《His Vampire king[√]》Chapter Ten

Skye was excited. It was the day before his graduation and he was packing all of his things. Which wasn't a lot. He would pack them in his truck tonight so he wouldn't have to do it tomorrow before he left for graduation. He had all his clothes folded neatly and in his suitcase already. He packed everything that has meaning to him and started bringing them down to his truck.
He stood in by the door and gave his room one last look at the room he lived in for the past few years. He had his last bag in his hand, which was his school bag. He made his way down the stairs and collected his keys off the table.
He placed the bag on the passenger seat of his truck and pulled the flap on the back of the truck over the others, to protect them in case it rained in the night. He closed the tailgate, locked the truck and started the walk away when the sound of a vehicle coming up the driveway made him turn and look back.
Seeming his father's car, he frowned. He didn't want his father here to ruin his plans. He watched as the car stopped and his father stepped out with his mother and another man that he didn't know.
"Skye, darling we have great news." His mother said, coming up to him and tried to hug him but he side stepped her.
"Mother," he greeted, as if she was a stranger to him, and in truth she was.
"Skye, this is Alpha Austin, he is the leader of the South moon pack." His father said, motioning to the man who was standing by the car, looking very unimpressed.
Skye was confused about what this information had to do with him. He didn't know the man, never seen the man before and he sure wouldn't have seen him again after he left with Viktor.

"Alpha Austin lost his Mate a few years ago and Alpha Jacob thought it would be a good idea if he mates with one of our pack members to create an alliance." His father said and Skye just stared at him. Still not getting what he was trying to say.
"Skye, honey." His mother said, making him look at her. "The Alpha thought that since you were the Beta's son that you would make a perfect fit for him." She said and Skye finally got it.
He shook his head stepping back from them. "No," he said in a shaky voice, his hands balled into a fist.
His father's expression turned dark. "What did you just say?" He asked.
"I said no, I'm not mating with him." Skye said, voice much former this time.
"Skye, this is your only chance to get a mate, you'd be happy." His mother said, sounding like she was trying to convince him.
"No, it's not. I found my mate." Skye snapped, and immediately realized his mistake when his father's eyes flashed.
"Don't lie, Omegas like you don't have mates. You will mate with Alpha Austin tomorrow after graduation and be useful for once in your pathetic life." His father yelled at him.
Skye frowned and backed away, his bumping into his truck, that's when he remembered the keys in his pocket. He felt behind him and opened the door before hopping in and slamming the door behind him and locking it.
He pulled out the key with shaky fingers and put it into the ignition starting the car. He smiled when the truck started, he placed the truck in reverse and jumped as the door banged. He looked up and saw his father trying to open the door, and his mom standing by Alpha Austin talking frantically.

He cast one more look at his father before placing his foot on the gas pedal and zooming out of the driveway. He dropped at the end of the driveway and made sure he was facing the right direction before going into drive and speaking away.
Not too long after he pulled up in front of the pack house and hopped out of the truck, making sure to lock it before rushing into the house.
"Skye?" He heard Zack called as he entered. He paused and looked into the living to see Zack coming over to him.
"Zack," he exclaimed, going over to his brother.
"Are you trying to get killed? What are you doing here?" Zack asked.
"I need to find King Viktor." Skye told him, and his brother frowned down at him.
"Why?" he asked.
"He's my mate, and dads trying to make me mate with someone else." Skye explained and his brother sighed.
"Second floor, last door on the right." Zack said, Skye hugged him quickly before running up the stairs. He came to the second floor and the scent of Viktor was overwhelming. He followed his scent rushing past a few pack members on his way there.
He got to the last door and burst through the door without knocking, hearing the gasp of the members watching him. "Viktor." He called out as he saw his mate. Sitting on the couch, he ran over and threw himself at him.
"Skye?" Viktor asked, "what are you doing here?"
