspect he's no longer in charge of the situation. If Davina's loyalty to Marcel is strained, perhaps the young witch will be open to discussing a new alliance''
''You do realize she's a child right. She doesn't know better. And if you go messing with her it's just going to make her hate you more and she won't be so willing to help.'' Maya said as she scrolled throught her phone.

''And as usual, your power grabs are more important than rescuing your brother,'' Rebekah said looking up at her brother.
Brushing off her comment Klaus said "I prefer to think of it as killing two birds with one stone'' Maya couldn't but scoff at that. ''Rob Marcel of his secret weapon bring our brother home''
''Unbelievable,'' Maya mumbled before walking out of the room.
*****
As Maya and Rebekah walked through the bayou Maya started to complain ''How much trouble can a pesky little werewolf get herself into'' But before Rebekah could reply they heard the sounds of heavy panting and grunting so speeding to the source they saw a man approaching Hayley who was crouched in a fighting position.
Speeding up to him Maya snapped his neck letting his body fall to the floor. Walking up to Hayley Rebekah said ''I have to say I'm impressed''
''I'm not I've seen better'' Maya pettily said while she examined her nails. I need to get my nails done again.
''How'd you find me'' Hayley said stepping over the man's dead body.
''Your text got me halfway vamp hearing did the rest,'' Rebekah said. Looking over at all the bodies Rebekah said ''Who are they''
''Witches, Warlocks, whatever.'' Maya furrowed her eyebrows when she heard footsteps approaching. Looking around she said ''There are more of them. Run!'' Hayley then hesitantly started running in the opposite direction.
''If I had a dollar for every mess this family has gotten us into,'' Rebekah said and Maya couldn't help but agree.
Before anything else could happen Rebekah and Maya were unexpectedly shot with an arrow going through both of their hearts rendering them temporarily dead. The last thing Maya heard before everything faded into darkness was Hayley yelling out her and Rebekah's names.
When they finally woke up they were now surrounded by multiple dead bodies.''Bloody Hell'' Maya muttered.
''Hayley! HAYLEY!'' Rebekah yelled hoping to get an answer.
''We have to call Klaus'' Maya told Rebekah.
''Fine'' Rebekah pulled out her phone and dialled Klaus's number.
On the third ring when he answered he said ''What is it, sister''
''Hayley's missing''
"What do you mean she's missing''
''What do you think I mean. There's blood and bodies everywhere'' Rebekah snapped. ''Someone has ripped this lot to shreds and there's no sight of a pregnant girl.''

''Keep looking I'm on my way'' Klaus then hung up the phone.
''Bloody Wanker'' Maya muttered.
''Not the time for this Amaya'' Rebekah said as they started walking around trying to find Hayley.
''Wait Rebekah I think I found something'' Maya said pointing at a house in the distance.
When they got in they found a dead woman that's body was twisted at a weird angle. They suddenly turned around when they heard a swoosh only to see that it was Klaus who was standing there with his hands behind his back.
''Oh, wow would you look at that the big bad hybrid abandoned his quest for power to help out your family. Having an off-day.'' Said Maya still annoyed about getting shot in the heart with an arrow.
''Who took her Rebekah'' Klaus ignored Maya and directed his question to his sister.
''I don't know''
Walking towards her Klaus questioned ''What do you mean you don't know''
''Meaning we don't know we had arrows in our hearts'' Maya said rolling her eyes at Klaus. She seems to be doing that a lot recently. ''Thanks for the concern''
Klaus's face slowly started to morph into one of anger while Rebekah said ''If it wasn't Hayley who killed them, then'' Rebekah said but stopped when they all heard a wolf howling. Looking at Klaus pointedly she continued ''Lovely perhaps her cousins will know where she is'' Both girls shoved past Klaus and walked out of the house.
But when they came out they found Hayley walking up to the house with her clothes ripped and blood splattered all over her body Klaus raced past them and to Hayley. ''Hayley, what happened?.'' He asked.
Looking confused she answered ''I can't remember''
''Great just what we needed. A werewolf with Alzheimer's'' Maya sighed in frustration. She was tired and needed a shower.
''Shut up Amaya'' Klaus aggressively said his head snapping towards her before looking back at Hayley. Putting his hand on her caringly as he observed her for any injuries. Maya diverted her eyes elsewhere. ''You've completely healed. There's not a scratch on you'' Klaus said with both his hands holding on to Hayley's shoulder still searching for any injuries.
''One of the perks of being a werewolf remember?'' She slightly smiled at Klaus.
''Werewolves don't heal that fast'' Maya bitterly chirped.
Walking up to Hayley and pulling Hayley to her side protectively Rebekah said ''Leave her alone.'' Maya scoffed as Rebekah guided Hayley to the steps of the house to sit. I'm pretty sure she can walk on her own. Maya bitterly thought. ''It's the baby'' Pointed out Rebekah. ''The vampire blood, Klau's blood in your system. It can heal any wound.'' Klaus slowly turned around. ''Your child healed you.''
''How did you even escape. You were outnumbered, unarmed. Those men were ripped to shreds. And clearly, you're incapable of doing that since well'' Maya pointed to Hayley's stomach from where she stood.
Hayley looked down fiddling with her fingers before looking back up. ''I think it was the wolf.'' She looked at Klaus. '' I think it's trying to protect me.''
''The witches were supposed to protect you. When I get my hands on Sophie Deveraux -''
''It wasn't Sophie'' Hayley said. ''It was Agnes.''
''Fine Agnes, Sophie. It's all the same to me. I'll slaughter the lot of them.'' Klaus shrugged non-caringly.
''Well you can't slaughter Sophie unless you want your baby to die now'' Maya purposely left out Hayley still not caring if the wolf lived or not.
''Not if Elijah gets here first'' Rebekah said making Hayley's head snapped towards her.
''Elijah? Did you find him?'' Maya internally scoffed it was so obvious that she was infatuated with her brother.
''He's been in touch. He has a plan'' Diverting her eyes from Klaus and to Hayley Rebekah said ''All he asks is that we take care of you''
"Of course he did. Noble as always'' Maya said.
''Hey. So can we go home now?'' Hayley asked. ''I'd like to sleep for a few days'' She joked Before trying to stand but she lost her balance and almost collapsed unfortunately Klaus was there to catch her.
Picking her up bridal style he said ''I've got you love. I've got you'' They continued to carry her to the car.
Biting the inside of her gum to bite back her jealousy Maya looked elsewhere but Klaus and Hayley. Walking up behind her Rebekah squeezed her shoulder understandingly as they also made their way back to the car.
