''I cannot believe you disposed of those vampires without me'' Rebekah said turning away from the window to face Klaus and Maya. ''You know how I love to set things on fire''

''Was he supposed to leave them there for everyone to see'' Maya said earning an eye roll from Rebekah.

''Exactly sister was I supposed to leave them in the front yard to rot. Besides they were my responsibility. They attacked the helpless pregnant girl who's carrying my child'' Klaus said looking smug.

And Maya wanting to wipe the smug look from his face said ''Wow look at you Niklaus finally taking responsibility in life. Never thought that day would come''

Chocking back a laugh Rebekah added '' Oh I am so moved by your newfound sense of fatherly duty towards the werewolf carrying your hybrid bun in her oven'' Earning a laugh from Maya and an eye roll from Klaus.

Maya's laugh soon died down when her attention was drawn to the wolf who came into the room with one of Elijah's old journals in her hands.

''The werewolf would like to know what the plan is'' Hayley looked up from the journal to look at the three supernaturals in the room.

Rolling her eyes Maya mumbled ''Of course, she would'' yet everyone in the room heard it but choose to ignore it.

Hayley on the other hand felt a little bummed out. She tough that after yesterday Maya would lay off her but it seems not. ''Well, that depends on what plan you mean love. My plan for global domination or Rebekah's plan to find love in this cruel, cruel world.'' Chuckling Rebekah used her vampire speed to grab the pencil that was behind her and chucked it towards Klaus, unfortunately, he caught it.

''The plan to rescue Elijah. You know the good brother the one who is now in the possession of your mortal enemy after you stabbed him in the back'' Hayley said emphasizing the word back while looking between all three of the originals.

''In the front, if we're being specific.'' Klaus sassed.

''I have a question for you Hayley. Why do you want Elijah to come back so badly? I mean don't get me wrong I want him back just as badly maybe even more but I don't get why you care so much. You've barely even known him for a day'' Maya said putting all the attention on Hayley who was now shifting uncomfortably.

''Well you know he was nice to me. And promised to protect me.'' Hayley said looking down before looking back up at them.''And you three said that you would get him back. So is there a plan or what?''

''See I don't think you need to know the plan because even if you did you wouldn't be able to do much about it,'' Maya said but once again her comment went ignored by everyone in the room.

''Okay,'' Klaus said as he started walking to a chair and sitting on it. ''Well firstly, Marcel is not my mortal enemy. He's my friend.''

''Yet you're still trying to steal his kingdom that he worked so hard on'' Maya mumbled under her breath making Klaus roll his eyes.

''Albeit one who is unaware that I am trying to sabotage his hold of the supernatural community of the French Quarter but a friend nonetheless.'' He finished his sentence smiling at Hayley who was already looking at him making a pit of jealousy form in Maya's stomach. ''And secondly. I daggered Elijah to gain Marcel's trust. If I had known he would place my brother in the hands of a particularly nasty teenage witch. ''I certainly would have weighed my options a bit differently. And thirdly sister please.'' Klaus said holding his hand out in a motion for Rebekah to continue.

''And thirdly. the plan, as you have demanded-

''She is in no place to demand anything-

''Stop interrupting me Amaya'' Rebekah snapped frustrated with Amaya's comments on Hayley. ''Is for Niklaus to simply ask Marcel for Elijah back''

Looking worriedly at the three originals who were all smirking at her Hayley asked ''That's not the whole plan, is it?''

Chuckling Rebekah said ''Oh please Klaus may be a miserable excuse for a sibling, but there is none more diabolical'' Looking over at Klaus.

''That's only the plan A love'' He said. ''There's always a plan B''

''And what's plan B''

''Amaya sweetheart will you do the honours of saying our plan B'' Klaus said looking towards his wife who took a step forward.

''War'' A dangerous gleam in her eyes caused a shiver to run down Hayley's spine.

''Oh, come now, Thierry. You're not still upset about that little, toxic werewolf bite I gave you, are you?'' Klaus asked walking into the room Marcel and Thierry were in Maya following in suit. ''I thought we were bygones'' Maya had decided that she wanted to tag along with Klaus to go see Marcel. Though it did take a lot of convincing from Klaus.

Looking over at Marcel Thierry said ''I see you've given him free reign of your compound now too'' Hearing his words Maya went to take a step forward ready to pounce on Thierry but Klaus held her back.

''Yes, well seeing as my family, wife and I lived here, built the place-

''Alright come on you both know the drill. Thierry is my guy's inner circle, and Klaus is my old-time friend and sire. He's also a guess here'' Marcell trailed off before noticing Amaya besides Klaus. ''And Amaya Aria Mikaelson, my mother figure, and the person who took most care of me'' Marcel said before walking up to her and pulling her in a tight hug.

''Marcie'' Maya said as she smiled using the embarrassing Nickname she had for him when he was little. "How have you been all this time'' She asked when they separated from the hug.

Before Marcel could answer Klaus cut in saying ''Alright enough with the chitchat I came here for a reason''

''Ass'' Maya mumbled but her comment went ignored by the hybrid.

''What you need my brother'' Marcel said as he went back to fixing his tie.

''I'm afraid my sister Rebekah is insisting that I demand Elijah's return. She's quite worked up about it.''

''I'll say''

Cutting in Thierry said ''We're not gonna have four originals walking around town, are we?'' Pointing to Klaus he continued ''Half our guys think the sister killed the nightwalkers.'' Now facing Maya ''But I'm starting to think it was the wife'' He said making Maya become aggravated.

''Is that an accusation'' She said her face gone off all amusement.

''Yeah,'' Thierry said smugly setting her off.

''Against an original'' Walking up to him in a threatening manner.

''What did I say about peace'' Marcel said coming in between them before things could get out of hand. ''Come on both of you walk with me'' He said dragging them along with him.

''Your inner circle man lacks a sense of humour'' Said Klaus.

''He's a little overprotective but loyal to a fault'' Marcel said as they walked.

''Mhmm good for you I'm proud'' Maya said smiling at him making him feel proud. He had always sought approval from Maya. Something Klaus always admired.

"I saved his life back in the forties and found him dying of a war wound outside a hospital. He'll kill for me and die for me plus that boy can play the trumpet like you would not believe. Maybe I'll see if he can play a little for us tonight at the party." Stopping at the bottom of the stairs Marcel turned around and pointed at them saying "You're coming right"

Facing him Klaus said, "How can I miss my chance to meet the city councilmen." Maya rolled her eyes she knew Klaus was up to something tonight he just hadn't told her. "As he accepts your gigantic charitable donation."

"He sounds like a schmuck," She said making Marcel chuckle. "He is but he lets us do our thing in exchange for certain community services. Like keeping our fangs out of locals." Facing the vampires who were working in the distance Marcel turned back to look at Klaus and Maya and added " Listen. About your brother, I would love to help you out but Thierry is right. My guys are on edge. They see the original family moving in vampires dying it makes them nervous." Then let them be Maya mentally scoffed at Marcel's words.

"If I hand Elijah back it might give the wrong impression on who's in charge around here. You know what I mean." He finalized trying to get Klaus to understand from his point of view.

Seeing that Klaus was on the verge of lashing out Maya said "You understand we had to ask" Keeping a calm face and voice even though she was raging inside.

Maya eventually got bored with Marcel and Klaus so she left and went to join Rebekah who was now waiting for Sohpie Deveraux to come so that they all could interrogate the witch Katie who ratted Hayley out to Marcel.

''Ugh Becks what's taking her so long,'' Maya complained for the fifth time as they waited for Sophie. She felt like she had been waiting for hours when in reality she had only been waiting for a couple of minutes.

''Bloody hell Maya would you stop complaining-'' Rebekah started but cut herself off when she saw Sophie walking up to them. ''Oh so glad you could make it. Elijah only lies daggered and rotting whilst you dillydally'' Maya snorted making Sophie's attention turn to her.

''Your Amaya Mikaelson Klaus's wife,'' Sophie said looking at Maya with a look of shock, fear and awe. Maya smirked, she knew Sophie had heard of her judging by the look in her eyes.

''Indeed I am''

''Hello.'' Rebekah snapped her fingers. We're getting off-topic here''

''You're lucky I came at all. What do you want?'' Sophie sassily asked making Maya look at her shocked but impressed at Sophie's boldness no one would dare speak to an original like that.

''Sassy I like it'' Maya muttered making Rebekah painfully elbow her in the ribs. ''Ow'' She looked up at Rebekah with accusing eyes but she was looking at Sophie.

Tilting her head Rebekah said ''Hayley was attacked last night by Marcel's crew because somebody told him there was a werewolf in the Quarter. She only made one stop.'' Rebekah moved her eyes from Sophie to the small shop that they were standing in front of. ''Whoever saw her ratted her out.'' Rebekah entered the small shop with Maya and Sophie following close behind her.

''Watch and learn,'' Maya said to Sophie as they entered the shop.

Katie came out carrying a brown box and putting it on one of the tables before noticing that Sophie was in the store. ''Hey, Soph'' Katie happily said.

''Hey Katie'' Sophie stiffly replied but it seemed as if Katie didn't notice and if she did she ignored it.

Coming out of their supposed hiding spot Rebekah and Maya stopped beside Sophie observing a necklace. ''That's filled with marigolds great for attracting the opposite sex. I would look awesome on you guys'' Katie said while smiling at them. Was she always this chirpy? Maya thought silently chuckling to herself.

''Everything looks good on me'' Maya said as she turned to Katie.

Turning away from the necklace Rebekah started walking towards Katie who had her back turned to her.'' I seriously doubt that. Do you have any others, one with say I don't know wolfsbane perhaps?'' Rebekah knowingly said making Katie freeze in her actions before regaining her composure.

''Wolfsbane? Why would you want that'' Katie acted as if she didn't know what Rebekah was talking about but both the original girls could see right through her?

Speeding to her Maya grabbed Katie by her shoulders squeezing them tightly ''Please do not play dumb with us'' Throwing her a table while choking her Sophie yelled ''AMAYA'' But Amaya didn't listen instead she just slid Katie higher on the table raising her perfectly done eyebrows at her.

''I just sold a werewolf some herbs. That's all.'' Katie choked out struggling to breathe under Maya's tight grip. ''Are you lying to me, Katie. I suggest you answer Rebekah's question honestly."

Looking pleadingly at Sophie ''Sophie'' She said trying a weak attempt of prying Maya's hands off. It only made Maya squeeze harder annoyed by this whole ordeal.

''Sophie won't help you love'' Rebekah said smiling amusedly at the scene unfolding in front of her. ''Just answer the question, Katie, please.'' Rebekah faked innocence.

Directing her attention back to Maya who sarcastically smiled at her Katie confessed ''Yes. I told someone but you don't understand. I-I love him'' Maya rolled her eyes before angrily throwing Katie off the table and unto the floor.

''You lovesick fool. Love gets you nowhere in life'' Maya said with an underlying sadness in her voice but quickly covered it up before anyone noticed but Rebekah did.

Panting heavily as she looked at Maya who approached her with an angry look in her eyes holding the heel of her stiletto at her throat. ''Tell me who is this Romeo vampire of yours'' When Katie didn't answer and simply stared at her Maya took things a step further and instead pressed her heel against Katie's throat making her gasp. ''Shall I count to three''

Once Katie finally confessed to who she ratted Hayley out to Maya reluctantly let go of Katie to follow Rebekah out of the shop to make of phone call to Klaus.

''Well?'' Klaus immediately said when he picked up the phone.

''You were right about the traitor. Luckily she's just a kid and doesn't know anything about us and what we're up to. Do you want to hear the part that's gonna please you the most?'' Said Rebekah.

''Ah do tell'' Klaus said intrigued.

Taking the phone from Rebekah Maya said ''She was in love with someone from Marcel's inner circle. Like a lovesick puppy Guess who it is,'' She and Rebekah both looked back at Katie and Sophie who were conversing before turning back around.

''Right-hand man type, favours silly caps?'' He successfully guessed making Maya smirk into the phone.

''Ding ding ding. Two points for you. Thierry is fraternizing with the enemy'' Maya could practically feel Klaus's smirk through the phone.

''That means he just unwittingly became the key to our entire plan.''

''We told you, you would be pleased,'' Rebekah said from behind Maya.

''Oh to be young and in love in a city where witches and vampires are at war. How very tragic'' Klaus let out a small chuckle before hanging up the phone.

They were now back at the mansion and they were trying to convince Sophie of their plan but she was being stubborn and Maya wanted nothing more than to just Snap her neck and get over with it.

"Are you out of your mind? No way'' Sophie said as she looked at them in disbelief.

''It's very simple. We need you to perform a teeny tiny locator spell to help us find our brother.'' Rebekah said pacing before sitting down.

Looking down Sophie said ''Witches who practice magic in this town get caught, and they get killed.''

Moving to stand from behind the chair that Maya was sitting on Klaus sat on the last couch ''Yes about that you seem to have forgotten a crucial detail when we made our deal. Marcel's secret weapon, the way he knows when a witch is using magic.''

Raising her hand while looking at Sophie to demonstrate how tall Davina was Rebekah said ''Girl about ''yay'' High, cute as a button, anger issues.''

Looking at Rebekah in shock Sophie said ''Davina. Where have you seen her.'' She asked

''I don't know the little brat erased my memory right after she threw me out a window with her bloody mind'' Maya tried to stifle a laugh but failed miserably seeing as Rebekah glared at her.

''Let me cut to the chase. Davina has Elijah.'' Klaus said readjusting his position on the couch.

''Wow tell us something we don't know'' Maya said and rolled her eyes at Klaus who glared at her.

''You witches, I assume want to get Davina away from Marcel. We don't know where she is. Ergo we need magic.'' Klaus resumed smirking suggestively at Sophie.

''Davina would sense it'' Sophie pointed out making Maya chuckle.

Sophie's head snapped to her when Maya started talking ''Unless, of course, another witch, say a traitor to the cause, Katie for example, was to perform much more powerful magic at the same time. That would create a smokescreen concealing your very small locater spell from Davina.'' Klaus looked at Maya proudly for coming up with the idea.

Shaking her head Sophie said ''Katie doesn't deserve to die.'' eyes darting between the three originals.

Tired of Sophie's stubbornness Klaus aggressively smacked his hands on the table making Sophie jump he got up and sat on the table directly in front of Sophie. Getting close to her face ''Sophie Deveraux. You're in no position to be so principled. You can't win a war without a few strategic losses, no matter how regrettable they may be. How many times have the vampires been one step ahead, knowing something they shouldn't? Your sister was executed in the public square for practicing magic. Who knew she'd be caught? Did she even attempt to flee?'' Maya bit her lip because as much as she didn't want to admit it an angry Klaus was a hot Klaus.

''She was caught hiding in a cargo hold of freighter before it set sail down the Mississippi.'' Sophie calmy said but you could see she was hurt.

''And who pray to tell, of Marcel's valued inner circle manages his business at the docks? Klaus asked Sophie who looked at him hopelessly.

''Katie's boyfriend Thierry''

Getting up from her seat Maya said ''Well I'm off. Have fun doing whatever it is you do.''

''Where are you going,'' Maya smirked before turning to face Klaus.

''You'll see.''

Maya had decided she wanted to be fashionably late to the party. So she showed up an hour late when it was in full swing. It took some time but when she found them she walked up to Klaus and Rebekah she started to get angry. The human that Marcel was infatuated with was talking to Klaus and Rebekah. She wasn't mad that she was talking to them. No, she was mad about the way Klaus looked at her. He looked at her the same way he used to look at Amaya.

''Is he the infamous on-again, off-again?'' Cami asked Rebekah looking at Klaus.

Chuckling Rebekah said ''Oh bloody no. He's my brother and..'' Rebekah trailed off seeing Maya approach them she nudged Klaus making him look at her questionably before following her gaze to see Maya now standing directly in front of them in all her glory.

When Klaus saw her, he was speechless he looked at her up and down observing her appearance. How her dress hugged all her curves-

''And this Camille is my sister-in-law, Klaus's wife'' Rebekah said. Maya smirked seeing Cami's saddened look that she tried to cover up.

''Amaya Mikaelson pleasure to meet you'' Amaya said stretching her hand for Cami to shake while giving her an intimidating smile. It was Rebekah's turn to smirk knowing that Amaya was trying to intimidate Camille.

''Camille O'Connell'' Cami hesitantly took Maya's hand.

Klaus had yet to say anything to entranced with Maya's appearance.
