Our ride continued for more than an hour and I enjoyed every second of it, from the passing wind to being so close to him, his melodious laugh in between our silly talks, his puns, everything was special.
"Are we going to beach?" I asked suspiciously on seeing our surrounding.
"Oh God! You're so smart Warisha! How did you know that? " he mocked, laughing at my silly question. I slapped his back lightly "Shut up, okay?! When you are with me, everything else is least of my concern." I said in duh tone, which was truth! If he is with me, I don't have much idea about my surrounding.
"Behta-reen... Behta.. Flow.. Waves, sea! So that was what you meant? " I asked him walking on the sea shore. He was walking behind me as he answered "You are becoming very smart."
I turned flashing a big smile "Get out of that sarcastic phase of yours, Mr. Puri."
He crossed his hands over his chest and smirked "What if I won't... Ms. Ahmed? "
"Then it's.. Your loss." I shrugged, making a baby pout. He narrowed his eyes at me, suspicious of my action. I grinned bending down in a blink and splashing water on him.
"Oye! " he shouted using his hand as shield to block the water but it was useless. I bursted in fist of laughter and started running with him following me "Warisha! There's no use of running...!!" He shouted and moved his feet in water which resulted drenching back of my cloth. I shrieked at the sudden contact of water from my body and the seaside wind make it chilly. I love this!
I turned again, kicking the water, making it drench Sanam. "Warisha.... " he groaned walking towards me.
"Aah!! " I shouted while laughing and running towards shore, away from knee deep water.
Within minutes his strong arms snaked around me "Sanam!! " I laughed.
"Ab bolo? Should I throw you in water? " he asked in his fake malicious voice.
I giggled "Mercy, mercy my Highness." I said dramatically. He laughed again "What? You're impossible! " and he let me go, bending as he kept his palm on his knees and kept laughing.
"What?! " I shouted "I haven't cracked any joke! " I stood keeping my hands on my waist and he shook his head with his continuous laugh. I opened my mouth to say something but decided against it and turned away from him, stomping my foot angrily.

He faintly called my name and within seconds he was walking beside me "Hey! "
I looked at him annoyingly with a straight face. I wasn't annoyed at all or angry. Its just that I love to behave like this with him and to listen his laughter, I can behave like this always. SANAM has always been the reason behind the smile of millions, including me and if I can make him laugh, I feel blessed.
"We are here to enjoy and you are acting like an angry bird and that too a big red one." He complained leaving me speechless again. Oh God! His gaming puns.
I stood there facing him "My dear gamer boyfriend, kabhi gaming ki duniya se bahar bhi niklo!" shaking my head, I started walking again.
"Ha! " he was walking beside me again "I'm not a kid that I'll play angry bird." He chuckled.
"Sanam... I can imagine you playing Super Mario, then Angry bird is a big deal. " I giggled.
"Super Mario is for Legends! Hahaha.. "
I pushed him away "Oh God! I'm tired of this kids and legends. Sanam.. Please.. " I frowned. (A/N- Ain't we? 😒😒)
"Acha Sorry! " he laughed.
We sat on sand, enjoying the view of beautiful waves dancing on shore and the water shining with the moonlight. Cool sea breeze blowing gently.
It was heaven. Neither of us spoke a single word, we were surrounded by a very comfortable silence.
Sanam and I, both love beaches as its vibes are so calming. I love seaside. Back in Kolkata, we don't have seaside but very beautiful Riverside parks and ghats, I use to spend a lot of time there. And I am sitting near water body after a year or more.
I looked him "Sanam? " I called softly.
"Hmm..? " he said softly, still admiring his view. I wanted to ask something but I forgot what and I just kept looking at him, smiling like an idiot. When he didn't get any reply, he looked at me and shook his head when he found me staring at him.
"Warisha...? " he tapped my forehead lightly "stop staring." He said with a soft laugh.
"You're so perfect Sanam. I cannot help myself but stare at you and my God! Your eyes and smile...it just left girls awestruck with a crazy heart." I said fluidly.
I still remember those days when he was a like a dream to me. I use to stare at his picture and admire his charm. His smile use brighten my gloomy days and his voice use to, no, it still does make me forget everything and left me in peaceful state. He is magic.

He smiled with a hint of red cheeks at my sentence. I love everything about him!
"Do you remember what I told you when you asked me, where are we going? " he asked trying to change our ongoing topic which was him. I grinned at his attempt, shaking my head a no as an answer.
"I said that we are going somewhere, where we can do everything that we love.. Remember? "
I gaped my mouth in realization with a slight nod "Haa... So, we are doing what we love! Watching waves and listening to its pleasant sound, relaxing... This wind.. And...Oh... I'm sorry we can't play video games here, that's what you love the most.. " I said the last sentence sadly as I tried to hide my smile. Sanam rolled his eyes at me. I'm sure that I have irritated him at some level.
"Acha acha sorry... Bolo kya bol rahe the. " I said sweetly. But instead of replying me, he kept looking passed me. I raised my eyebrow at him questioningly.
"Gola or bhutta? " he asked nonchalantly.
"What? "
He looked at me with straight face " What do you want to have.. Gola or bhutta?"
I curled my lips in 'o' "ummm... Both!" I said shamelessly. He laughed and we went for Gola first and laughed a lot while having it and examining whose tongue got the darker colour. He won obviously as he had a bunch of colours in his gola while I had only 'Kala khatta' (A/N- What's your gola flavor?? Let me know 😆) After that we ate bhutta. He teased me all the while as I am a very slow bhutta eater. And threw some corn seed at each other in between. It was cute!
While walking together "What were you saying? " I asked him again about our 'love to do things' which we were talking before being the bhukkar that we are.
He stopped walking and so did I. "Stand still." He said.
"You're Edward from Twilight? Acha sorry.. " I apologised for cracking the lamest joke ever that even left Sanam with a straight face.
"Close your eyes." He said with a smile. I smiled doing the same. He then covered my eyes with his palm and asked me to walk slowly as he guided. After a few steps we stopped and he made me rest my head on his shoulder. I was blushing very hard as I anticipated to know what he was going to show. He removed his hands and whispered softly in my ears "Open your eyes."
As I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was a clear night sky with millions of stars twinkling. I smiled broadly on seeing this and he snaked his arms around my waist "I told you that we can do everything that we love, then how can we forget about star gazing? " he said softly.
Okay... Let me just drool over my love because he is so damn cute and loving.
"You're Amazing Sanam! " I said in pure admiration.
We spent some more time there. "It is the most perfect unplanned date one can ever have! "
"This was a date? " he questioned. I face palmed at his question. What could it be Mr. Sanam Puri?
"Shit yaar!" I shouted while our ride back to our home.
"What happened?"
"Sanam.... We were on beach and we didn't share or had coconut water! " I cried.
We had spent such lovely time there by sitting and watching the waves, cool sea breeze, star gazing, bhutta fight and all cute and romantic talk but we forgot the common thing. Hmph!
"This wasn't our last date..." He chuckled "We can do that next time! "
"Point." I agreed.
We reached our society and completed our unplanned date with a goodnight hug and walked towards our respective building. Overcoming my scared feeling while being in lift.. alone I looked for the keys and then I remember that my purse is in Samar's car. Damn! The extra key which is usually kept by flower pot is with Harshita 'cause of course that bhulakkar forgot to keep it back after using it today!
"Ab bhugto." I said under my breath as I ringed the doorbell. After like 2 minutes she opened the door in a sleepy state "welcome back. " she murmured and she walked in directly towards bedroom. I giggled at her cuteness and after taking a quick shower I went to sleep too.
