《Devil in My Heart》Meet Again with Lucien

When she had walked far enough from the palace, Ryana rested under a thick tree. There was a sound in the bushes. Ryana noticed that something was suspicious. She intended to leave the place. But before she could get up, an arrow shot out. She quickly dodged the arrow which was then stuck in the tree trunk where she was leaning.
"Who is there?" Ryana shouted.
"Smart as well, lady," said the soldier who covered his face.
"There are five people," I muttered.
"What do you want?"
Ryana is on alert.
"Give up your life so you don't have to suffer."
"Who would want to give up my life to you?" I spoke.
The leader of the group gave the signal to attack.
I immediately took out Wezen's sword and parried their attacks. When someone attacked from my left side, I quickly held the sword with my left hand which I had covered with ice crystal as hard as diamond. I lowered my left arm and then kicked his chin with my right foot and punched those who came with my left hand until they bounced.
"Brakkk."
Then I checked that they were Demetria's soldiers.
"Why would a royal soldier attack me? Who ordered you?"
"It's on the order of Lord Dion."
"I guessed so."
However, there was one soldier who suddenly got up from behind to attack me. Because I'm sensitive and stay alert, I looked back while and kicked his chest until he bounced.
"That's enough here. No need to follow me anymore. I didn't mean to kill you either." I said to them as I got on my horse and left them the losers.
"Seriously??" I muttered.
Ryana walked through the forest. Without knowing, it turns out she is being hunted by Tyrone. Tyrone ordered his followers in various places to catch her.
"Why is this forest so quiet unlike usual? I feel a terrifying aura."
"Srak... srak..." The sound of footsteps among the bushes.
The horse that I was riding was revolted. I then got down and stroked the horse while saying, "Calm down... calm down..." But after that, the horse ran.

"Hey wait..." I spoke. Humph... Ryana took a deep breath.
I pulled out my weapon to be on standby. Behind the tree, a tall figure appeared. Not just one, but many in various forms.
"What the hell is this?" I muttered.
I was shocked when I saw their appearance. Judging by their expressions, they are unfriendly.
"Excuse me... I'll be passing through," I said to them politely.
But there was an archer who shot an arrow from the left side and stuck it on the ground right in front of my feet.
"Argh!!! Turns out I was right, they weren't friends," I said while running away like a horse.
"But what do they want? I can't fight them all." I muttered.
At that time, I remembered Lucien and the others who had protected me. "I can't keep depending on them. But can I face them?"
As I ran, the figure of an asura flew in front of me. When I went to the other side, I was also blocked. There was no other way, I attacked a figure in front of me. But I was hit by a punch and bounced backward. Not only that but I was also struck by a claw on my right arm. I knelt on the ground.
"Urgh!!!" I formed ice crystals all over my left arm and punched him in the stomach through my elbow. For a moment I was released from his stranglehold.
"You guys only dare to gang up on people," I speak.
"We don't care, what matters is that you die soon," said another.
"Braak!!"
I was on my knees and looking at the figure in front of me.
"Lucien!!" I said excitedly when I saw it.
Lucien glanced back and smiled.
With his sword as well as his magic, he creates long-range attacks by simply swinging his sword. The asuras fell to the ground.
Lucien brought me and then left the place by flying but we didn't go far. Lucien slowly descended. I flinched at his sudden change.
"Why now?" Lucien spoke to himself.
"We must quickly find a place to hide." Said Lucien.

"W-well..." I followed with panic in myself.
"No!!! I said as I stopped. "I don't want to leave you anymore. Even if it had to die, it would have to be me. They chased me. You have nothing to do with this."
"I can't let that happen," Lucien replied.
"Then, I will die with you. I won't run away from you again," said Ryana who was shedding tears.
Lucien flinched and grabbed Ryana's hand. Lucien said as he asked her to run together.
"Yes." Ryana smiled at the answer that came out of Lucien's mouth.
But unfortunately, not long after, they were intercepted by a group of asuras. They were cautious at first, but seeing Lucien not attacking with his strength, they started to act.
"Archer team!" Shouted the leader.
"Ready!" Answer the follower.
Arrows shot at them both.
"Stay behind me," Lucien said to Ryana.
Lucien swung his sword and parried their attacks. At first, Lucien was able to parry the attack, but slowly, he was stabbed by arrows.
"Continue!" said the group leader.
They also shot again until the arrow was pierced in several parts of Lucien's body. Lucien protects Ryana from arrows.
"No!!!" Ryana shouted hysterically and then through her hands, she formed many sharp crystals and threw them directly. Some of them were pierced by the crystal and fell from the tree branches. I immediately grabbed Lucien's hand to escape.
We ran into the bushes to hide. They are still chasing. Then, I saw a cave on the other side and decided to hide there. I led him to walk towards the cave which was quite large with a torch attached and realized my hands were wet with the blood seeping out from the side of his stomach. I panicked and was scared. What should I do?"
I laid Lucien there and then got up to go to find medicine or help. But Lucien grabbed my hand and said, "Don't go. It's dangerous outside."
"How can I just sit here watching you get hurt?"
"I am alright. This wound doesn't kill me. When my strength recovers, this wound will heal. But now, I look pathetic. I was supposed to protect you, but instead troubled you," said Lucien sadly.
"Do not say that. We have to protect and take care of each other." I answered.
"It's hard to believe. I saw the blood seeping out of his abdomen." I thought.
Because Lucien's body is like a human's, his body system also functions like a human's.
Shortly after, our place was discovered. "Wow... Woah... Woah... Turns out they're here, boss."
Ryana and Lucien were shocked. The asuras are easily known because one of their gang has a sharp sense of smell like a dog. Then one of the asuras cast his magic and entangled Lucien with the chains that appeared from underground and the cave walls. Because they think that Lucien must be wary. Now Lucien was helpless, chains bound him, he was kneeling on the ground, punch by punch was aimed at him and finally someone came forward and raise his sword while saying "Die you!"
Ryana who couldn't stand the sight, then stepped forward to become his shield. "Stop!!!!"
"Jlebbb." Ryana was stabbed with a sword in the stomach.
"Arrrgh!!!" shouted Ryana in pain.
Right in front of his eyes and almost hitting him who was kneeling and bound by chains, Lucien saw blood dripping from the tip of the sword. Tess... tess... Lucien's memories of the goddess Lyra in heaven came to his mind again. The criminal then pulled out the sword and said, "You stupid. But it's good also means that our work is done." He said as he turned around.
Ryana turned to look at Lucien and said the last few words while touching Lucien's face. "Hope you are safe and live well. Please don't kill anyone. I beg for my sake, forgive them."
"Ugh... Ugh..." She coughs up blood.
Then Ryana continued, "I'm sorry I wanted to part with you and left you for no reason. But now I'm looking for you to confess my love to you. I love you, Aquila since we were in heaven," stammered Ryana. Then she fell to the ground.
"Brakkk!!!"

The Everyday Life of A Pathfinder
Pathfinders are people who are respected and revered, not because of power or might, but because of knowledge of the world. They are the peacekeepers between humans and nature. Guiding humans through the most dangerous areas known to man and killing any species which attempts to throw off the balance of the natural world. This is their job - and their passion. *** Note: This story is going to have a few generic elements in it, like fantasy setting, guilds, cursing and stuff like that. A few (a lot) of things it won’t have is: Overly bloody descriptions, I don’t need to have enough buckets of gore to fill a ballroom for people to get that guy is defiantly dead; Rape, I don’t like it and it’s honestly painful writing that stuff; Harems, fuck harems; Overpowered MC, EVER; Game elements/ transported to another world, overused as shit; “I’m out for revenge”, no one cares; “My village was burned down and everyone died ;-;”, yeah you and the other 60% of the population; A lot of overly dramatic events, Drama has its time and place to be impactful, so you need to use it sparingly so when you do it’s special; “I’m going to stab you because I’m CrAZy, I believe that everyone has a reason for what they do, sometimes the reason is because they’re fucking insane, but I’m still not going to write things like that; Generic fantasy creatures, I’m tired of hearing about the fucking mystical dragons or the god damn slimes, so I’m going to create my own monster. Also feel free to roast. I don't get offended easily and it's honestly one of the best ways to increase writing abilites.
