I wake up the next morning to the smell of food, tickling my nose. Nobody ever wakes up this early to cook breakfast. I walk down stairs to see Samuel stirring a pan of eggs.

"Good Morning Sunshine, you're looking a little rough" He says looking at me up and down, in a cocky voice.

I rolled my eyes, "What you making?" I ask.

"Eggs and bacon. And cinnamon rolls for you. I removed you always begged your mom to cook you some." Samuel says.

He's so sweet.

"Sounds good" I reply.

He turns of the stove and empties the pan onto a plate, and looks at me.

"Sarah we need to talk," He says, but gets cut off by mom entering the kitchen.

"Who's burning the house down" She laughs.

She sees Samuel cooking.

"Never mind. I should of known," She jokes.

I walk out to the dock and sit down,

In hope of Samuel coming out here. Not a minute later, he comes walking out.

"Can we talk now?" He asks rubbing his neck. I nod.

"Sarah, I don't know how you felt during, our kiss but I," He paused and looked straight into my eyes, "I thought it was amazing."

"Look, I know, I thought it was too, but, i don't know. You're my brother's best friend, and you're much older than me, and I don't know if we can.." I responded, in a shaky manner.

"I know, I know. This is all going, a little bit too fast, but we can make it work. I do want it to work," Samuel said as he looked out at the lake and back to me, "I've known you for as long as I can remember. I mean, well, we can still date... You're underaged, I know. It sucks, because I want to be with you. Since I got here, you're all I've been thinking about. The old memories have been flooding back. Despite what's going on with your brother, I really, really want to be with you. And if that means, I can't touch you, or even tell people that we're together, then I'm all for it."

I sat there in aw about what he said.

"So do I. I like you Samuel Owens," I said and he chuckled, "And I want to be with you, but there's no point, if we can't really can't be together."

"Yeah but I can still kiss the hell out of you," He says, and I smirk at the thought of it. However, I don't know if it's a good idea. My mom would freak, Shawn would try to kill him, and my dad would go insane. I'm supposed to be the smart one of me and my brother. I can't make any bad choices.

"Yeah, but how would my family react," I says getting anxious.

"We don't have to tell them if you don't want to." He says grabbing my hand.

"I don't know" I say standing up I turn around but he grabs my hand.

"Sarah, please"He says, but I peel myself away, and walk off into the house, holding back the tears.
