《My Arranged Shaadi (Complete)》Chapter- 28 Expressing Yourself Is Important

"The patient is totally out of danger now as he's back to conscious state." The doctor said and I took a breath of relief. The doctor then left the room.
"I... I'm so sorry Paras." I said taking his hand in mine. I just saw his lips curve up into a small smile.
"But you... you stupid... you were the sensible one na! How could you even think of leaving me??!!" I said while sobbing and hit him lightly on the shoulder.
"I... I ..." He said and coughed. I rushed to bring some water for him.
"Here... have this. You don't need to say anything right now! You must rest!" I said and helped him get up to drink the water. I quickly wiped my tears.
"I'll inform everyone... I'll be right back." I said and went out of the room.
I dialed Paras's mother's number. I was quite nervous as I had never talked to her properly since I lost my memory.
"Hello..." I heard her voice on the phone.
"Hello, Mrs. Singhania?" I asked.
"Yes Nishtha... you can call me mom." She said. She seemed tired by her voice.
"Yeah... okay ... mom... I called to tell you that Paras is awake." I said and she gasped.
"R...eally???"She asked in disbelief.
"Yes..." I said softly.
"Oh my god! I'm telling everyone! We'll be at the hospital in no time." She said and hung up. I just smiled. I saw at my left, it was the same temple.
I went there and thanked Ganpati Bappa for keeping my Paras safe.
As Paras's mother had said, his family was there at the hospital in no time. Everyone was allowed to meet Paras.
I was standing near the door, watching how everyone was pampering Paras. His mother kissed his forehead. I suddenly felt empty, my mother never kissed my forehead. Even when I used to be sick, the maids took care of me.
I didn't want to get emotional in front of everyone, therefore I was about to leave. But Paras's mother stopped me.
"Nishtha beta, come here..." She called me and I nodded. I went there and she caressed my head.
"God bless you my child." She said and I smiled.
"Ram Ram, look at this girl. What kind of clothes is she wearing?" An old woman said and I looked at her in disgust.

"What kind of faces are you making? Hasn't anyone taught you to touch the feet of elders!" She roared.
"Oh I would have loved to, but I don't want to. Here's the thing, you my dear don't seem respectable." I said with the fakest smile possible. Everyone looked at me with a shocked expression.
"Oh my god, how dare you speak like that to me?" She asked pointing her finger at me. What an irritating old hag.
"Oh man, there's no daring in talking like that. If you say a single word now I'll twist your hand and break that forefinger of yours so that you would never be able to point it at anyone." I said in a creepy voice.
"God! Look at this mannerless girl! Who are you to talk to me like that?" She still had the nerve to ask that.
"Oh woman, my husband just got back to consciousness, I wanna be happy! And did you not listen to what I said earlier? I really meant it!" I threatened her and took a step towards her.
"Bahu (daughter in law) ! This is the result of giving the ladies of the house unnecessary freedom!" She said to my mother in law.
"Hey hey lady, if you have guts then have a one on one with me. Don't drag my mother in law in it!" I said.
"You know mannerless girl... I..." She wanted to utter more bullshit but I interrupted her.
"Uh uh, if you don't leave this room at this instance, I'll do what I said earlier." I said folding my arms.
"Beta see what this girl..." Ughhh this lady was too stubborn.
"That's it." I said and held her wrist. She looked horrified. She pulled her hand away with a jerk and ran out of the room.
"Well that was a really unnecessary conversation!" I sighed and said to nobody in particular.
"Beta that was Paras's grandfather's sister... you shouldn't have talked to her like that." My mother in law said softly and I was about to reply when Paras interrupted.
"Well, I thought it was awesome." He said which instantly brought a smile to my face.
"Paras!" Mom scolded him and smacked him lightly on the head.
"Well mom, someone needed to teach her a lesson. She was way to rude to suit the 21st century." I explained.
"That's also true beta. What surprised me the most is, you never talked to her like that ever before!" She said. It really surprised me.

"What?? I really tolerated that bullshit without saying anything?" I asked. I was really shocked. I don't know what had happened to me in the past few year. By what I had heard from friends and family, I could conclude that I had completely changed.
I thought that it was better that Paras's mother stayed with him tonight. I decided to crash at Anvita's place for a girl's night. Wait, I lived there only lol.
I used to eat in my room everyday so as to give privacy to Anvita and her husband. Anvita's husband Rahul was also very cooperative.
After our dinner was done, I went to Anvita.
"Hey Anu..." I said as she was doing something on her phone.
"Hey Nishu! Sit na!" She said.
"I was wondering if we can have a movie night tonight! Like old days! Unless you have sex plans..." I blurted out and she laughed.
"Yeah sure dude! And nope. I have no 'sex plans' as I am on my period." She said and both of us chuckled.
"Let's watch Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani then! I can never get tired of watching that film!" I said excitedly and she nodded being equal excited.
"You go to your room and switch on Netflix, I'll bring some ice cream from fridge." She said. I nodded and went to my room.
She came there in no time.
We were in the middle of the scene when Naina reaches the railway station.
"You know, Paras woke up." I said while my eyes still on the screen.
"Wh...WHAT???? How can you say that so plainly woman!" She said while staring at me.
"I already had my happy moment this afternoon bro." I said and she was shooting daggers at me with her eyes.
"You came to know that this afternoon and you didn't even bother to tell me?" She asked raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah, I'm sorry! But my mind was occupied with an other thought!" I said and she looked at me with her eyes full of curiosity.
"What thought?" She asked curiously.
"Well, today I gave a piece of my mind to Sir Singhania's sister. And what I got to know was that I had never talked to her like that ever before! I mean how is that even possible?" I said staring into space.
"Well it's a long story..." She said and sighed.
"Oh dear, I would love to hear the story of MY life!" I said and chuckled.
"Well if you want to listen then let me tell you! You and Akshay, it could not happen. You parents kept on imposing their decisions on you. You had reached the acceptance stage and you had started to ignore whatever shit people used to say. It really cause some emotional problems to you." She explained in short.
"That's wrong! Had I really stopped expressing myself?" I said narrowing my eyes.
"Yeah, and you my dear, need to do some damage control! 'Cause you have messed up big this time with Paras!" She said and I suddenly started feeling guilty again.
"Do you think he has his phone right now?" She asked me.
"Yeah, his mother must have given him his phone." I replied.
"Then what are you waiting for? Go ahead! Drop a text!" She said.
"Saying what????" I asked.
"Whatever you feel..."Yeah she was right.
I nodded and grabbed my phone from the side of the bed. I just opened WhatsApp and Paras's last seen was 1 minute ago. (P.S. I know we can't see the last seen anymore)
I just started typing. It was a long message and as I was writing it, his status turned to online.
- Dear Paras, I know I am behaving like a 'lil coward writing this message instead of talking face to face to my husband. But I want you to know that I... I am extremely sorry and guilty too. I can do anything, literally anything to make it up to you. From all the things I have heard about you and remembered about you in the past month, I have really come to like you so much and I really want you to know that.
He read it immediately.
"Anvita! It has been two minutes!!! He hasn't replied! Did he just leave me on seen???" I know I was acting like a teenage girl waiting for the reply of her crush but IDGAF!
"Hold your horses dude! Look look ! He is typing!!" She said and I immediately started staring at the screen again.
- Really? Anything?
Oh thank God he replied!
Yess! Any fucking thing!
- Move in with me.
