I woke up to my alarm blaring through the room. I quickly turn it off before it can wake anyone else up and try to stand up but fall back onto the bed. Last night's beating must have been worse than I thought seeing as I'm having a hard time standing up. I slowly try getting up again this time I succeed, I make my way to my closet to get my clothes for the day. As I make my way into the bathroom I strip out of my clothes and look at the black and blue bruises all over my body. I quickly take a five minute shower.

Once out of the shower I change into the clothes I picked out which consists of an oversized white and orange striped sweater, ripped blue jeans, and white shoes. Once I'm ready I rush down the stairs to cook breakfast for everyone. When passing the livingroom I noticed my mother was asleep on the couch probably drunk out of her mind life always. My father wasn't in there so he was more than likely in their room. Just as I was getting to the kitchen my twin brother Cameron came down the stairs.

"Hey sis, how about I cook this morning for us? I won't tell them that it was me." Cameron whispered when he was in front of me. I thought about his offer and decide it would be alright just this once.

"Okay, I guess that would be alright." I quietly said back to him. After giving him the go-ahead he starts to cook us some breakfast. My brother isn't like the people in my pack he doesn't care that I was born an omega.

I'm Eliana Khan the daughter of an alpha yet I was born an omega. I'm also technically the firstborn even though Cameron and I are twins I was born five minutes before him. No one knows why I was born an omega when my father is an alpha. Since I was born an omega Cameron is the next in line for alpha because they won't have an omega even if I'm the rightful heir. I do have Cameron and my best and only friend Kyle to help me through the abuse. Kyle is the neighboring packs beta as well as the alphas brother. I've never met his brother though I have met his little sister.

"Okay breakfast is ready." Cam said bringing me back from my thoughts. He sits down four plates all containing pancakes, eggs, and toast.

"Thank you so much for doing this." I say eating food quickly. We eat in comfortable silence. We are both done eating within five minutes. I quickly wash the plates and sit them in the strainer to dry. Walking out of the kitchen I grab my backpack I sat next to the door and make my way outside.

"Hurry up and get into the car!" Cam yells from inside the car. I run to the car and jump into the passenger seat as he starts the car. The ride to school was spent in a comfortable silence apart from the soft sound of the radio. As Cam parks the car girls surround the car hoping to get his attention and sending glares my way. I get out of the car and rush over to Kyle who is by the door waiting for me like always.

"Hey Ellie!" Kyle said putting an arm around me leading us inside the school. Even though Kyle is openly gay a lot of the girls still try to get with him because he's a high rank in his pack. So as we are walking together to our lockers I'm getting glares from both male and female. As we get to our lockers that are next to each other we get out our things for class and make our way to first period. Our schedules are the same so we are in the same exact classes throughout the day.

The first two periods went by quickly and finally it was time for Health class. Today we are finding out our end of course project since we are close to the end of the semester. Kyle and I walk into class and sit next to each other in the back row as the teacher comes in. Ms. Well is one of the laid back teachers were she doesn't care what you do as long as you get your work done.

"Alright, class as you all know today ill be announcing the end of semester project. So this year you and a partner are going to have to research birth defects and other health issues someone could have if the mother didn't take the necessary precautions while the child was in the womb. Now for this project, you will get to choose your partners so good luck and chose carefully." Ms. Well told the class. Right away when she said we could choose our partner's kyle and I looked at each other already knowing we were going to be partners.

"So do you want to come to my place this weekend and we can work on the project then?" He asked me while I just nodded in response. "Okay, so we will meet at the school on Saturday at let's say 3:00 and go from there."

"That sounds like a good plan. I'll have to have Cam drop me off here if he's not busy but that's okay. Is your brother going to be home? I know he doesn't like my pack very much."

" Yeah, he supposed to be home but don't worry I won't let him come near you if you don't want him to."

"I guess it doesn't really matter as long as he doesn't try to pull anything it should be fine." As I say that the bell rings for us to go to lunch.

The rest of the day went by quickly and soon enough it was time for us to go home. "Ellie I got to go Marcell is calling me home for something important but ill call later okay?"

"Yeah go ahead and go ill be fine on my own for a few minutes." He kisses my cheek and turns running out the door. As I turn around I come face to face with Eliza, the schools' queen b, and her minions.

"Why does he still take to you can't he see that your nothing but an omega that needs to be put in her place?" I have never stood up for myself with her because I know that she has some truth to what she is saying. I didn't say anything to her just kept my head down. "Hey, I'm talking to you!" She shouted getting angry. Just when I think she is going to hit me Cameron comes around the corner and to my rescue.

"What do you think you are doing to my sister?!?" He yelled angrily.

"Just putting her in her place."

"Well, maybe I should put you in your place next time! Leave my sister alone!" He grabbed my arm and pulled me out the door and to his car pushing me into my seat. The way home is silent apart from his heavy breathing.
