"Bhaiya, woh wala dikhana!" I pointed at a maroon lehenga.

Samar and di are getting married! And all of us were super busy with.... SHOPPING!

The shopkeeper brought the one I asked for.

"Di yeh kaisa hai? " I showed that to Suman di. She gave a look.."Acha hai.. Par tere liye thoda zyada overtop nahi hai? "

I slapped my forehead, "Di... For you! Maroon lehenga main phanungi? "

She looked at Aunty (Sanam's Mom) and came close to me, whispering, "Nahi...tu to green pehenegi."

"Di... " I blushed.

We turned to aunty when she called us, "Suman.. Yeh wala kaisa hai? "

"Mummy ji... Acha hai but aapke liye thoda-"

Before she could complete her sentence, Aunty held her ear, "Haa.. Bol, kya bol rahi thi! "

She whimpered, "Aray Mummy.. Aap achi lagoge.. Bohout achi.. " and aunty twisted her ear more and I was laughing uncontrollably.

"Acha mummy... Bohout zyada heavy hai.. Main to saans bhi na le paungi. Please chor dijye..."

Aunty let her go, "Tum ladkiyon ko to yeh sab 'heavy' hi lagega. Bas chale, toh yeh-" she slapped her knee lightly, "Jeans-kurte me hi shaadi karlo!" And I doubled my laughter.

"Warisha..!" she called me and I immediately replied, "Yes, aunty."

"Tu hi bol yeh kaisa hai? "

I looked at that Blood Red heavy embroidered lehenga. Seeing those shiny beads were making me shiver, gulping the lump in my throat and to tease di, I answered, "Bohout acha hai aunty. Pure showroom me sabse sundar Dulhan ke liye joda hai to yahi hai."

"Hain na! " aunty agreed.

Di glared at me and I suppressed my smile. She hissed at me, "Tu rukh ab." And then she turned to aunty, "Mummy ji.. Aapko yeh joda bohout pasand hai? "

"To nahi to kya?"

"Mummy.. Yeh Sanam ke dulhan ke liye le lete hai.. Aaj nahi to kal uski bhi shaadi honi hai, kyu? " she nudged me teasingly, I rolled my eyes.

Aunty smiled looking at us. Though she pretended that she doesn't know about us but Samar told us that she knew.

"Sanam ki dulhan ke liye... " she said thoughtfully, "par usne to ab tak mujhe apne dulhan se milwaya hi nahi."

Can someone tell me what IS happening??? My cheeks were undoubtedly flushing because I could feel the warmth!!

"Mummy.. You are his mom! Woh bataye ma bataye, aapko to pata hi hoga." Di said cheekily.

I tried to stay away from their conversation, so I pretended to look for dresses. Though I could still hear what they were saying, and I was trying hard not to make a fool of me. Thankfully, I got a call.

When I checked the caller id, it was Sanam!

"Main abhi aayi.. " I excused myself and walked a few steps, answering his call. "Kya hai, Sanam?! Kyu call kiya? You know na that I am with aunty and di."

"Hello Sanam, Hi Warisha, Tum kaise ho? Main bhi theek hu." He said sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes, "Isliye phone kiya? "

"Nahi.. I wanted to meet you, isliye call kiya."

"What non-sense."

"Trial room ke pass aao. Main wahi hu."

"What? Main kahi nahi aarahi." I declared.

"Either you are coming or or I'm coming to you."

"You can't do this! " I smirked. Of course he won't. He's just trying to scare me.

"Are you challenging me, Warisha?" His voice told me that he had his Dark Sanam phase on.

"Sanam, you won't! " I said firmly.

"Two minutes, Warisha... " he said coolly.

Forty percent of me was sure that he won't come but sixty percent was scared that he would and 60 is greater than forty, so I turned to di and signed that I'm going somewhere. She nodded and I got out from there.

I was still on call with him, "Sanam, I hate it when you leave me with no choice. You can't do this, okay! "

"Hello..? Shaadi Samar ki hai.. To main tumse kyu door rahu? " He said, "Tour se aane ke baad ek baar bhi mili mujhse?"

"Sanammm.. " I stopped near the trial room, "Itne din nahi mile toh ek aur din wait kar hi lete na. "

"Ek din? I won't wait for a single second. Where are you by the way?"

I answered dryly, "Outside the trial room." And looking around for him.

"Which one? " he asked.

"What 'which one' Sanam?" I said irritated, and after checking I answered, "First one. Where are you?"

"Walk a little left."

"What? Pagal ho? "

"Warisha.. " he said firmly.

I humped helplessly, and walked a little left, but then suddenly something happened; someone pulled me inside the trial room.

"Sanam! " I squealed, "Kya badtameezi hai yeh?! "

He clamped my mouth with his palm, "Tumhara speaker har waqt full volume mein kyu hota hai haa? And what badtameezi? Apne girlfriend se milna kabse badtameezi hogayi?" He asked me raising his eyebrows.

"Aise milna is badtameezi, when your mom is just distance away! "

"Yaar... I missed you so much, and this is how you treat someone who wants to meet you, huh? " he complained.

"Don't behave like a kid, Sanam." I said dryly.

"Kyu? Uspe sirf tumhara copyright hai? "

"You came here to irritate me?" I punched him playfully, he held my hand, pulling me closer he said:

"Why? Isn't sneaking around called romantic in your dictionary? " he smiled mischievously.

I smiled with blushing cheeks, "Sanam.."

He chuckled encircling his arms around my waist, "Hmm... So, this rosy cheeks means that- sneaking around IS romantic in your dictionary."

I nodded shyly. Of course! I'm typical Bollywood lover and all this KJo romance.. Come on! Every girl loves it!

"So.. Are you going to say 'Koi dekh lega? '" he laughed.

I made a straight face, "Trial room ke andar kaun dekhega? Haa, hall-wall hote to keh sakte the."

He frowned at me, "Hadh hai matlab. Tum to mere kisi cheez se impress hi nahi hoti yaar." He left me and turned his back towards me.

I asked him surprised, smiling broadly: "you were trying to IMPRESS me, Sanam? "

"Not exactly." He said nonchalantly.

I suppressed my giggle, turning him by his shoulder to face me, "Sanam.. " I was smiling continuously, "I didn't want to ask this- but now I can't help.. Why are you-" I left out a soft chuckle, "why are you behaving so strangely after I called you 'unromantic'? "

He skipped making eye contact and then he looked at me saying: "Imagine Warisha- what if I called you unromantic and said that.. That Amy is.. And after that I'd have spend less time with you and more with Amy? "

"I would have beat you two like.. Like... Humph! And I'm not unromantic! " I snapped.

"See.. See.. " he stood close to me, "just the thought of it is making you this angry. Then imagine my condition."

"You're angry with me? " I asked softly but dramatically.

Before he could say anything, someone knocked outside the door, I called, "One minute! " and the voice that I heard after that made my mind froze!

"Warisha, it's you? Acha hai. I have chosen some dress for you. Try it." Sanam's mom said passing some dress above from the cubicle.

I was literally shivering, "A.. Aunty- abhi? "

"Abhi nahi to aur kabhi?! " she said, "jaldi kar.."

I looked at the person who was inside the trial room with me, "Sanam! You always land me in some trouble." I hissed.

"Aray... What did I do? " he whispered innocently.

I molded my eyes at him, "Don't act innocent! What were you thinking when you pulled me in here with you?! Kuch socha nahi! Now look! -"

"Warisha... Jaldi beta."

"Aunty... Ji.. " I replied, and then looking at Sanam I asked, "what am I suppose to do when your mom is standing just outside and you are here, sneaking in."

"Wahi.. Jo mummy ne bola. Change."

I gave him a straight expression, "acha? " and then punched him in stomach.

He muffled his scream for obvious reason and I had a satisfied smirk on my face. "Pays you well for landing me in this situation."

Taking my scarf off from my neck, I tied it around his eyes, "Aray.. Kya kar rahi ho? "

"Can't you see."

"No, I can't." He replied sarcastically.

"Blind folding you so that I can change."

I made him face the wall and sternly commanded, "Don't turn."

"I don't take orders."

"Yes, you do. From me." I said plainly, "now. Shut up! "

But of course, he was Sanam Puri and he doesn't take orders! Though he was blind folded, he turned pulling me closer.

"Aise situation mein you are daring to challenge me dear? " he smirked.

I wanted to thank my own self for blindfolding him, because if his smirk was this effecting, then I don't want to think what his eyes could have done.

"Sanam.. Mo- mom is outside." I fumbled with my words.

"Warisha.. Kitne der? " she called again.

"Thodi der mo.. Aunty."

Sanam smirked again before leaving me and turning his back towards me. "I'm not here."

"You are." I mocked wearing the lehenga over my jeans. That wasn't the big deal.

Opening the door narrowly so that the lights doesn't make his son visible to her. I got out and she frowned.

"Choli kyu nahi pehena? Pura nahi dekhungi.. Toh kaise pata chalega? "

"Ch- choli bhi?"

"Haa! " and she signed me to go inside. I took my steps backwards.

I leaned on the wall and Sanam was laughing silently, still blind folded.

"Haso mat!" I hissed again. I wanted to shout at him, but of course I couldn't.

"You want me to go out? " he teased.

"Yeah.." I rolled my eyes and he suppressed his laughter hearing my tone.

"Sorry.. I didn't know aisa hojaega. I just wanted to meet you." He said sincerely.

"I know."

Even though he was blind folded, with his back facing me, but it was still weird to change in the same small room he was in with me.

"Warisha..? " aunty called again.

"Ek minute, aunty. Bas yeh dori.. " I called.

I wasn't able to reach the zip's end or tie the dori. Generally we girls call another girl to help us, but today, of course, I couldn't. Having left with no choice, I had to ask Sanam for help.

"Sanam... "

"Hmm..?"

"Dori....please help." I mumbled.

"Pakka tumhe meri help chahiye?"

"As if I have any option."

He turned and reached out clueless to reach me. I chuckled with he kept his hands on my shoulder, "Dori waha nahi hai! " I snapped in low voice.

"Warisha... " he said softly but mocking me, "if you remember that.. I'm BLINDFOLDED."

"Haa toh..? Main tumhare saamne thodi na change karni."

He teasingly said, "change to saamne hi kiya." And finally he got both ends of the dori.

"Aa.. Aankhein band thi tumhari. Okay?!"

After tying the knot he removed his blindfold and looked at my reflection on mirror. "You're looking beautiful." He whispered keeping his chin on my shoulder, "Mom ki pasand acchi hai... Aur meri bhi."

At first, I smiled shyly but after that I hit my shoulder with his, "Sanam..!"

"Warisha...hua?" Aunty called again.

"Ji aunty!" I called, and moving away from him I got out.

She looked at me, smiling broadly she said: "Kinni sohni lag rahi hai. Meri pasand kitni achi hai! "

I couldn't help but smile. Firstly, for the compliment that I received and secondly, aunty said the exact words as Sanam. My attention shifted to the room from where Suman di got out. My eyes went wide on seeing her wearing pastel green coloured lehenga.

"You look... Gorgeous." I was awestruck.

She blushed looking down. Oh my God! I can't believe that DI WAS BLUSHING! Like really BLUSHING!

Aunty walked to her and kissed her forehead, "Bohout sundar lag rahi hai. Mehendi ke jode ka yeh haal hai.. Soch shaadi ke jode kya hoga." She teased.

"Tum dono change karlo. Main waha hoon." She said leaving us behind.

I turned to her, "Di...!! "

"Ekdum chup! " she said sternly and then with a suppressed shy smile she said, "main change karke aayi." And got inside.

When I got inside and found Sanam, I realized that I did totally forget about him! Before he could say anything; I pushed him out and changed into my attire.

We left the place after buying all the dress that mom selected for all of us and we got out, Sanam pretended to be here to receive us but I knew the truth. 😉
