Wedding preparations were going on crazily! None of us had time to rest even for a second. Everyone was busy with some work but Samar and Suman Di were busy in most serious topic; that was-
"Warisha mere side se aayegi!"
"Nahi! Mere side se!"
"Maine kaha na- MERE!" Di puts her hand on her waist glaring at Samar.
"Mere!" Samar held my hand and pulled me to his side.
"Samar!" Di snapped holding my hand and pulling me away from him, "mere side se aayegi! "
Seeing my struggling figure Sanam and Keshu came in my rescue.
Keshav said: "Samar.. Suman.. Tum dono aapas me decide karlo. If you keep pulling her like this then bechari ke haath hi nahi rehenge."
"Haa..! " Sanam agreed getting me out from between the nagging couple.
"To samjha na is Suman ko that Warisha hamari side se hogi." Samar declared.
"Aray! " Di snapped, "Aise kaise tumhare side se hogi yeh? You already have your brother Sanam; and Keshu, Venky, Ben, Amit- sab tumhare side se hai.. Then Warisha is from mine and that's final! " she concluded.
"Point." Keshav agreed.
"Kya point?" Samar asked, "kya point? Yeh sab to ladke hai.. Koi ladki bhi to honi chahiye na.. Warisha mere side se! "
"Aray... Kitne besharam ho tum, Samar." Suman di said in disbelieve, "you have all my friends in your side and you also want her because tumhare side me ladki nahi hai? Count karu maik tumhari kitni cousins hai.. Karu? karu? "
"Point, Samar." Sanam agreed, "We have Disha, Meera, Mehak, Man-"
"Bas-Bas.." Samar stopped Sanam, "Toh kya hua? Warisha bhi to jaldi hamari family mein aane wali hai.. To woh mere side se aayegi na woh.. Baraat ke saath! "
Oh God! My cheeks felt warm when Samar said that. Sanam wrapped his arm around my shoulder smiling cheekily, "Samar got a point there."
"Oye... Kahe ka point. Kaise? Kaise aayegi woh tumhari family mein? If you don't remember then let me remind you that tumhare bhai ne ab tak shaadi ki baat nahi ki hai. So woh abhi bhi uski girlfriend hai." Di smiled victoriously and Sanam was looking at her wide eyed when she removed his hand from my shoulder and engulfed me in a side hug, "But I have pronounced her my sister. To mera apni behen pe haq zyada hai compared to your haq on your brother's girlfriend."
And for the first time I said something in this argument, "Di got a point there."
Samar was opening his mouth to say something but di started again, "Aur yeh bhool se bhi mat kehna that Warisha is your sister as well."
Sanam came in between, "Samar kyu nahi aisa keh sakta? "
Suman di looked at him with a her most sarcastic smile and she sweetly said, "Beta Sanam, agar Warisha tere bhai ki behen hui to teri kya hogi?"

Keshav and I laughed seeing his reaction.
"Ab tu hi bata? Warisha tumhare side se behen bankar aayegi ya mere side se saali bankar tumlogo ka suwagat karegi?"
Sanam finally gained his normal expression, "isme batana kya hai? Of course woh tere side se hogi."
"Sanam!" Samar frowned.
"Kya?" Sanam looked at his brother, "Tere shaadi ke chakkar me use apni behen banalu? Ji NAHI! "
"To shaadi le liye propose kar deta! " Samar said irritably, "koi kaam nahi hota tujhse!" And left from there.
I had a crooked smile on my face and Sanam was looking bewildered.
Keshav also added, "He is so right. Kaha Samar Suman ko do baar propose kar chuka hai.. Aur ek tu hai." And followed Samar.
Di also said, "Main bhi chalti hu. Mujhe mehendi ke liye ready hona hai." She had a teasing smile on her face as she started walking.
"Di-" I turned to follow her but my words and steps both stooped when Sanam held my wrist stopping me.
"Warisha..."
I faced him slowly, "Hmm..? "
"Woh.. Sab kya keh rahe the?"
"Kya?"
"About.. That-that.. Proposal thing." He said hesitantly.
"To.. Galat kya keh rahe the? Samar ne kiya hai to-"
He interrupted my words, "Samar ki nahi... Main hamari baat kar raha tha."
My heartbeat started racing after hearing that. I was feeling....nervous? "Ha.. Hamari?" I repeated.
He was looking into my eyes as he nodded a yes in answer but then he frowned, "but.. Ain't you too young?"
"What?! " I snapped.
"Yeah.." He left my hand, "you're eighteen right?" He asked.
"Hah! " I left a mocking chuckle, "Eighteen?"
Dude.. Iski sui kya abhi bhi wahi atki hai jab hum peheli baar mile the?
"Sanam... " I said in disbelieve, "Do you still see me as the same eighteen years old with whom you swapped your phone at airport or met after your concert? "
"Yeah.." He nodded, "wahi to ho tum." He said casually.
"Haa.. Main wahi hu.. But hum wahi nahi hai..!" I reminded, "It's been SIX years to that! And if you don't remember then let me tell you many things happened in these years."
"SIX YEARS?" He almost gasped in shock. "It's been six years?! "
"Wow!" I said sarcastically, "So you finally realized it has been six years!"
"I.. I.." He was looking really cute with that expression when he really didn't have any words to say. "I didn't know... But six years.. Really? You're sure? " he asked with as if he wanted me to say otherwise.
I giggled, "Sanam... Look at your face." I covered my mouth with my palm.
Even though I was laughing but he was still in the state where he was having... Time lag? I laughed at my thoughts.
"Why are you laughing?" He asked me, trying to sound angry that just made me laugh even more.
But all my laughter whoosh in air when he snaked his arm around my waist pulling me close to him. His eyes were looking in mine in such way that it made me nervous and I gulped the lump that I felt in my throat.

He had a soft smile on his face as he tugged the loose strand of hair behind my ear, saying:
"No wonder why I didn't realize that it has been six years since we first met; because..." He pulled me closer, "your heart still beats the same as it did first time when I held you this close to me."
My cheeks felt warm and my eyes looked down involuntary, he further added:
"Your cheeks turns the same shade of pink whenever I say something to you.. Just like when I called you 'My Girl'. "
"Sanam.. " I said his name shyly. Ugh!!! My heartbeat was seriously going crazy and my cheeks felt so warm! I knew that whatever he was saying was 100% true. SATYAVACHAN!
"Warisha... " he whispered my name matching my face level, "how am I suppose to realize that you are not an eighteen years old teenager but a grown up lady if you behave the same like day one?" He kept his forehead against mine, "I wonder... If it's only me or your family has also not realized that you're all grown up.. " he teased, "woh.. Khadoos autiya kya kehti hai? Shaadi ke laik hogayi hai.. "
"Sanam!" I pushed him away hiding my smile. Allah! This is so... Ugh! I don't have words!
I was ready to run away but he pulled me again, this time my back resting on his chest. He whispered in my ear, "Ready ho jao...zyada time nahi hai."
"Sanam...!" I blushed running away from him. I turned and saw him smiling looking at me; I shook my head and walked to Di's room.
When I entered there, almost everyone was inside the room with her- Samar, Keshav and di herself.
"Oh God... Koi tamatar se bhi zyada lal horaha hai." Di commented.
"Aa- aap sab yaha?" I fumbled. Ahh!!! Why am I making a fool of myself? Warisha, behave!
"Lagta hai mere bhai ko akal agayi." Samar said teasingly.
Keshav then added, "But tere bhai ko akal laane ke liye we always have to come up with a plan."
I looked at them with an expression of W-H-A-T-P-L-A-N.
Seeing my reaction Samar started, "Oh, you must be thinking what plan?"
"Yeah.. Please enlighten me." I said narrowing my eyes.
Then Di stood beside Samar, who was sitting on a chair. "Actually na.. This plan was little selfish from my side."
"Little? " Samar looked at her dryly.
"Okay.. More than a little... " she grinned.
"Can we skip this measuring game and actually talk about the 'plan'? " I said irritated.
"See Warisha, the reason is simple!" Di began and she had all my attention, "now that I'm getting married to him.. " he pointed Samar, "I don't want to be alone there. So, I told Samar that I want my Devrani soon."
My jaws hung open hearing this, but this was nothing to what Samar said: "And her wish is my command. I had to do it you see? But I know my brother too well.. Woh to shaadi ki baat sochne se raha toh-"
"I came with this idea." Keshav said proudly, "like always.. The saviour."
"And your blushing cheeks are saying that our idea worked." They grinned.
"You guys are impossible! "
All this drama just to make him propose me for marriage? I tell you! My friends are so unpredictable!
Di came to me, "So.. Usne tujhse pucha.. Kiya propose? " she asked excitedly.
"Nahi." I said casually walking away from them.
"NAHI?" The three of them frowned.
"Ji haan, nahi." I smiled.
"To phir usne kaha kya? "
"Yahi ke ready hojao, time zyada nahi hai. Function ke liye, shayad? " I said casually.
Samar and di looked at each other with a wide grin and then they slowly walked towards me.
"Time to zyada nahi hai.. " Di said cheekily.
"Haa.. Mehendi aapki hai, ready hojaona jaldi." I said.
Samar laughed, "You're sure, Suman, that she's ready? "
I looked at them confusedly.
"Haa, Samar.. Ab to tum apne baraat ke baad apne bhai ki baraat ki tayyari karo.. Cause dulhan to ready hai! "
"Di!" I cried with red cheeks and hide myself in Keshav's embrace, "Keshu.. See na..! "
"Haa.. Let me also see.." He held me, "apne dost ke hone wali dulhan ko! "
"KESHAV! TUM BHI! I pushed him away.
I ran out from there and heard them calling, "Going to get ready? Achi baat hai!! "
God!!! Why do they tease me so much. What dulhan dulhan? Suman di is the dulhan, not me!
I was in my own world and that's why I bumped into someone.
"Ouch! "
"Dekh kar nahi chal sakti kya?! " Sahil groaned.
"Tumhare aankhon me bhi to patti nahi thi. Tum bhi to dekh sakte the! " I countered.
"Tumhara chehre gusse se lal hai ya dulhan se zyada tum sharma rahi ho?" He bent down to match my face level.
"Tumhe mujhe irritate karne bohout maza aata hai kya? " I snapped.
He pulled my cheeks, "Tum soch bhi nahi sakti kitnaaa..."
"I swear Sahil, I'll kill you!" I groaned.
"Acha? Kaise? " he asked excitedly, to irritate me more.
I looked behind him, "Yeh.. Yeh is swimming pool me dhakka de dungi tumhe! " I said.
"Oh.. Dekar dikhao?" He flashed his most annoying smile.
"Main de dungi dhakka." I warned.
"Do.." He opened his arms, challenging me to push him, "Do dhakka.
I decided to push him because I knew that all these brothers loves to swim and of course he won't drown but enjoy this silly fight. So I did push him but while falling, he held my wrist resulting me falling with him in the pool as well.
"Ahh!!! " I screamed because unlike him I didn't know how to swim!

A Girl and Her Food
When a lost girl wakes up without a name, she quickly finds herself alone in a way that people around her can’t fix. Without a real plan and desperate to find what’s wrong with her, she thrashes and bites to stay alive. But human beings are weak things, that band together for strength, no matter who we are. Now if only she could work up the courage to ask one question... It’s normal to get stronger when you drink the blood of monsters. Right? Things to expect: - A powerful but kinda neurotic and emotional protagonist, with some degree of weak to strong. Or maybe strong to stronger, honestly. She's pretty rational and practical about things but won't always make the best decisions, so be warned if you super-dislike characters doing dumb stuff for emotional reasons sometimes. - Lots of dialogue and characterization, especially as we get more into it. It's focused on a single POV, but there might be some sections of other POVs later on, I'm not sure right now. - Magic is on the softer side, but I'll try to keep things fleshed out enough to avoid any obvious "well-established magic could have seemingly instantly solved this problem" moments. - I didn't add the mystery tag because I feel like it implies that this is a detective novel or something, but the story is absolutely incredibly opaque at times. So you'll have the most fun if you go into it trying to puzzle out the nature of events before they're explicitly explained!😇 - Also, I added the genre for completion, but it's gonna take a while to get to the romance. Please wait warmly and have some tea. Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge!
