《My Arranged Shaadi (Complete)》Chapter 25- She Knows

I was trying my level best to maintain my composure. How come did I get married to Paras Singhania? That A grade asshole! I was so happy with Akshay. No wonder I was forced to marry this Paras guy.
I was feeling really stressed. I never wanted to be stuck in a loveless marriage. I always wanted a happy family because I didn't have one since birth. I was devastated after learning that Paras Singhania was my husband.
I had an accident, I should be worried about my injuries. But all I could think of was what the hell was there in the news that nobody wanted me to see. I desperately wanted to know what happened! Therefore I decided to dig in the news.
I was ready for the worst. And the worst would be, Oberoi Enterprises handed over to Paras Singhania. Yeah right lol! But my own father wouldn't do it! Or would he?
Paras had made all the arrangements so that I wouldn't be able to read or watch or even hear the news in any case. He cut off the cable from our TV, he put passwords on all the applications on my laptop except Netflix and all the Microsoft applications. He had taken my phone and given a keypad phone to me just for calling purposes.
But I'm also THE Nishtha Oberoi. Paras had gone for work. A caretaker was hired to take care of me. My whole apartment was surrounded by bodyguards. And I knew that my friends or relatives wouldn't tell me anything.
So I called my secretary and called her at our house, I told her that I wanted to discuss about work. I informed those bodyguards about the arrival of my secretary.
My secretary was there in no time. But the problem was that a bodyguard and the caretaker were there to spy on me. We all were sitting in my room.
"Sir, could you please wait outside, we have some confidential things to discuss." I politely requested the bodyguard. He nodded and left. Ok, now I had to shoo this caretaker away.
"Mamta, I'm having a slight headache. Could you please bring me a cup of lemon tea?" I asked my caretaker with puppy eyes and she too nodded and left for the kitchen.
"So Aarohi, let's discuss about what's going on with the shares, profits and losses of our company. But first I need to send a message." I said and pretended to see my phone.
"Oh shoot, the battery is dead. May I please use your phone?" I asked her.

"Sure" She said and handed over the phone to me. Damn, it was so easy. Nishtha, no matter what's on the news, you don't have to show any kind of emotion on your face.
I opened Google Chrome which by God's grace didn't have any password. I typed Nishtha Oberoi on the search bar. I opened the first news link.
OBEROI ENTERPRISES HANDED OVER TO PARAS SINGHANIA. NISHTHA SINGHANIA RUNS AWAY FROM THE PARTY AFTER HEARING THE ANNOUNCEMENT.
What the fuck! I was numb, I was beyond shocked. How could they do this to me! I... I had worked so hard, I had worked day and night, even skipped my meals, just for that fucking company. I could this man take away my dream from me!
Then everything started making sense to me. Paras married me, treated me like hell, manipulated my parents, talked them into handing over the company to him. I ran away from that party, I was rash driving therefore I met an accident. Or was that accident also a part of Paras Singhania's plan!
"Ma'am, are you alright?" My secretary said breaking my chain of thoughts.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine..." I quickly closed the app and gave the phone to her.
"I'm sorry Aarohi but I really need to go somewhere." I said and got up. Before she could say anything, I stormed out of my bedroom. I asked one of the guards to take me to my company... a company which wasn't mine anymore.
I was fuming with anger. My head was slightly aching. I couldn't remember a single thing but I could imagine the situation.
As soon as we reached the company, I rushed to my father's cabin. I stormed inside without knocking at the door. He lifted his eyes up from the file to see me. A thin line appeared on his forehead.
"Nishtha, why are you here? You should be resting at home right now." He said. Huh, I just wanted to ask him to shut up. I didn't want anybody's fake sympathy, especially his.
"Why did you do this to me?" I asked in a low voice. But he didn't say anything. He just kept looking at me with a confused face.
"I ASKED WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO ME!" I shouted loudly which shook him. My head had started to pain like hell. But that was the least of my concerns right now. I needed my answers.
"Nishtha, you have to understand... you had become incompetent." He said which angered me more.

"Incompetent my foot! First you forced me to married that bastard and then you took away the only reason I was living from me! I wish I didn't survive that accident!" I said with teary eyes. He just kept looking at the floor. I grabbed my bag and left for the apartment.
The second I entered the apartment, I saw his face was red. He looked clearly angry.
"Why did you leave the house? I asked you to stay at home right!" He said, anger was evident in his voice. But I was angrier. I was so angry that I couldn't even think straight.
"Who the fuck are you to tell me what to do and what not to?" I shouted and he looked at me with a shocked face.
"Wh...at?" He asked.
"What?? Well, I'll tell you what! You took away my everything!!!!" I said with venom dripping from my voice.
"Nishtha... calm down." He said walking towards me.
I grabbed the vase which was kept on the table.
"Don't come near me." I warned. My eyes must have gone red. I was trembling due to anger and the headache.
"Please listen to me." He said taking a step towards me. I threw the vase on the floor with full force in front of him. It broke down into several pieces.
"Did not hear me? I said don't come near me!" I said and a tear slipped down my eye. The pain was unbearable, the emotional pain caused by my father and the physical pain of the headache too.
"Okay okay, I'll stay away. You just calm down and sit. Mamta, bring some water for her." He said in a calm tone.
"Water? Or poison?" I said looking right in his eyes.
"What the hell are you saying Nishta???!!" He said.
"That's what you want right? You want me to die! That's why you planned that accident! But don't worry you won't need to kill me now! Because I don't want that company now! I guess it was never mine. You can have it!" I said and he looked as if he was on the verge of crying. I am pretty sure he was faking it.
"Nishtha! How can you accuse me of such a thing! You are my wife! I love you! I never fucking wanted your company man!" He said. His voice was breaking. His eyes had welled up. He would prove to be an amazing actor, he can even win an Oscar for it.
"Yeah yeah this marriage bullshit! You know what... Take this." I removed the ring from my finger and threw it on his face. The ring then fell on the floor and the sound echoed in the room. Paras was frozen at his place, his mouth was hung open. A tear slipped down his eye.
"I need my phone back. Give it to me right now." I said and he pursed his lips in a thin line.
"It's in your cupboard, second last drawer." He said in a low voice.
I quickly went to my room and packed some essential stuff. When I exited my room, he was still standing there. I went to the door and looked at him for one last time.
"I'll send someone to grab the remaining stuff. And yeah, the divorce papers will be sent to you soon." I said and left for Anvita's house.
I couldn't believe my ears. How could she do this to me? I loved her, I loved her more than myself. I could never do such a thing to her.
My world was shattered. I... I was broken. I wanted to win her heart again but instead of giving me a chance, she accused me of a heinous crime.
After she was gone, I just sat on the couch staring at the floor. This wasn't my Nishtha, she was a Nishtha who hated me.
I had no reason to live. The love of my life thought I tried to kill her. I didn't want those companies. Yeah, I desperately wanted to become the CEO, but that had become my second dream. My biggest dream was to have an amazing life with my wife.
I wanted her to be the happiest person alive. I wanted her to be the mother of my kids. I wanted a sweet little family of my home with Nishtha by my side. But all of it was impossible now.
I picked my phone up and texted my brother.
Paras- Ahaan, tell mom and dad that I really loved them. I love you too brother, so much. I want you to handle our company very nicely after me. I have full faith in you. There's no reason for me to live now. I love Nishtha, she is my life, but she is gone now. Goodbye and take care of everyone and yourself
I said and took out the cutter from the shelf.
