Sanam

After doing what Warisha ask me to do I went back to our apartment. When I entered opening the door, all eyes were on me obviously. With an awkward smile on my face I closed the door, walking to them I asked:

"Will you guys stop staring me like that? "

The look that they had was telling me: Beta Sanam, teri toh band bajne wali hai.

Warisha came to me and holding my hand, she started walking away from everyone to her room. I turned to look at Samar and everyone to get a hint about what happened when I wasn't here but he just shrugged his shoulder casually and Suman and everyone else were waving at me with a 'tu to gaya' smile.

What did I do now?

Once we entered her room which was my jamming room before, she freed me from her grasp and closed the door. Then she stood glaring at me folding her hands over her chest.

"Kaha gaye the? "

To lighten her mood I sillily said, "Everyone is outside and you brought me in here. Sab kya sochenge? "

"At least woh kuch sochenge to! " she barked.

I looked at her confusedly, "At least? "

She rolled her eyes and asked again, "kaha gaye the? "

"As you asked me.... Natasha ko manane. " I replied.

Iski memory weak hogayi hai kya?

"Kyu gaye the? "

I looked at her with a frown, "Again; kyuki tumne kaha tha!"

"Paanch saal ke bacche ho?! " she snapped pushing me, "that you'll do what other say? Khud ka dimaag nahi hai? " she asked me with a hint of anger and frustration in her voice.

"Aray! From where all this is coming? I did what you ask me to and still you are getting angry at me? " I countered.

"That is why I am angry, Sanam. Why did you do what I asked you? Why WILL you do what others say? Huh? "

I was still confused with her questions and behavior, "Warisha, will you please tell me clearly what's wrong?-"

"Of course I will! That's why we are here. " she nodded with a glare.

"So..? "

She heaved a long sigh to calm herself, "Sanam... What I mean to say is; you don't have to do what I say, or anyone else. I asked you to go after Natasha and without a second thought you followed what I said. You don't have to. Are you getting what I'm trying say? " she asked me softly.

After listening to what she said, I knew what she meant and what she was talking about. She was indirectly saying that because of my habit of following people's word easily, Natasha succeeded in drifting us apart. If only I wasn't manipulated by her and doing things to make Warisha hate me but followed my heart and ended our misunderstanding then neither me nor Warisha had to suffer these six months.

"I'm sorry. " I looked at her with guilt in my eyes for hurting her.

She looked away skipping to meet my eyes, "it's okay Sanam. You don't have to say sorry now. "

"Why are you not meeting my eyes? Is there something that is bothering you? " I asked her.

She gulped uncomfortably looking around our room.

"Warisha? "

"Haa? Kuch bhi to nahi hua, kuch nahi.. " she stammered.

I knitted my eyebrows together, walking towards her, "Warisha... What are you hiding? " I stood in front of her and made her look into my eyes, "Tell me. "

She took a sharp breath, her lips were trembling. There is something that she is hiding or something that she is too scared to share. But what?

"Warisha..? " I raised my eyebrow.

She turned away from me. "Uhm, we should get going. Everyone must me waiting for us. "

Her actions were confusing me; Making me think that something is wrong but then I made myself understand that after months we are together and that might be the reason why she's uncomfortable around me.

I nodded following her outside and everyone looked at our direction and Suman spoke, "Still no lipstick? Kya yaar! You guys disappointed me! "

"Suman! " Samar shook his head at her while everyone laughed.

Warisha fired back, "Samar... Di is in a mood to get some lipstick. Why don't you help her? "

I chuckled standing beside her and Samar asked Suman teasingly, "Is it, love?"

Believe me, if there was some other girl, she would be blushing red but this was Suman! And she don't do shy. Her reply was epic and unexpected.

"Of course, love! That's what I want but you are too shy to do that. " she complained sweetly and the room was echoing with 'owhhh' while Warisha's reaction stand out, "What! You didn't say that! "

"She did." Everyone chorused and then we all bursted in fist of laughter.

"So, what shall we do? Now that all of us are here and we have Sahil also! " Keshav hi-fived with Sahil and Warisha and I took our seat.

"Marine chalte hai. Almost everyone's favorite! " Warisha said happily with a big grin.

"Fine with us! " Samar and Suman smiled.

Uh! All of us know its their favorite place to be.

Everyone else agreed too, it was indeed everyone's favorite. Sahil took out his phone and was making a call. I teased him, "Calling your girlfriend, brother? "

He chuckled, "Bhai.. Itne mushkil se to chutti mili hai. Delhi me hi rehne de use; I'm booking a jeep for tonight. "

"GREAT! " Everyone was pleased with the idea and some were more than excited.

We had a good number of pizza delivered in our home for lunch. Laughing, teasing and chattering were echoing. Every single person in the room was happy.

At five in evening, all girls left with Suman to get ready at her place. We'll have pick them from Suman's place.

"Dude, we don't have to get ready, right? " Sahil joked and we all laughed.

We had our fun gaming session for more than an hour. When it was half to go for seven we got to change into our night out attire and which turn out to be black faded jeans teamed up with black T-shirt.

When five of us found out that we have dressed up likely without even planning, we couldn't control our laugh.

"Girls won't be happy with our look." Samar laughed locking the door behind.

"Speak for you three." Sahil hi-fived Keshu.

"Safe-zone." Venky commented on the single boys.

When got in the jeep with Sahil on driving seat and Samar beside him and three of hopped on back.

Samar ringed Suman's phone when we reached her place. We were waiting for the girls downstairs and when they came out from the building to us, all of our chattering stopped when our eyes landed on them.

All three of them were looking so... Only if beautiful can define them then yes, they were looking beautiful. Very beautiful.

Though all were looking gorgeous but my eyes were stuck on my girl.

She was walking down the stairs with such grace and settling her loose curls that were coming on her face.

She smiled looking at my direction and I mouthed, "Beautiful." She blushed looking away from me.

We boys looked at each other to find out that we were mirroring our expression. Then I looked at Samar's appearance; he was not looking presentable enough to the date of the girl who coming to him and then I realized that neither was I nor Venky.

Remy, Suman and Warisha stood a few feet distance from us. We were utterly mesmerized by them, I swear! Feeling stupid in front of these gorgeous girls, I rubbed back of my neck with a silly smile.

They giggled and Suman said in obvious voice: "I told you all." To her girl. They nodded in agreement and next second three packets came flying to Venky, Samar & My face that we were quick enough to catch before embarrassing ourselves more.

"We knew you guys will end up like this." Remy eyed us disapprovingly and Warisha continued, "So we bought something to glam up your plain T-shirt. Tho I don't mind it, you guys are looking hot in it as well. " she winked smiling at us.

Before we could say anything Suman held her ear. "Warisha ki bacchi, tu hamare side hai."

"Ouch di!! " she whined.

I held her hand pulling her to me, "Aye Suman, don't you dare to hurt her in front of me." I faked a warning.

"Looks like the caring boyfriend is back... " Keshav teased making everyone laugh and Warisha blush.

We wore the jacket that they gave us and Sahil complained, "What? Just because we (Keshav & him) don't have any date doesn't mean we don't deserve to look good."

"Right." Keshav nodded.

Remy smiled, "I know this was coming, too. " She gave one packet to Keshav and Sahil got his from Suman.

"Keshav and I will be in front." Sahil announced getting in jeep, "you all lovebirds, settle yourself back there. "

"Aww... Someone's jealous." Suman commented as Samar helped her to get in and all of us snickered.

"Stop by Hotel Grand." Suman told Sahil.

All of us asked together, "Hotel Grand? "

"Dekh lena.. " Remy grinned.

I looked at Warisha for some answer but she seemed as clueless as we boys were.

When we stopped there Keshav asked, "Why are we here? " in bored tone.

"Abhi pata chal jayega." Suman said dialing a number.

I was whispering everything to Warisha that she missed while she was with Remy & Suman, getting ready for the evening. She was giggling and smiling listening to our boy timepass and then she suddenly screamed, "OHMYGOD! "

I followed her gaze and smiled widely seeing the person.

"Ameera! " Warisha jumped from the jeep running to her cousin cum best friend and embracing her in tight hug.

Everyone smiled seeing the little reunion whereas Sahil grinned, "Well.. I guess I found myself a date."

"Sochna bhi mat. She is already engaged and crushing over Samar." I enlightened him but he laughed, "Toh main kaunsa usse shaadi ke liye propose kar raha hu. Just for tonight bro, chill. "

"Tu nahi sudhrega." I shook my head.

"Hey guys! " Ameera cheered walking close to the jeep.

"Welcome Back! " Venky and I greeted.

"Ameeeeeraaaaaa! " Suman grinned.

"Amy! We missed you. " Samar smiled.

"I know and thank you. " eyeing the space she said. "I'll catch up with you guys when we get to our destination. "

We laughed agreeing to her and Warisha got on her seat back beside me.

Ameera walked to Keshav, "Keshu!!!! " she squealed.

"Ameera!!!! " they hugged each other and Ameera settled herself beside him.

"Hello to you too. " Sahil said dryly asking for her attention. All of us suppressed our giggle as Sahil introduced himself. "I'm Sahil, Samar-Sanam's cousin."

But Ameera's reply made us burst out in laughter. "Oh hi, Sahil. I'm so sorry, I thought you were driver."

"What?! " he gasped and Ameera apologized, "I didn't mean like that! Oh God! "

And we continued our laughter as Sahil drove us to our destination giving us silent treatment but Suman and Warisha were making sure to crack him up once in a while.
